No, they didn't. But remember like any profession you have good people and bad people. JB isn't the norm, most in the legal profession are bright and thoughtful people. Perhaps many attys have inflated egos but that doesn't make them bad people. Many of our our presidents were attys. The point is that our founding fathers didn't want people to be strung up and hanged without a trial to be heard before members of our peers. Although I wish this trial didn't need to be held this is ICA's right, and I don't deny her that right.

That is the second timeline given by Casey referencing June 15 being the last day. Nine days from June 24 counts back to the 15th. That blows the June 16 drowning right out of the water, IMO.
