Hi Beachy - I saw Cindy talking to Michelle Medina earlier so it might have been her.

Yes, I believe it was Michelle Medina - when MM came in, she had empty clothes hangars, she handed the hangars to a guard who handed them to Baez and he handed them to someone in the audience (Cindy I assume). At the end of the Hearing, Cindy was talking to Michelle and made motions like putting a sweater or coat on and asking Michelle something. I assume that Cindy brought clothes for Inmate Anthony to wear in court today.

I just caught this after JB's "Huge Waste" comment, he actually speaks of a script.
I am rolling here!

It is so from today's hearing. Exactly where you stated. LOL!

Oh Bless you FaerieB for capturing that moment and then uploading it as your avatar, how quick are you?! lol

How wonderful, every time I see a comment from you now I will be able to look at your avatar and remember the day Baez met his Waterloo. Stupendous!

bbm. ITA, darnudes. I get the impression, too, that Perry was obviously not impressed with JOSE'S CAPS LOCK SCREAMING IN HIS SO-CALLED PROFESSIONAL EMAIL TO THE PROSECUTOR WHEREIN HE PURPORTS TO BE COMPLYING WITH A JUDGE'S ORDER.

AZ can clarify I hope but I'm gathering that "in writing" in that situation meant a file pleading. The more I see of Baez, the less I want to see of Baez. Seriously, if his shoddy work passes as competent then whoa, who couldn't be a lawyer?

Yep. I bet JB experienced a bit of a weekileak....

Aww, I can't take all the credit. When I was rewatching the hearing, it happened to stop to buffer at that exact instant...and it paused long enough for me to capture it. It really was much better full-screen, though.

LancelotLink you're on fire tonight! I want to go back to watching the hearing but I'm having too much fun reading your comments. Thanks for all the laughs today. :)

Hey, right after that "look" by Judge Perry the camera cuts to Baez and he has a total "stunned mullet" look on his face, truly priceless! I think he knew at that precise moment he was in for a shellacking.

I was actually really surprised to hear him spewing his nonsense ("I don't know why we're here." "We're inconveniencing everyone because Mr. Ashton couldn't pick up the phone." (both paraphrased)) after receiving 'the look.' He should have known that HHJP was in no mood for his garbage, yet he couldn't control the verbal diarrhea. (I'm sure he thought, going in, that he would impress everyone with his witty remarks.)

holy carp, I read your post really fast and got a mental picture of Baez with a mullet. "Quite frankly, your honor, my hair is business in the front, party in the back."

Scary.

Judge Perry told Baez in no uncertain terms at the last hearing that his submission to the State was to be in "writing". Now as I'm no lawyer (I don't consider Baez one either) but I took that to mean as in a formal letter, not a snarky stupid email.

But I gather that a file pleading is what Judge Perry told Baez to do. Another reason for the Judges no nonsense ruling today.

--respectfully snipped

What should have happened is Baez should have turned over to the SA the discovery previously ordered (specific info on experts - and yes, the professional way would have been a hard copy instead of an email) then he needed to file a Notice with the clerk stating what he supplied. The actual docs didn't need to be filed, but Baez needed to file a Notice that he had turned them over.

This wouldn't have been a big deal at all if JB wasn't trying to play "expert by ambush".

Bwwwaaahahaha!!! I laughed so hard my son thought I'd finally snapped!

Thanks for that!

I got the impression that JB was trying to huff and puff and show the Judge that he was so indignant, and that is why he wrote such snotty emails to the Prosecutor. JB KNEW he should not have written those emails in that tone, and KNEW the Judge would not be happy with him for that unprofessional attitude. JB wanted the Judge to think that he wrote those childish emails because JB is just so frustrated with the waste of time that the Prosecutor is creating. Didn't fly with the Judge though!

Nooooooooooooooooooo...the part of the hearing at the end with Baez and the brolly has been cut.

Can anyone give me a run down of what happened again?
