I contend if there were two cinderblocks there with yellow rope, then tommy knows what happened to Haleigh.

According to some, they say lots of boaters use cinderblocks for anchors, if true, then there should be a lot more than two and tommy's version of what happened to Haleigh is not worth anything at all.

I like how rc tells the story about JO, tommy, feeding the gators and getting rid of a body there. IIRC, rc was the one who told girls that the Dunn's Creek Bridge is the perfect place to throw a body and it would never be found.....hmmm.

I think LE thinks that all three know what happened to Haleigh and maybe some more that arein PCSO. The only one that is likely to give info is tommy, imo. Therefore, he gets leaned on the most. If everyone is worried and they don't want LE to mess it up, don't worry. If they don't lean on him, Haleigh will never be redeemed. To worry about them messing up is fruitless. This case has gone nowhere and if tommy doesn't tell the truth, we must all be happy with their sentences because that is the best Haleigh will get.

At this point, I don't care how LE gets the info (and I'm sure they don't either). The whole bunch of liars need to be hog-tied and thrown in the pokey for a long time.

If the cinderblocks were there and rope was there then that is half the story. I have stated I don't buy the ramp as a normal place to anchor but others have proved I'm wrong. I guess I'm used to docks in high transiet places where tying up to the dock is the norm. I had never seen a cinder block and rope used. We had anchors (they are not expensive). Obviously LE can't use the blocks as proof due to what others will say that people go the dock and dump cinder blocks as anchors. If that is true than there should be a lot more than two anchors (cinderblocks) found at Shell Harbor.

Aside from my chatter, I think Tommy's case was postponed due to the fact that LE is checking out another clue he gave them. We will see soon.

Whisperer, don't get me wrong..........I in no way want LE to stop pressuring Tommy. I want all of them pressured. I'm just concerned that LE is just pressuring Tommy because he is the biggest whiner and that they are focusing only on him. In fact, I wish that Teresa was also in a cell and then I bet we would hear some new news on this case............

Dodie, I agree in that there's an apparent absence of logic in Tommy doing anything to protect RC. Although there's some logic in him wanting to protect his sister, I believe Tommy Croslin is all about Tommy Croslin.

Ronald Cummings has been singing the "Joe done it" song for 17 months now, along with Misty and several members the clan. False allegations have been made ranging from "he's a pedophile", to alligators defying all known cold weather biological characteristics, all the way to guns that were supposedly stolen yet recovered out of hiding by everyone except JO, depending on who you're listening to.

I can't give much credit to anyone who falls asleep with his drugs at a bus stop as being the sharpest tool in the drawer, but I can easily see him deciding to join the crowd with what amounts to nothing more than the same old song, just a different verse ESPECIALLY if there's a potential prize of him getting out of jail to go see what's going on with his wife.

I agree Concerned Papa, I think Tommy would sing any song to get the heck out of that jail cell. For the longest time he talked with his father about his not wanting to pin a crime on someone when that someone didn't do it. Then he changes colors and immediately joins in on the most popular song being sung by his sister and Ron.

I think maybe everyone needs to reread the posts about Tommy's rights. I do know that I posted that I was pizzed that all of the jailed perps were not being pressured the same as Tommy is being pressured. I want all of them treated the same way in order to find out what happened to Haleigh. I want to read and see and smell and taste that Ron Cummings has been treated the same as Tommy Croslin is claiming to be treated. We don't know that Ron is being treated the same because he appears to be treated differently because we don't hear anything at all about him. Doesn't that seem strange to you??????? Really?????????? I want Ron's toilet to be backed up, I want no ventilation in his cell. I want maggots in his food. Roaches in his cell. Heat to 110 degrees...............Whatever it takes to bring this sucker to his knees. I want Misty to not have the priviledge to speak to her family. No showers, no honeybuns, no chips......................nada. I want them all to be uncomfortable and miserable until they tell what happened to Haleigh. I absolutely do not want Tommy to be the ONLY ONE who is pressured. I think he needs company........................
ETA: All this said, I would really be very sick for the rest of my life if Tommy were let go because of conduct of LE and detectives in this case. I don't think I would ever get over it if that were to happen. LE needs to be really, really careful that this awful thing can not happen..........................!

