I believe the Prosecution will argue Restraint, of some sort..
Jeff Ashton described in a Dec 2009 hearing how Caylee must have been restrained (IF someone finds the Video to that hearing ...the one where Casey asks Andrea to make him stop...please post the link...I haven't found it yet)

was the duct tape found in a loop or a straight piece? because if her hands were bound with it, it should still be in a loop, no?

and my god, those pics of the trunk stain are like SEEING her poor little dead body. I feel so down now :( the jury needs to see that liner. bring it into court so they can see it and SMELL it.
 
Q104 was straightish... but if you consider the process that her remains went through, and the level of animal activity that must have taken place to scatter her different body parts over such a wide area... well, I can't even finish typing this thought.

Suffice to say I can see a scenario where the tape could end up that way even if it started off around her little wrists.

Yes, the animals would have done havoc on her little body to get to a meal. I am so sick typing this. That would explain the semi-straightening of the tape.
 
Does anyone know, if any animal tooth marks were noted on the tape?

IIRC - we only saw the duct tape pieces after they were straightened out by LE or FBI. I do not recall seeing the duct tape pieces as they were found on site.

I remember there were what appeared to be pin holes and frayed edges. there is also some amazing work done by fellow ws'rs on those duct tape threads.

Back on track for the stains in the trunk . . . .

Well, looking into this further I think my theory about the tape being around the torso might not be right (assuming this piece is Q104). Valhall :rocker: had an excellent post explaining that Q104 was not long enough to have done so. Also that the Area 20 referred to in the search grid also contained items taken from the Anthony home.

This is my all-time favorite thread on this forum. The saddest, but great work! I was never able to see what everyone seen (the outline) until this thread and I am so thankful.

I do have a question. I know that they are going to argue the stain in the trunk at these hearings this week... will the State be showing photographs of their own enhanced photographs of this outline? Will they show them on a big little display like Jose has been using? I want to see if they are seeing exactly what we are seeing? Maybe more?
 
Pardon the question if this is common knowledge.
The outline, is it possible to see impressions of folds/layering, of the duct tape?
Haven't schooled myself much on this topic.
Too hard to unsee these things.
The reason I ask is: In hope that a photo will show, without bias, ( Mr. Mason ) this was no accident, thus, making sure wrist restraints are set to the most restrainy of restraint, just before injection.

I don't know what images they will use at the hearing... or what kinds of advanced imaging techniques they have available to them... but I got pretty excited when reading through the product brochure on the CONDOR machine (post 562).

If these images are displayed on that screen, like the video witnesses, I wonder what KC's reaction will be? Will she maintain her paralegal charade? Will she break down? How could you sit there, innocent or guilty, and look at a stain made by your own child's decomposing body, and not fall over in grief? Or throw up? I mean, this stuff gives some of us nightmares. She lived it. She remembers that smell. She remembers that stain. What on earth will the DT do with her when she's faced with these images?

I always have trouble locating the videos....and I prefer the ones posted on You tube..the videos from media outlets just don't always work for me..they keep freezing up.

Jeff Ashton is very Powerful at this hearing...IMO
