With Heavy Heart...Over the weekend, my cousin's 2 year old grandson was found lifeless in a swimming pool.

There was no covering it up, the mom is beyond devestated and won't be having a night on on the town for God Knows how long, and he was immediately taken to the hospital even though it was too late to save him. THIS is what happens with an accidental drowning...

As a lifelong Floridian, I've heard these stories before, never has it touched this close. If there happened to be any unreasonable doubt left in my mind about Casey Marie Anthony, it's forever Set in Stone now just how much of a Monster she truly is.

our heearts truly feel for you too RieverRat... but truly, indeed, THOSE reactions mentioned in your post, in our and most all opinions.. no matter what the circunstances, that is how one would act facing such an accident... you hit it on the nails head... no partying shopping bed-hopping could possible be explained away with a mother as cold and callous as ica has been seen to be... there is, in our opinion, absolutly NO grief or sadness whatsoever in ica's face, eyes or otehrwise... all sadnees, grief and incredible loss has been from all others.

I keep thinking , why doesn't ICA do the right thing for once and just stop everything and tell the truth. Even now she could rescue the situation to some extent.
Was it CA's birthday yesterday?

I think ICA is still waiting for everyone else to fall in line .
Maybe even an apology from the SA's and a movie deal about how she was wrongly accused. :loser:

PS, my power keeps going off, they apparently have trouble down the line. Which is fine because I have air card and a fully charged lappy and back up lappy. It means my printer and fax and office phone are down( Vonage) so I can watch along guilt free.

ITA. If I ate that stuff for breakfast, I'd be :Banane13: before noon I'll have two eggs, over medium, with a slice of dry whole grain toast. Bon Appetit!

At a loss of words for River Rat. Condolences. I can't imagine, since I have a two and a three year old. Simply heartbreaking.

There is a current case in St. Louis MO where a man who's been in prison 29 years may have his case revisited, all because of one hair. Not death-banding, but at the time, the hair was considered similar enough to his that it was allowed into evidence, and now they want to do more thorough testing...

That wouldn't surprise me ynotdivein - because as the hair banding expert said on Saturday, hair evidence is about microscopic examination and must also be examined for DNA. Those two examinations together make up hair analysis, not just one or the other. I don't believe DNA was yet used 29 years ago.

I have a feeling this is the child I read about on a friend's facebook page yesterday near MB. The child had been transported and they were asking for prayer. I am so sorry. Prayers for the family and everyone touched by this child.

Quick question just to make sure I understand something: When the SA presents their case the DT can only cross on what was discussed correct? Is it the same when the DT presents?...oh and one more thing...Do both teams already know what will be questioned? Sorry so many questions
