I think this call is all BS.....didn't I hear Tommy tell Granny to make sure and tell Misty? They are both just tryin to save their butts....I feel if this tape was part of the investigation, we would not be listening to it....I would rather hear more of RC's recorded calls myself.....Granny is just playin right along with the story.....didn't Misty go up there after the so called divorce?? I am sure she spent some of her time there with JO.....MO

as far as granny being "adorable" she lost that factor with me when she said if Joe was molesting misty, misty must have liked it 'cause she always wanted to go over there, really who says that?? it's not adorable imo

Never once was Joe mentioned in the 3 day binge

I don't know, (actually, none of know what happened to little Haleigh) but I find her, GMH, to be a adorable great-grandmother. I think that Flora was angry with Misty because of her "Loose" ways and it really irked her to watch it happen on her watch. So since she is plain spoken and tells it like it is, she came out with that statement. She could and should have said, Misty spent entirely too much time with Joe when she came to visit and it really bothered me. But....she just spoke her mind instead. :waitasec:

I wish Tommy had said just when Joe tried to kill all of them. If he's talking about that night, then why didn't he or Misty have any bruises or cuts. The trailer had no blood or other evidence that we've heard, and Jr. didn't tell of some lunatic rampage going on. Haleigh is the only one who's no longer around, and I doubt if Tommy would even include children in the "us". Saying he tried to kill "all of us" makes it sound as if there were more adults present than just he and Misty.

JMO - GMa Hollars was used to get this story to[Misty.

The reason I say this is it is very common for those who tell fibs to say "tell them what I said" - it is suggestive especially when the other one could be in trouble as well. Just as suggestive as GMa Hollars throwing Joe's name out there. This is the story Tommy wants Misty to repeat and GMa Hollars as well as Lindsy and Timmy and Chelsea. Doesn't mean it is true, but they all repeated this story without knowing the truth at all. So in that respect, it worked.

raisincharlie, you have hit the jackpot on this. I too believe this was Tommy's way to get the word out to Misty on what story to sick with.
Tommy knew going into the call that it was being recorded. He can't forget that fact for a moment. He's using the system to contact Misty and whoever else for that matter.
And GM Hollars went on to help spread the word for him. Why else would she repeat their conversation?

You heard way more than I did. I didn't hear all that. Tommy never mentioned Joe's name. He said LINDSY already knew the story, not Granny. Granny was the one who started rattling off details and he told her, "That's BS". We must have been listening to different recordings.

Nope, exact same recordings. The "rattling off" u speak of that ToC called "BS" was AFTER ToC had already stated(telling Gma to tell Linds) That she already knows the story. Then Gma tells ToC the latest she's heard and that's the "rattling" of which u speak(the false story of Ron)story was that Haleigh had od-ed on 1of Rons pills and ToC and MC helped in cover up. Thats what ToC called BS, not once but twice. She then says shes just so glad he's going to tell the truth finally, he states several things about "HE needs to pay", "HES crazy", and that "He threantened to kill his fam(i took that to mean his kids, as he referred to them specifically more than once)Gma asks it it JO? TOC CONFIRMS THIS WITH ANSWERING YES....
I'll be glad when we have the audio completely transcribed, so they'll be no "mincing" of words. Although the full version(unfortunate w/all the profanity) but it was crystal clear and it was in reference To GMA talking about the ROns pill od-ed Haleigh rumor that ToC called "BS" twice.

I feel this phone call between Tommy and Grandma Hollars was released on purpose to send a message out to the others...like hey they still are pointing fingers at Joe. IMO, LE would never release any calls that may have "Creditable Admission" to a crime when charges have not been filed yet and the case is still under investigation. I feel the call with Tommy and Grandma Hollars was staged. Grandma leads with the Cousin Joe did it and Tommy is like, uh yeah that's it and then goes along with Grandma. Grandma says, is it what Misty said, Tommy, yeah..well. Misty has said a lot of different versions. Grandma then mentions the drugs that were left out at the MH that Haleigh may of gotten into. Misty has told several versions of what may of happen and in all those versions I would take one tid bit out to try and see if it fits in the puzzle. From the way Werter makes it sound like LE has the dots and is just connecting them. with Tommy's help/information.

That bothered me too. When he agreed with GMH that it was the story that MC had told GMH and so she relates of the story of MC said that Haleigh took pills and dies and he calls BS. Then he states that it's someone else and GMH says, was it Joe. So, I don't feel that he's telling the truth. Toc is just getting the message out to MC of what story to use.
Then we go to the fact that GMH has been told stories as has Lindsey. How long did they have that info and did they tell LE at the time that they heard it? They have all been passing info indirectly from one another thru family members.
The deal with GMH on the phone with Toc while on another phone with Lindsey says a lot. How many calls have been like that I wonder. They are quiet slick.
I don't think that there's one trust worthy one in the whole bunch. I think that JO is just a gangster wannabe. I still can't see him as the perp.
Look how many stories that GMH has put out there.

Her grandkids are just using her for a mouth piece.

Would that make her an accomplice after the fact? Nah. I don't think she knows anymore about the truth of the matter than we do.

I totally agree that if this tape was released, then it is NOT part of the investigation, which leads me to believe the whole "Joe did it" thing has been ruled out. I don't think they found anything on the river search to back up any of TC's story. Which IMO takes us right back to square one. Sigh :angel:

Lindsy didn't have any PayTel minutes left to talk to him. You have to pay in advance for talking time from prisoners. Granny had minutes so he called her.

I think it was reported there was blood in the van and scratches and a dent on the van.

Not that I am buying the story he is selling. Every time I listen to it I feel he is lying.
