I cannot wait to see those Home Depot tapes-- you just know they're going to have chloroform makings and gear. Good grief, she's not going to sleep well tonight!

Everyone's talking about this Home Depot video?? I am lost on this?? I have no idea what this is about? Can you please explain it to me??

Good link to bookmark to see who the jurors are when reading tweets about their reactions :) :

You're not lost - we just heard about them the other day. They were not previously released but we're hearing there are 4 - 2 prior to Caylee's death and 2 after. There has to be something extremely incriminating for them to be withheld for so long...

It was in some late discovery. We haven't seen it. Supposedly, it captures Casey on tape. Does anyone remember if she was with anyone?

I don't think that has been released. Must be sealed. I am anxious to see it though b/c we have not.

Is there anyone that can sum up what happened in court today after SO testified? I was out and about, at a couple of different places today, so I'm totally lost. Exactly what was covered via computer forensics? Just the chloroform searches?

They were in late discovery.

When LDB asked if "that meant there were several browsers open", does that mean the same thing as tabs being opened" I took it to mean that.

Also, one of the jurists is an IT person. They will totally understand all the tech info I would expect. Therefore, it can be explained to the jury when they deliberate.

Just a headsup..regarding HLN..(know some dont care too much for the TH's)..but I am floored, almost all of them are simply flabberghasted with this Computer searches and evidence, and give JB A for effort..but NOT inpressed with his results by his cross....

Also, one of the TH's stated ( so not sure if its correct:waitasec:)..one of the jurrors is a "Techie" who will completely understand the significance of this testimony....Yikes..Me thinks Im going to go grab a cocktail and celebrate!!!..Oh ya..Kudo's to Mr. Bradley fellow Canuk..Dry maybe..but POWERFUL YEPP!!:great:

:great::great:

The TH's are always "lagging" when it comes to news ... WS has had info about the computer searches and evidence for :waitasec: almost 3 years now ...

:great:

Did anyone catch the last feed before they escorted ICA out?

She seemed to be pretty animated about something and it looked as if JB and CM were just blowing her off.

She was talking and they ignored her. Horrible lawyers both of them.

Ouoting LyndyLoo from the closed trial thread:

I'm not a techie but IMO if you stayed on the websleuths.com front page all the time it just shows as one visit but you probably visited several different pages and different threads within websleuths and those would all show up in your history.

I don't know from the user end, but I do know that on the website end, there is a lot more tracking. Websites can track how and when you access the site and what your "bounce rate"- how long you typically stay on the site. Websites also will typically track each click you make- so if imagine you're on a retailer's site- and you click a category and then you click a shirt and then you move over to a different category or an About Us or something like that- that's all very trackable and helps websites with their marketing. They know that if you click on one thing, you have a high likelyhood of clicking on this other thing, etc.

For a site like Webslueths, because it's VBulletin software, it tracks slightly differently. On a regular website (say a retailer), you might click on the "home" button multiple times in a visit and it's counted more or less as the same visit. On most VB sites, when you hit "New Posts" or "reply" it gives you a unique url at the top of the page. Each one of those counts as it's own unique visit.

That long boring explanation aside, I'd be VERY interested in knowing what Casey's bounce rate was for each of the sites she visited. I'm guessing they can't track that from her computer or we would have heard it today :( I'm hoping they can though :)

Thinking out loud:

I'm not sure how long a duration of time chloroform would knock a person out. I would think it would depend on dosage, but...still, I don't think it's effects would last very long. Doesn't seem like a very effective "babysitter" to me. On the other hand, this chloroform habit search bugs me. Maybe that was just a "whim" search. I don't know.

I think JB doesn't care if he loses the case, he's gotten the publicity that he wanted...he feels important when he's cross-examining witnesses and that is all he cares about. He ends court each day smiling and happy- even though he clearly makes a fool out of himself each day. NG had a segment where she showed how he takes pics outside with female 'fans'. THAT is what he cares about. He questions each witness about their desire for money or notoriety because that is all he understands.

BBM

I could not possibly agree more. He doesn't attack logic because it isn't something he uses. You are absolutely correct IMO.

Can someone explain to me whether they are saying she clicked on these links or not? Was all that dribble from the witness to hide the fact that it was ONE page with a million links on it to sick twisted stuff?

OR

did she actually click from thing to thing after it would "pop up" (for lack of a better word) on each page??

She clicked. She typed in "how to make chloroform". The jurors are as confused as you are which is not good for the prosecution's case.

Does anyone know the name of the site ICA visited 84 times? I'm kind of scared to go there though.

YES, please. You have to take a look. She was so animated, never covered her mouth at all, and her face was showing, it was not just a side view. She was very upset.
I do not know how long it takes for WFTV to put up their raw footage but I saw the exchange on WFTV after the judge called recess for the day.

I really want to hear what she was chewing him out about. I am guessing she was upset that Baez did not say there was no proof that she ws the one doing the searches or any proof what time the searches were actually made. imoo

I watched this on WESH, and they still had the Casey Cam down in the corner. She never stopped running her mouth at Baez and Mason for one second. They appeared to be ignoring her, but she just kept on. Does WESH put up the videos the way WFTV does?

If so, it is really worth going back to see. When Ashton was blocking the main camera, you could see Casey flying off the handle and really giving the what for to the atty's.
