AL's shows clear contempt and disregard for the work of Dr. Vass.

I wonder if AL has ever walked through a sniffer machine at the airport?

And.....her comments about KC not acting right and as we would expect.......a motion that has been used over and over.

An aside.....I need to go back to see how many times AL reminds us that she is not a part of the DT and is not privy to their line of thinking.

ME thinks that she left NOT out of financial concerns....but because she had a MAJOR disagreement with the "plan".

Please do and Puuullleeeaaassseeee on that she's not privy. She knows every in and out on the case and bailed before she went down with the ship.

Interesting that AL just stated that she was NOT ON THE DEFENSE TEAM ANYMORE.

Do I not recall that AL stated she still remained available for consultation on the case.....and JB supported that statement?

I am not positive that I ever heard her say it but I know for a fact that JB said that she would remain "fully accessible to us if we need her at any time."

If she's as selfless as she proclaims, she would be, regardless of whether the state will pay her or not. Not knowing the woman, I don't know if she is still consulting, but I would be surprised *if she wasn't. Like I said before, those who do this because they truly believe it is the right thing to do (and it is a VERY tough job) would not be swayed by the money as long as going in the hole doesn't interfere with their ability to save the client's life. As a mitigation specialist, your client getting life in prison is still a win. Your job there in a DP case is to save the life of the client, not necessarily keep/get them out of prison.

Can someone refresh my memory about CA saying she did the chloroform searches?

Except the Jury remembers JB's OS, even though I know it isn't testimony.

Right....which is why she would have to say that everything she said was a lie, even to her attorneys, with the exception of the accidental drowning. That's the only thing a jury might possibly believe, coming from her....that she lied.
I just can't shake the feeling that the defense has another 'bombshell' in store that is going to completely destroy the capital murder claim. Something like this would definitely do it.

She clearly takes issue with LKB.......

I will wait until the transcript is released and them do word count.

Of course she is because what better time to capitalize on the case than right before mitigation????

The DT is trotting out all of their "big guns" on the eve of the SA resting their case. Gotta bring out the heavy artillery against the prosecution because the defense has nothing. Nada. Zilch. jmho

And then AL falls back on the "I can't comment on that" because she is/was a part of the DT when she doesn't want to (or can't) answer a question . How convenient.

"She'd have to put it in the woods" IT IT IT..Nails on a chalkboard.

Can anyone tell me whats up for tomorrow? I was gone all afternoon. Is the state done now? Is the defense up? Are they on at 9am est? How did it go today?

OMG. Dr. Drew needs to stop throwing his theories out there or he might find his name on the Defense witness list.

She said she knew GA had the tape for sure. To me the bigger throw GA under the bus statement was when she said they all switched cars and GA and CA drove that car often. Hopefully she is just trying to tell the truth but that did not help...

Yeah see I didn't hear anything else for myself...and I don't have the stomach to listen right now. I just hope the DTs theory comes off as absurd as it really is. Someone said they think the DT is going to insinuate he is a molestor who had something to do with her death. I agree...I think they wanted touch DNA on her shorts to see if GAs dna was there...which it could have been innocently if they hadn't been underwater for months

Sociopaths are charming and can be a lot of fun, but are verrrry dangerous.

I really believe that AL left once she realized that the DT was going to move ahead with a "strategy" that she did not agree with. I also take note of the fact that she left just a day or so shy of the new FL. laws that prohibit counsel leaving midstream in a case.

I am happy to hear your perspective. I think many folks don't understand mitigation.

I don't know if you have reviewed the AL thread but i have some really great info in there.
