I know I want explanations!!! There is so much coming from the DT that doesn't make sense, not to me anyway, so I can only believe the jurty must be confused also.

This is the same thing as opening statements not being evidence. JB can say an alien from Mars crashed on Earth but it's not evidence to the jury.

the defense, nor the state, cannot ask "whatever they want"
and they cannot imply facts not in evidence

Yep, the more he asks about it, the more it appears he is fishing for someone to slip up and answer "yea I was there". Reminds me of his fishing expedition of TES. The jury will be just as we were, appalled by it.

Agreed 0 the SA really has to ignore that theory all together and keep on focus with the evidence trail they have. The evidence will prove out this theory is nonsense later on when they start talking about cell phone pings.

If you look at the cell phone/computer log reports, there is not a single time span that shows up that Caylee could have drowned or that either GA or ICA could have covered it up.

The SA will completely blow this theory out of the water - patience is not my best virtue, so I understand the concerns. I'm screaming at my laptop monitor the whole time JB is asking this .....I could never sit through one of these in court. I'd land in jail for contempt.

The SA needs to start asking if the witness was present when ICA drugged Caylee with chloroform and wrapped duct tape around her face.
 
Is there a live video-feed of the trial online with any news organization or anything?

True but as a juror it's going to stick in their mind that the one person they accused of being there they didn't press on the issue.

I'll have to say when I first heard a while back she claimed sex abuse I thought that could be true but lots of peeps have been sexually abused and they don't murder their kids!

I think I would lay my head low to if anyone ever accused of me something like that. The embarssment, anger of knowing I didn't do it and how Baez Directed the penis comment I'd want to spit a few bad words at him . It has to be tough on George facing everyone after those comments. I'm one who doesn't believe she was sexually abused. Example when Baez said that the lady sitting in front of him almost twisted her neck to see him. People are quick to believe things without facts.

WEll I think duct tape represents a pretty solid COD in and of itself, but I know what you're saying. The SA taking a slow and steady approach, building brick by brick - it'll work

The defense is definitely establishing that no one else was in the house - so by doing this, they can't bring up SODDI. They're shooting themselves in the foot before they get the gun.

Maybe that's why SA isn't protesting.

Three pieces of duct tape slapped to a two-year-old babies face is enough evidence for me as to the cause of death and I think the jury is going to agree. The State has all the forensic evidence on their side to prove that Caylee did not die accidentally, imo. Caylee was in that trunk decomposing. They are not going to believe for one moment that George basically framed Casey. They should have said it was simply an accident... left everything else out... and said she was scared! Instead, they had to add a bunch of ridiculous subplots to a story that didn't need any. They went for Shock and Awe... and they did get it... but now what?? It has worn off and we are back to where we started... the State is going forward with their case as planned and they have nothing to refute the massive amounts... even if it is circumstancial evidence... that points to murder!

Keep reminding the jury of that ridiculous story, Jose. The more you do... the more the jury is going to want PROOF!

He was embarrassed, I dont blame him. Not necasarily a sign of deceit.
I believe KC threw that out there to get pity. She seemed to allow him to watch Caylee alot....to me, that does not make it believable.

I interpreted that as George trying to control his anger. I'm sure it must have been very upsetting to be accused of molesting your child in such a public forum, and George is known to be volatile. I saw him as taking a second to control that anger and then I felt his response was very believable.
