During Baez's opening, I'll probably be frothing at the mouth at some point. I've decided not to post at all during his opening, or even after, because I know I will probably cross the line.

Sorry to mention it but I too have heard the possible theory that the tape was placed after her being left in the car a bit to prevent 'leakage'. Then it wouldn't have been the 'cause' of death.

The Florida Court of appeals has already ruled that applying duct tape over a mouth and nose have only one purpose and that is to cause the victim's death.
Read Huck vs State of Florida for details. He had the same argument and it won't be allowed here either....

Newbie here....please be kind! I have lurked for years and finally joined. I have followed this case since Day 31 and can't believe that finally the trial is here, and there will be justice for Caylee. The opening statement was riveting.

Welcome Peachy - so great to have you here! We're always kind. . . well most of the time (when it comes to the DT). In this opening statement I'm just gonna keep quiet! No sense in making a fuss, when I really already know what the outcome is gonna be (IMHO).

true, true. Whomever she randomly picks did it then. What i really meant was that I think the nodding was kind of a tip off that the defense is going to use some sort of SODDI tactic.
