Dr. Vass' testimony is fasinating. It would be so cool to allow it into trials.

I bet he's never had to write on a board in court before.
Of course, JB thinks he is hot $h!t b/c he frazzled a real expert (as opposed to his expert yesterday.)

That was the silliest, rudest display. What was the point? Could he not have asked him those definitions? That to me would have been the closest Baez would have come to Frye questioning.

A phone is ringing. Judge calls recess!!!! Who's phone rang. OMGosh

We will have to remember to ask Amil or one of the other WSers who may have attended today if they were able to ascertain from being in the courtroom who the guilty party was!!!

I feel that the judge was actually pleased when the phone when off to be able to call a time-out (from all the nonsense!), or whatever was going on there.

KC stands up to smooth her clothing. Grooming, fiddling with her sleeves all the time.

Yes ... waaaaaaaaaaaay too much primping ...

I think KC spends MORE time grooming herself than Lindsey Lohan did when she was in court ...

:puke::puke:

The white haired woman is Ann Finnell, a lawyer brought on to focus on the mitigation part of the trial IIRC.

and being the proverbial broken record, I ask again - why is she there for FRYE?

unless she's official JB keeper since Mason isn't there or something something

I truly can't believe that they are having JB do the science cross for the Frye hearings? I mean DCS was horrible, but she at least had some half clue. I think JB's entire concept of science comes from the Discovery Channel.

Heck if he had just printed out RH's blog as part of his 5000 pages and read RH's questions and concerns verbatin it would be better than this circus. This has serriously been like watching an actor who plays a lawyer on TV attempt to argue an actual case in front of the court?!?!

ok boys and girls...let's review!

we still have:
* Stain in car
* Heart sticker

* Spoilation of evidence (trunk odor/garbage)

we may yet get through:
* Exclude decomposition odor
* Chloroform

and we can check off:
* Post-mortem hair banding
* Canine alerts (postponed from evidentiary hearings) - hang on, we aren't totally done with this one yet (i think)

hopefully they are discussing this...

Error Rate & False Positive = Quite Frankly

He's back to asking about Error Rates and False Positives - aren't the Peer Reviews that Dr. Voss keeps referring back to essentially just that?.....Error Rates and False Positive results?

Am I going in the right direction on that? Any Scientists or attorneys that can answer that for us?

and being the proverbial broken record, I ask again - why is she there for FRYE?

Maybe Mason since he is the DQ attorney is worried that JB might get thrown in jail so someone needs to be there that Mason trust. So much for Simms

Okay this "talking head" on InSession is saying the chloroform possibly came from the pool???? WTH? Isn't there a big difference in chloroform and the chemical used in swimming pools???

oh thanks, heard her name but never saw her.........mmmmmmmm
why is a mitigation lawyer there up front and center?

She is part of the defense lawyer and someone seems to have to be with ICA to babysit her all of the time. Ann does not look too happy with the progress of these hearings. (understatement of the year) Or maybe that the team's "lead attorney" is making such a "poor" showing.

Comments dummied down because.....:ufo: you know who lurks here. :great:
