And the judge mentioned that as a concern today in court. Seems RH and the judge think alike. Must be something to it.

You gotta give it to da man, he knows what he's talking about... :)

Richard was saying this months ago, so he must know the MO very well. Unlike Baez, Richard knows his stuff. If I was in trouble and in Orlando there is only one door I would knock on and that is Hornsbys.

Unashamed plug for RH.

Pretty good ad too.

On the video it appears that KC is whispering something to Baez as they are leaving. Who on WS can read her lips? (My joking guess is "WTF have you done to me, Baez!"

Watching parts of the hearing again on tru[tv. Would someone please get a shirt that actually fits Casey?! You can see her bra at the neckline and she can't ever stop pulling on her shirts - ever! Just put her in a knit top and be done with it already! The button ups aren't working for her!

Casey's blouses are a real problem. The neckline on today's blouse was all wrong.

I say - Make her wear one of those "Caylee is Missing" teeshirts throughout the whole trial.

and a lunch lady hair net...hehe

Thanks! It was a bit intimidating at first, especially when I saw how huge the courtroom was and all the people attending. Now that I know the drill though, it will be easy breezy to go again to future hearings!

Steph, you did a sparkling job, thanks for the report back and your views and thoughts on the ground. I know you are expecting so we can't get greedy and expect to you to be at the next hearings...or can we????

The next one is on the 6th? How is your timetable?

:woohoo:

Hey...:) Not sure if this is the right thread...

And it may be totally old news or just bull...but I saw a comment on a KC story that seems well researched and very interesting, although, I haven't been current on this case...thus...could be nothing. I hope ya'll could let me know...

As I said, it's a comment, here it is...I leave it in your capable hands...:blowkiss:

This is a big problem. Makes the wrong notary stamp look like small potatoes. Maybe CM just can't handle the pressure of being a notary!!!

Kinda makes me feel almost bad for CA and GA. Here they are still supporting her despite everything..yet she cant even acknowledge their presence.

Yes, it creates more unsympathic feelings towards Casey that she can't seem to acknowledge her parents at all. Wonder if she is going to blame one of them somehow. Cindy looks like a groupie at a concert, IMO, and it's sad that Casey's boys get the fake smiles, but not even a tiny one for her Mama.

JP seemed VERY prepared. It appeared to me that JS had kept him up to date on what was happening on the case and he certainly said he had copies of all documents when asked if he needed them he denied saying he already had copies. I think when he asked about things he just wanted to see what the SA or JB would say in return and how accurate it was vs. the knowledge he had from paperwork review and word of mouth from JS.

It is my opinion that he has already decided to bring in jurors from other areas and sequester them there. He went on and on about various details on sequestering juries and the issues with selecting counties outside given witnesses residing in the immediate area having to travel.

MOO

I still think jb hasn't got the memo that COV isn't up to him---It is the Judges ruling....(please tell me if I am in error here)--every since this topic has came up he has been trying to fiugre out the best place for it....(i.e., Miami--who can forget those notes with kc drooling over the white sand)---I agree with all the money and such--keep them there--

why does he object to the sequester?

My opinion is this: if it's allowed, great. If not, the jury gets to go on a field trip to smell the trunk of the car themselves. Baez should be more worried about that than protesting the air samples. The Jury's own noses can't be disputed and they will know exactly what was decomposing in that trunk, and it won't be pizza.

I speculate that is why baez and company want to delay delay delay, in hopes the stench of death is less potent three years later.

My scheduled C-section isn't until June 28th. My daughter is in preschool Wednesdays - Fridays so during the times when she's in school I have nothing to do. Yes, I do plan on attending the next hearing as well.

I wonder if I could have taken video myself if I wanted to? When I was going through the metal detectors, we had to empty out all electronics in our purses and I realized I had a little video camera in my purse. I thought for sure they'd take it away but they didn't. Next time I think I'll try to get in a little bit ahead of others so I can make sure to get a seat on Caylee's side.

Good luck with your C Section Steph - wow will bow down if you get to the next hearing. Don't think you can take video action in the court room but before and after would be cool if you are able.

I was sitting in front of you. I was sitting next to the body language expert and the Anthonys came in and needed me to move over so the body language expert moved back a row. I ended up sitting next to Cindy's constant friend's husband. Cindy, George and the lady next to Cindy all wore "Caylee Marie Anthony" wristbands (white with purple letters). I sat behind KC. I was able to observe her ankle shackles. Cindy's knee was abouncin' nervously prior to the start of the hearing. Bill Sheaffer sat in front of me in the row reserved for attorneys. He and the strawberry blonde got caught up in chatting during the hearing and the bailiff had to come over and tell them to stop. While the bald news guy wasn't able to sit with the Anthonys this time, he did come up and give her a brief pat after the hearing. Cindy was doing her typical back-rubbing on George out at the elevators following the hearing. Going to the parking garage, the media reminded me of flies on poop the way they followed the Anthonys to their car. I did see KC's paddy wagon followed by a patrol car leaving the courthouse as I was leaving the parking garage. I spoke to the cameraman and he assures me that cameras will continue to be allowed in Judge Perry's courtroom. It was his opinion that the defense rolled the dice when they asked for Strickland to step down and they didn't bargain on getting Judge Perry.

Speaking of CM, did anyone else get the impression that he looked awfully meek sitting there today? I thought it strange that he didn't speak up once for all the bravado talk and the motion he filed to recuse JSS. He looked a little worried to me.

Also when hearing was over and KC was leaving it looked like she spat out an angry comment to JB. I need to rewatch to see if I saw what I think I did. Anyone else catch that?

mooo

BBM: YES! I'm really surprised, more of you didn't pick that up!

Watch part 2 of 2 ... of the trial today ... at 21:22 Baez says something to KC, I think he's telling her to acknowledge her parents ... say hello to them, for appearance sake. Right at 21:26 he tells her.

It looks like she responds with 'all right' ... then at 21:32 she says something to him, and is very upset. Beginning at 21:36, watch Cindy's face ... she's getting all excited, because KC must be turning around ... then she must say something to her or smile ... it didn't show KC, on the video I watched, just Cindy .. and she says 'I love you' to KC.

But surely .... KC did NOT want to do that, nor was it HER idea .. as you can see at 21:22-21:26, Baez is the one who looks like he tells her to.

MOO

A talking head who was in court this morning and interviewed on tru-tv commented that KC did not acknowledge her parents at all in court today.

Thank you Amil, I'm still trying to figure out where you were sitting. :)

Actually, Aha, think I have it now. You look very nice.

Was this your first hearing and if not how did it differ to the other hearings you have attended?

in the last hearing when she smiled to her parents as she entered, she was heavily criticized by the "body language experts", the spin was that that smile upon entering the courtroom meant she was excited and has no remorse, etc. She may have been told not to do it again. Although it would be nice if she would at least give them a little wave. I agree with your description!

But if you watch at 21:36 on part 2 of 2 ... you see Cindy getting excited looking towards KC, and then says 'I love you'. She had to have gotten some connection from her. MOO

I didn't know about the hearing and missed it, I was just running around doing nothing important, too! Rats. I would have loved to be watching it with you all this morning :)
