I have to agree with you TH - the one thing that was just astonishing to me was the line in JBs opening about Lee Anthony and when Lee was asked if he was the father and Lee's answer was That will be discussed when it is appropriate.........leaving the subtle idea that Lee is Caylee's father. But if I am not crazy, and believe me after this case I may actually consider myself such, wasn't there evidence that he was definitely not the father? I thought DNA was done on them and it came back that Lee was not the father.

Or am I crazy already?

I thought the same thing. But now he seems to be saying that because of flaws in the investigation, that fact will not come out. :waitasec:

again, he has not been on the stand.. at this point imhoo it doesn't matter what he said to media, his lawyer etc...

today in opening statements in front of a world watching Baez accused him

I am sure he will say something on the stand soon or his lawyer will...

(((just wondering why he needs to deny it "publically" or even via his lawyer... when Lee has tried his best over the years to stay out of the media)))

Agreed. I'm trying to figure out what LE was alluding to. I'm beginning to think nothing.

wonder when Lee will be up on the stand.

:cow::cow::cow:

The biggest "SHOCK" today for me was when JB said in opening statements that GA had his "p****" in ICA's mouth when she was 8 years old" ... This statement made by JB still has me SHOCKED !

I mean really -- using the "p" word -- it was like a "SHOCK AND AWE" for me -- I was NOT EXPECTING THE P WORD !!

I believe JB said abuse started at age 8, but the oral sex reference was referring to her at age 13?

I was shocked they accused GA of being there when Caylee died. I didn't see that coming. I haven't watched GA's cross yet, but if I read correctly he met with JA yesterday. I found that shocking!!!

Not so much a shock but a "moment of confusion".....

For all of JB's I-Pad flashing, text message sending, social media affection, crime forum cruising, our experts are old school technology excusing, and pocket square peacocking ......

He resorted to a dry erase white board with a dried up used marke,r instead of commanding use of the smart boards and courtroom technology.

Was he perhaps afraid of another "ananlysis" goof?

JB will only be able to prove that KC did this and acted alone. What he did for me was today was show that they have NO defense for KC.

I am still in shock over the Roy K thing .. and him supposedly having Caylee's body ... and the HUGE cavernous GAP of when George supposedly scooped Caylee's lifeless body out of the swimming pool, then did WHAT with her???? Left her out on the curb for Roy K to pick up and dispose of? RK being a complete stranger to the Anthony family!!!

And Baez thinking the jury is going to believe that Inmate Anthony asked her molester father to help her, and George did .... and just leaving the story to trail off from there .....

Also, since GA is an x-cop, he would know the police were going to fully investigate everything....even the average person knows this....but if you were in law enforcement yourself you would not go the cover-up route. He would not be so stupid. Also, if he did cover it...why... because he was scared of Cindy?

Not shocked at the claims of drowning or sexual abuse.Par for the course.
I was blown away the JB was dumb enough to add the Roy Kronk scenario. Why not just include aliens ,too?

That Baez was even worse than I even thought he could be. Salacious lies and accusations, along with other lies blatantly spewing out of his mouth . . . sexual abuse nonsense.

AND the good shock being that George stood up to the idiot and brought honor to himself and Caylee. He and Cindy put out a statement about it all being lies, so Cindy is not on board with this either!! About time we see that they are on the side of justice for their Granddaughter.

Respectfully, I don't understand why so many people are shocked and bothered by the 'p' word. A 'p' is a 'p'... it's the anatomical/proper word for that 'part' -- It's not a 'dirty word'. Baez didn't use some nasty slang word, he used the word a doctor would call it. Why is that shocking and inappropriate? I'm not defending the DT, I just think the hoopla surrounding that particular word is uncalled for.

Hi Crucibelle! I wasn't shocked or bothered by JB's use of the word penis itself. I was however bothered by the abrupt crassness he used to try to portray Casey as an incest victim simply to create shock value with the jury. As a survivor myself I do not believe Casey's claim against George, and that is highly uncommon for me to discount a person's SA claim. Someone who is truly sensitive to an incest survivor would/could have gotten their point across much more effectively and appropriately by stating something along the lines of, "This young woman here today, from the age of thirteen, had to experience the horror and trauma of her own father coming into her bedroom at night, getting into her bed, and touching her in ways that no father should ever touch his child..." You get the point. But as I said (and I'm convinced now more then ever) this is nothing more than an attempt by the defense to get Casey off.

I was surprised at how well Jose B. did in his opening statement. He had that courtroom fascinated about what he was saying. He was better at giving his opening then the prosecution was today.

I was shocked that a FAMILY member finally came to Caylee's defense. Kudos to ever counseled GA.

I am not shocked at all by the word itself. I was a little shocked that JB actually said George's was in her mouth. I am pretty sure that Casey has had lots of them in her mouth, I just don't for one nanosecond believe that George's was one of them.

Voted for other: my biggest shock was when SA Linda said F*CKING!!!

I missed Baez's opening statement, but I anticipated it to be a bunch of bunk! Have not caught the "his pen*s in [Casey's] mouth at age 8" yet (OMG)!

Whoa, wait a sec... she dropped the f-bomb?

My shock not at what the state did but at how GA responded. I was worried he was going to go along with it. He didn't and I was pleasantly shocked.

That he did, and the whole world is abuzz with it tonight.

Not that I believe everything he or his client are claiming, but, as Cindy once said, "Casey sprinkle's some trueth into her mis-trueth's".

Same could be said of Casey's attorney it appears...
