All she does is try to talk them out of the DP

Okay, a fine picture on cnn - but Ms Finnell is still up and she seems to have bogged down.

Time to go get busy, since AF is up. I'd rather shove bamboo shoots underneath my fingernails than to have to try to listen to her 'ho-hum', lull me to sleep, monotone, "that make sense?" interrogation style. Anyone feel this way when AF is up? yawnnnnn ....

I thank all of you that keep us updated as to what is going on with the prospective jurors! Thank you! :)

She repeats over and over and over, plus she has that tone in her voice, and constantly with that "that make sense?", I could shove that microphone down her throat. JB must have hired her because he thought HE wasn't irritating enough. :maddening:

These jurors are asking for mercy at this point. The SA too. Throw in the judge. And us too.

OK. Has the state offered a plea? I wouldnt think so but maybe i missed it.

I did catch that. It was as to the 'mercy' issue that AF insists on asking every juror whether mercy could have an impact on their decision re death sentence.
I think.
I think at one point the judge had to even remind the DT that their client plead NG.

Can't take age into consideration as mitigating circumstance.

He doesn't think age is a mitigating factor. Whether you are 16 or 18, you should know right from wrong. CJBP is intervening.

"whether you're 18 or 67 you know whats right or wrong" ---- OOOOO I am starting to LIKE this guy... he has some BLACK AND WHITE thinking..... works well for the State!

still here
People don't sit around thinking about the death penalty all the time - don't they get that?

Well there's at least one young woman who does. But I don't think she'll be serving on a jury anytime soon:floorlaugh:

"Whether your 18 or 67 you know whats right or wrong" PJ having hard time with age as a mitigator. HHJP schooling PJ.

Mercy should not have a place in determining punishment in a court of law, IMO. Mercy is not a legal concept and there is no fair way to apply it.

AF's mercy question is causing me misery.

ACK...age question again!!!!

:gasp:

There is no way anyone can convince me that ICA is not heavily medicated. I have not seen the expression on her face change in the last hour.