I agree, pressure needs to be placed on the heads of Misty and Ronald, too. I don't know why RC is a privileged character again (his prior records show an absence of punishment of any kind). Why does RC get to roam freely in general population because he requested it? Why are his jailhouse tapes not being released via Sunshine Law?

Obviously Tommy is the weakest link, perhaps even the one with less guilt, therefore more willing to jabber. He's probably the most fearful, the one with less bargaining power. RC has bargained his way out of prior troubles. TC probably thinks his only hope is to talk. LE knows this.

I also don't want Tommy or any of the others to walk because of a technicality, something LE did wrong. I'd prefer they clamp down on RC but I think he has more experience in playing games with LE. I think he has the most to gain by remaining silent. It's far better to be know as a convicted drug trafficker than a convicted child murderer. :cow:

They should round up the whole clan, but I think the grandmas are making sure they keep their activities clean after seeing the big drug bust. A real wake-up call, for sure. I'm not sure TN is a weak link though. She seems pretty much in the know how to handle LE, judging by her activities of early morning of Feb. 10th. Plus, she has RC to protect at all costs.

Trial may be put off until Tommy is sentenced. Wonder if they think that is pressuring RC? Wouldn't work, he likes jail, is not going to admit to harming Haleigh cause he knows he could get the Death Penalty.

I figure Ron will be sentenced before and if Misty goes to trail, his trial is only going to last one day, its not a case thats going to take weeks or anything.

I dont care if the Judge extended the time hes allowed to take a "deal", he sure hasn't extended the date Rons trial will start. Isnt his trial on the 19th or 21st of this month? His time is still running out, bottom line. I think he was truthful in telling Hope they offered him 25 years, and hes having a hard time swallowing that, especially since Hope "only" got 15 years. I believe Ron thinks he is entitled to that deal as well.

Actually, I don't blame any of these people for expecting lighter sentences. After researching Florida trafficking arrests, I think these lawyers are just wanting what's the norm. But I guess this is the price you pay for being involved in an UNSOLVED, high profile case. They can it stick to you. But as justified as it is, I can't help but feel sorry for Donna Brock & Hope. I personally know a woman who has been arrested numerous times, for the same things & worse. She spends a little time in county, gets her probation redone, & has been ordered to rehab once. then back to wheeling & dealing, & forging prescriptions, she goes.

The thing is, though, Florida is attempting to carry out their mandatory minimum/maximum sentences because they do want to crack down on the drug traffickers. They have to start somewhere and this high profile group is a good place to start. If judges look only at prior rulings they'll never move forward with the strict new crackdowns they are attempting now. I know I'd be quite leery to sell drugs in Florida after seeing new, stricter sentences. But that just me. I wouldn't be involved with drugs anyway and those minimum/maximum mandatories are mighty skeery.

Too bad Tommy doesn't think along the same lines. If he did, he wouldn't be where he is today, Haleigh or no Haleigh.

I suspect Werter is wanting to show that the trafficking arrest was because of Haleigh but it would be interesting to hear what questions Cone is asked and how she responds (without having to rely on media reporting, which can be iffy, IMO).

It's all about the drugs and that's why we can't find a resolution to this situation. Their first love is the drugs. Buying, selling, using, laying all over the place in purported residences, in the car, in the woods, etc., etc., etc. The families and friends of all involved all knew what was going on in their community. They had to! If they all get what they deserve, IMO, before sentencing, it should be taken into consideration that what happened to Haleigh was on their watch and that drugs were the focus, not Haleigh. She didn't just happen to disappear one night!

When Tommy gets out of jail, I want him to look at his son, (as a grown man), square in the eyes and tell him the truth about what really happened to his little friend Haleigh! I doubt he is capable of dealing with the truth.

Well, although you're right, I don't see any indication that Donna Brock or Hope Sykes had anything to do with Haleigh missing, so I would expect them to be treated like the average offender in drug court...& they dang sure don't deserve longer sentences than Ronald. & as for Tommy looking in his son's eyes someday? I hope his kids grow up & essentially forget about him. He was no father & didn't care about his kids. But IMO, it's Ron, who is going to need to look his son square in the eyes & explain what happened to his sister.
