2010.04.11 ~ Tommy and Gramma Hollars phone call

There were a couple of comments that I feel are worth a second read in Dr. Lillian Glass' Body Language Analysis regarding Tommy and Grandma Hollars phone conversation.

"He said he was threatened to stay quiet about what happened, or risk being killed. He told his grandmother he feels more safe in jail

Even though Tommy denied Flora’s scenario that she heard Haleigh and found one of his pills and took it and was dead …and even denied the rest of her scenario that “ Ron called you to get you to come up there and help Misty clean the house while he disposed of Haleigh,” the real question is, what part of the scenario is Tommy denying? Is there any part of the scenario which is true? Is he denying the part that:

1. Haleigh found one of his pills and took it and was dead, or that
2. Ron called him to come up there and help Misty clean the house, or that
3. Ron disposed of Haleigh?
Was Tommy saying “no” to all of this story or only to a part of it?

IMO, Grandma Hollars was putting the "chosen" story into Tommy's mouth. I believe that Grandma Hollars was the go between for Misty and Tommy so that they could have basically the same story to tell LE. She gave him the answer. Tommy didn't volunteer the "Joe killed Haleigh" story. IMO, Tommy was involved with the cleanup and did not witness a murder. I still have not changed my belief that Ron Cummings was involved with his daughter's death. The headless rat in Tommy's mailbox speaks volumes to me. Joe is the chosen "Scape Goat". Grandma Hollars is protecting her favorite Grandchild, Misty. Misty is protecting Ron. I hope and pray that Tommy has told the truth as he knows it and not repeating stories given to him to tell.

This just doesn't make any sense to me:

After relaying three different scenarios related to HaLeigh's death to her grandson, Tommy calls foul, saying:

"That's B.S!"

And his Granny replies (as if this makes perfect sense!):

"OK, I'm glad your telling me the truth, I been wanting to know, but I've knowed it, all this time I've knowed it in my heart."

She's glad he's telling her the truth? The only thing Tommy tells her is that what she has repeated to him are LIES.

Is that what Flo Hollars meant? That she knew all these stories were lies.

Is that what Tommy meant?

Going by the entire conversation it seems quite clear that Tommy is discussing Ronald L. Cummings as the perpetrator of the crime and as the one who has threatened him, his family, and others; a man who can not get to them now.

My thoughts and opinions.

You made me think of Ron's attorney's comments after LE met with Ron that day. According to Ron's attorney who was not in the meeting with Ron, Ron said that LE told him they needed to start thinking about planning a funeral. Everyone else came out of that meeting saying they would not believe Haleigh was dead. They wanted proof. But Ron believed it enough to tell his attorney they needed to start planning the funeral.

IMO, that told LE that Tommy and Misty talking and taking them to that dock made Ron think they either found Haleigh or they were going to find her soon. Because you do not plan a funeral without a body.

IMO, the funeral comment makes me believe the part of the call that Ron disposed of Haleigh's body is true.

Didn't Art Harris say that Crystal told a friend "Joe killed my baby"?

Werent some of the family members upset when they came out of the meeting?

IMO

Yes, that is what Art reported Crystal said. Wonder what LE said that gave her that idea??

Sounds like LE gave them a full update on how the case stood the day they had the special meeting with them.

IMO, Joe sure was mentioned.

Tommy stated very clearly when Granny started speculating about her theories about Ron that it was BS!

Hi, OBE, To me nothing was nothing was stated clearly in that conversation, not really. I agree Tommy called BS, but it was to ...well, what was he calling a lie? All of it, some of it?

I think we have different theories regarding what happened to HaLeigh, but from my point of view ( believing that Ron is the one who committed the crime against HaLeigh) then Tommy saying "BS" could mean that some, or none of the scenarios were correct, one of them being that Ron just disposed of her body. I get the distinct impression that these stories and the fact that Ron was supossedly being touted as one who played a lesser role (not the crime itself, but the ordering of her body being disposed of) angered Tommy.

Hi there Seeking Truth!

The whole spiel that Flora was pushing about Haleigh ODing on one of Ron's pills. Frankly I think Flora got that tale from reading the internet or the talk shows. And what she didnt get from the internet and the media she made up. She went on and on that Tommy said this and that yet when the actual tape came out Tommy never mentions what happened to Haliegh. Only who has to be arrested and pay for it and he wanted Lindsy to contact his lawyer. I think he must be use to granny's tall tales and rumor mongering.

I heard nothing in Tommy's emotional call that included Ron Cummings. I felt Tommy was glad to finally get all this off his chest about Joe and it had been a long time coming.

I think he had already confided in Lindsy months ago about what Joe did and told her that he and Misty were there when it happened.

Yes, we do have stark difference of opinions in who we think killed Haleigh but that is the way it should be.... since we each own our on opinions and they don't have to be clones of each other.

I see nothing, and believe me I have twisted this case inside and out, even considering all the theories posted here and elsewhere, but I still don't see any evidence that even remotely shows me RCs is involved even in a lesser role.

Hi back, Ocenblueeyes,

I appreciate your response. I agree, it would be very bleak existence if we all were just clones, people with no individuality.

I think the biggest reason I believe that Ronald Cummings is responsible for what happened to his daughter is that NOTHING has made sense in the story that he, Misty, his mother, and grandmother put forth., from the 911 call forward.

I am not here to change your mind. We see the people and events that have been unfolding in very different lights.

Take care.:o

bbm

ST, I agree with your entire post but the part that I bolded I had never thought about. Good thinking! I would be pizzed too if people were making it seem like Ron played a lesser role in all of this than he actually did. Especially if I knew the truth.

JMO though

JMO, but I feel that some of the upset family members were upset because LE formally told them that Haleigh is dead. I'm sure that hearing it from LE had a heck of an impact. The truth hit home. Maybe LE also told them about the story being told about Joe killing Haleigh. Now, the rest of the upset family, IMO, were upset because the coverup is about to hit the fan and someone close to them are going to be charged with Haleigh's death and the family members themselves may even face charges in the case. JMO.
