how can the blogs go into evidence....if they havent even asked him if that his posts?.....anyone could have found out that he posted here and then took the name dick tracey and posted else where.....they dont even know for sure if its him....just going on what jb says is him.....

yes....i know he posted here....im just wondering how they can bring those post in as evidence with out confirming its him

I might just be a nerd, but it really bugs me that JB refers to this forum, and Dick Tracys posts, as "blogs". It's a FORUM, Jose! Not a blog! :banghead:

In other news, there is a tornado nearby, I just heard, and I'm furious at mother nature that I might have to miss some of this!!!

JB wanted to inquire into YM's supervisor reprimanding him for blogging. Feels it's wrong for any Det. to go on the web making posts about the investigation.

HHJP keeps asking for specific posts that reference this case.

9/22/08 - this thread is for well wishes and support only post. HHJP reads it into the record. (Great post!) YM's reply - thanks can't talk about the cost outside of work, nor can I put an end to theories or conclusions..... Dogs trained to retrieve remote. (HaHa).

JB says there are points he references being involved in the case, what it's like, Caylee Anthony. 9/20/08 - 11:40 a.m. - HHJP reads - YM says also ty for keeping Caylee on the forefront..... I can only hope we find her soon....

JB agrees most posts are general in nature. JB thinks YM shouldn't be doing this. HHJP agrees YM shouldn't be doing it, but they have to look at specific blogs that go to anything that is impeachable.

JB refrains from addressing this issue at this time. If he decides to bring it up later, he will make Court aware, the specific blog, and the case law.

JA asks for a complete set as the copies were messed up.

JB will not be allowed to question Det. Melich about the WS posts.
 
next Jose B is going to try to impeach everyone on websleuths whether or not we are subpoenaed-just because judge
 
How come Baez isn't being reprimanded when he clearly violated court rules? He was sustained and kept on going. Why not contempt?
 
Sorry, but I think it was really stupid of Yuri to register and post here. But, we're all human and we all make mistakes in life.

Thank God this judge is so very, very sharp in having already read about such issues.

I'm still having some trouble here so I haven't looked, I hope MSM has has the good graces to mention that this all happened while Yuri was home with a broken leg - not while he was actively working - never once did he blog about the case - just thanking us for our well wishes for a speedy recovery!

If trial by ambush is not allowed, then how is it that JB keeps trying to side swipe like this? Bringing up stuff that was never shared with the SA, etc...?

...didn't they have to list their "evidence" in discovery...or does that just go for the crime...and not impeachment of witnesses. What's wrong with Baez? Why waste all this time??!! He just looks really bad...even to the jury. They're not going to think what's up with this guy (JB)?

I almost peed myself laughing when HHJBP was reading some of the posts out loud. Between that and what he said and what JA said in response, I almost felt sorry for JB.

That was a great demonstration of knowledge of the law by both the judge and the prosecution.
