Is there anywhere in these letters where Kc uses the word chloroform? Or says something incriminating toward premeditated first degree murder?

Not that I have read so far ( I am still reading though). I posted this somewhere else, but to me the letters just go to show the extent of the friendship she shared with RA. It will help to back up RA when she tells the jury what KC told her personally. It is just another knock against KC in my opinion. The letters do however show me how dysfunctional this family is and how delusional KC is. Just the statement that "I didn't report her missing because she was and she wasn't" ??? huh??? You dropped her off at an empty apartment? The number was disconnected? And that she was saving up money to move?? huh??? Stolen money? I guess because she was not working. and her mom is "milking" her leave of absense and should appreciate her job. While her dad was fired and lying about going to work...You mean, he was doing exactly what KC did for 3 years??? Don't get me started....

Something I find fascinating is observations made here about her behaviour/thoughts that seem to be true as confirmed by Casey.

The glasses for her librarian look (shout out to magic-cat for reminding me)
She hates the cameras on her in court and is very aware of them.
She hates NeJame.
She hates Jessie.
She is pissed off with her family and especially Cindy for media appearances, tour of the Anthony home, registering Caylee/Casey names as a trademark.
She is playing a game and a role here.
She believes she will get out of jail.
She thinks she's a celebrity.
She thinks the defense team are doing a bang up job.
She thinks of herself as an up-and-coming lawyer.

Youthful ideals or narcissism? She is a narcissist or an eternal child. Narcissists have infantile mental processes and try to avoid adulthood and all adult responsibilities. Her suffocating parents (mom especially) didn’t help her evolve into an adult either. Her parents treated her like a toddler and provided her with all of her needs.

It's the lack of concern that is most damning. She writes hundreds of pages of fantasy nonsense and venom toward her family, and nothing but self serving and easily disprovable pap about her relationship with Caylee.

I mean, just in the time I've spent reading KC's letter.... she's embraced God, been Ordained, is fully versed on the Bible-especially the feel good parts(not so muchy about the Commandment parts:wink, become endowed with special powers to personally see to it that BFF's miracles' will be granted(boy I definitely wanna be her friend,:blowkiss: foooor suuuure), has gained a full education on our Justice System (she says-poo poo:snooty:), assisted as a paralegal, become a Philosopher with a penchant for frat jokes(hm, inneresting.didn't.see.that.coming.atall), has plans to save all the little children and provide a wonderful home(albeit on wheels)for those especially poor and challenged Irish speaking Ones, become a certified Life Coach, has achieved speed-of-light tele-portation skills that allow her to have experienced everything everyone else has...ever(OMG what a coinkydink!)- all from her little room on Hopespring (and the little cell she sits in now) and all while ONLY sleeping with 7 guys! Ok got a question here maybe it should be posted on another thread for legal questions- but on page 32- she states "I got a letter that he wrote me yesterday and his spirits were lifted" in ref to GA- I thought she was not allowed correspondence from her parents w/o courts knowledge?????

Sure could be.

It could also be someone in a panic trying to make it look like a kidnapping gone bad.

I'm really not trying to defend her here, but if a mother was in the habit of tranquilizing her child to go out and party and then the child dies, it's not first-degree murder.

The thing is the defense doesn't have to prove she didn't have a guilty mind per mens re, (the act does not make a person guilty unless the mind be also guilty), the prosecution has to prove she did.

That she sedated the child in the past creates some level of reasonable doubt as to her intent to kill.

BBM: I respectfully disagree. The act of tranquilizing her child constitutes aggravated child abuse and if a death occurs as a result of said aggravated child abuse, then you have 1st degree murder.

NTS...I can only go by what others reported about the chloroform...wish I could go look for ya, but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.

But, that's what I was referring to in my other post. It seems like everyhting including the kitchen sink was thrown out in this correspondance. How nice and neatly packaged, don't ya think? Nah...I'm not buying much of this. And for the life of me, I cannot make any sense of the Skye connection. Just blows my mind!!

So here we go again, Kc shooting the bull as usual and nothing meaningful said.
Some writer several years from now will try to write a book on these letters, only they won't be able to twist the words around anymore than they already are. She has mastered the art of meaningless chat. Many attached to her case have mastered the art of twist, turns and goofy characters. As Lp sits with cowboy hat and toothpick, he trys to insert himself into the meaningless chat. Hollywood can't make this stuff up. This is the best interactive ongoing book that I have ever read. IMO

I have tried to read all of the letters and posts (almost made it through), but find myself at a stand still now. Of all the documents we have read during this case, for some reason, these letters seem to be the most difficult to get through. Probably because I know that a good majority of it is nonsense.

As NG said, I know more about Casey than I ever wanted to.

Casey mentions her inmates kids far more often than she mentions Caylee and that in itself will be damning in front of a jury.

ITA. That would explain how she's able to dismiss it, move on with life as if hers started over when Caylee's ended..I mean she justifies this by saying Caylee's in a better place and won't ever experience the hardships of life. Yet at the same time, KC couldn't want anything more in these letters than to get a start on HER new life.

A lot of the god-talk seemed to support that. Sort of as if - 'Caylee's in heaven, so she's fine, she's better off than me.'
