That bull malarky yesterday from CA just shows she knows NOTHING about computers. Here at work we use an email program called Lotus Notes. You can set your "trash" to be deleted daily, etc.

BUT out IT department backs up our entire system nightly, which tapes are stored in a valut. That has your entire E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. on it.

The IT guy from Gentiva has been on the SA witness list this whole time. That means whatever data he has was probably preserved as well in case he needs to testify if needed. The SA was prepared for this and IMO, LDB was mad that they would have to go there yesterday, but they have this covered.

My 2 cents...
I was involved in litigation several years ago. Our attorneys admonished us about what to wear, how to act, what expressions to show/not show, hair styles, make-up, you name it. Everything was carefully orchestrated all for the benefit of the jury. Nothing sneaky about it. Both sides do it. That's the way it is during litigation.

After stepping away from WS for the past hour, I have decided that LA was not fake crying. The question is WHAT was he crying about? Any theories fellow websleuthers?

I honestly think Lee broke down because he knew THEY wanted him to propogate the lie that Casey was abused by George... I think they wanted him to say that he didn't go because he was afraid it was George's baby. I think he broke down because he just could NOT go along with the lies and by not going along with the lies, he was sealing Casey's fate with the needle.

bbm

That's how I interpreted it.

Weren't the Anthony's given some type of immunity quite some time ago . I can't remember.
Just wondering.

According to this article Lee was, but sometimes reporters jump the gun.

At one point, there was concern that Lee Anthony may be charged with obstruction of justice because of contradicting statements he had given to sheriff's investigators in the past. Now that Lee Anthony has been granted immunity he does not have to worry about that any longer.

that is so sad...

If anything good can come out of this, LA does the right thing, doesn't go along with the farce and brings the family down.

I think all of us would have a bit more compassion for him.

I disagree... if the accident was the result of a family members neglect or inattention, that could potentially land someone in prison, they would try and cover that up... I don't doubt that at all. JMO.

How would a child getting out of the house and falling in the swimming pool and drowning potentially land someone in jail unless they covered it up or held her head under water? If the child accidentally drowned and when they found her they had of called 911 this would have all been over with.

Really curious about your thoughts on that.

That is strange. Why no lunch with Cindy and George? Still a divide?

he did just basically testify that Cindy's story about the baby shower and whole family excitement over the pregnancy (including LA) was not true

((according to him))

I don't care why he was crying. He has all the information needed to end this expensive farce right now. Has he divulged it - no - instead he's part of the show

Yeah, I agree that a family might do this, especially parents. Especially ones who have spent their lives covering for their child.

But admitting to an accident and getting a relatively light sentence would be far better than a cover up, because cover up gets you a murder 1 charge, and possible death penalty. Surely ex-LE George knew this, but again, people are completely strange under duress and don't always do the right thing, IMO.

so the SA can only question him on the car, and ICA's pregnancy...correct??

I think they should ask him if the stains in the car that were there when he had the car smelled like the horrible stench in the car that Lee said permeated inside the house.

This case is getting way off track and it's no longer about Caylee's murder. Somehow they need to pull this back to Caylee.

Lee is either laughing or crying...very strange.

IMO

You mean the guy who directed the investigation of the kidnapping of Caylee who appointed each person to their roles was a non-entity of the family?

The guy who took over the whole family when the most horrible of horribles happened.

The guy who told everyone to refuse LDT.

This guy is acting and I would not doubt for a minute he is still directing.

Dr. Fessel, you have the impressive ability to drag me back to reality.

And if the State had actually investigated this case from the beginning they would have seized all that info... but I feel the SAO and LE failed miserably with this investigation... they drew a conclusion too fast, and now it's coming back to bite them.

LOL - The State spent an extraordinary amount of time, human resources and money investigating why a little not quite 3 year old child ended up dumped and ducted taped in a swamp.

Those people that were on their hands and knees scrapping that swamp out looking for the tiny little bones of a child - MIGHT - disagree with you that they failed miserably in their investigation.

I think it's pretty disgusting to cast aspersions on all the many, many, many hardworking LE personal who sweated out blood over this case, but that is just my opinion.

I think it's very telling you don't hold to task the ONE AND ONLY person responsible for all this.

Just took a short break from this stuff. I'm afraid we keep getting caught up in the Defense smoke and mirrors, song and dance, red herring and distract-them-from-the-evidence crap. Because that's all this is.

The family thought Casey was pregnant or not pregnant?
Caylee shorts were in the Anthony home every day?
Lee upset that he wasn't included and didn't see Casey in hospital?
Cindy searched for chloroform and chlorophyl BUT NOT 84 TIMES?
Cindy remembers being at home when records show she was at work.
Cindy remembers a youtube popup 3 years ago about a skate boarder's 'neck breaking feat'.

Doesn't matter. They can't get away from the 31 days, the 84 searches and "it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car."

Now I'm gonna take a longer break.

BBM

Your point is my point, all of it actually, but especially the bolded parts. First, how can Cindy remember a pop-up ad from more than three years ago? Cindy can't remember what she said in each of her testimonies and depos, but she can remember one little pop-up ad from 3 1/4 years ago! How stupid does she think the jurors are?

Most importantly, 31 days, parties, lies about Caylee, tattoo, computer searches, DUCT TAPE, smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car.

Regarding the stains in the trunk testified by Cindy and Lee, are they now suggesting the prior owner of the Sunfire once had a dead body in that trunk, and it just began stinking in 2008? :loser: Yeah, sure, Caylee was dead but it wasn't her body in that car. :waitasec:

The way I see it, the defense wins either way you look at it. Do you want to believe they would lie to cover up a murder back in 2008 or that they are lying to cover it up now?

I hate most everyone on TruTV save Mike Brooks and Mike Smith...and maybe Vinnie...sort of like...but this body language expert they are about to speak with...in the red dress with the dark hair is awesome.
