JA: remember when your deposition was taken by Mr. Baez
Dr Vass: the inquisition you mean

LOL he called his deposition the inquisition

Explaining diffusion - chemicals go from an area of higher concentration to lower concentration.

I don't think there could be a more relatable and likeable witness unless it was Caylee herself.

JA: was getting a contaminated sample the reason you asked them to go to a junkyard
Dr Vass: absolutely

Can't believe this guy is a proponent of divining to find decomposing bodies and even fossils(?!). Baez should have pushed him on that. Would have destroyed his credibility as a scientist. The jury may be buying Vass' testimony but I'm not, especially given the state of research into this type of air analysis.

It helps to read the background on the divining rod issue and the leashed flies.Makes a lot more sense when you know what happened,IMO.
JB is hoping to get a reaction ,just by mentioning these two issues, but once you hear the backstory ,"it all makes sense !"
JMO:crazy:

Clearing up Febreze issue.. and Bluestar issue.......... no chloroform.

typing with my nose now but have to thank all wsers for their remarkable restraint during cross-exam of dr vass

No chloroform in Febreeze - there goes the excuse for having a nap while the dryer is on.

I am an analytical chemist very experienced in quality control and I think there is a lot about Vass' research that is questionable. I'm happy for the prosecution that Baez completely screwed up his cross though.

There you go - the oleic acid did not come from butterfat.

The "I Can't Believe it's Not Butter" defense has been debunked.
