Judge is not changing his sentence. I agree with him. I totally feel for this poor lady, but HHJP has an obligation to this case as well and all of those PJs etc that waited so long for their turn at the bench. moo

I think this has to be done today... HHJP is going back to Orlando and since he's the one that sentenced her earlier, he needs to be the one to do it now.. Apparently in Pinellas county, she needs to have her lawyer present.. So she gets a re-do.... I think he's still going to sentence her the same.

HHJP: gives you a right to council. Why should your client not be held in contempt. She uttered the words she killed somebody anyway.

MW: can she gives answers?

HHJP: she said she took meds, she was apologetic, normally I would give 175 days and the fact that she was remorseful. I have reopened the proceedure.

My finance, I love him and I did not take my meds this morning, no food or water or toilet paper in the cells. Sorry for what I had done.

I had taken the methodone but not the other meds.

How are we going to fix a two year abuse relationship, I didn't think at all and sorry.

HHJP: in a free society is a free trial, to see what goes on in the court room. One of the things we must be aware of you do not have a right to stand up in the court room such as miss rodgers said in this case, that you killed somebody anyways. That indicates some forethought to think and realize that she was in here in a case involving someone who is alledged to have killed someone. As a result a juror had to be excused. Mindful of the fact of what you said and mindful you suffer from bi polar it does not totally excuse. If you were anyone else I would not hesitate to give you 179 days. I gave you two days and I took everything you have said here and I see no justification to change that sentence. I see you in contempt of court and sentence you to two days. Thirty days from date, public defender for purposes of appeal.

But that didn't involve having a juror be excused. With what this lady said, they had to excuse a potential juror.
