Thanks for all welcomes!

My hope is justice will be done for Caylee Anthony. That poor girl didnt stand a chance in that family.

I can NOT believe CA was doing the chloroform searches. I have observed the Ants may not be the best spellers or grammarians, but neither chlorophyll nor How to Make Chloroformcomes up in MY Google searches with the auto-type feature on. Chloroform does come up by typing in chlor about 4th in line, but no words "How to make...". Is it possible she selected chloroform by accident? Perhaps, once or even twice, but not 84 times. But then the actual phrase HOW to make chloroform is an issue, as that exact phrase was typed in the Ant's computer.

I honestly think CA's dog was ill from ICA practicing using chloroform on the dog, as a poster mentioned earlier. THAT makes sense. What would chloroform, acetone and alcohol have to do with bamboo and a sick dog. Bamboo, BTW is not toxic to dogs, per several searches, and bamboo does indeed contain chlorophyll. And why would SOMEONE delete those searches, but not others? CA did not know how to delete, so I heard.

Oh wait... I see you wrote maybe CA was searching because of her suspicions. Hmmmm.

Did anyone catch Cindy saying (rubbing) alcohol can be quite expensive. I can get about a gallon for a buck at the dollar store.

:floorlaugh:

That was good. However, it's not MY fault those 2 can't get a job. Why are they sucking on my tax dollars, or the Floridians tax dollars? Hey George, get a job at night. Cindy? Lee?

People say "oh, they need to attend the trial, oh, they're the grieving grandparents". GMAB. They can do what the rest of us do - watch the evening recaps (unless they have to testify of course).

Will they continue to be on disability once the trial is over? This can't go on forever can it?

The whole lot of them make me so darn mad. Between the cost of the trial, and paying for the entire family on taxpayer dollars seems quite wrong.

MOO - please and thanks.

Mel

Seems a little harse to me. Put yourselves in their shoes wouldn't you want to be there? I know I would. As far as working perhaps they're notoriety prevents that. Not to mention the daily turmoil that they must be going through. I don't like them anymore than you do but I still can empathize with them and the situation they're in. JMO

Obviously I am WAY behind here, just coming on to catch up. I just really don't think any of the A's should be allowed in there at all. This is not anything personal about THEM at all... I simply don't think ANYONE who is being called as a witness in ANY case should be allowed in the courtroom where they can hear the testimony of other witnesses before theirs is given, that's all.

However...that said, in THIS case it really wouldn't matter since it is being televised. If they weren't allowed in, the A's could still sit right in front of a comptuter or TV and see the whole thing. (And take all the notes they wanted, too.) The only difference is they couldn't see the jury and their reactions.

It's too bad we can't have sequestered witnesses! I do think it's possible Cindy Anthony based on the evidence presented could've come to the conclusion that it was likely Casey was going to be convicted, and decided to act on those feelings (and change her testimony) to try to help Casey.

She could be the next America's Top 40 Hits weekly countdown radio presenter with a name like that.

In radio announcer voice: Casey O Mason and the dingo...Big hits in the mooorrrrrniiiinngggg.

<modsnip> I am thrilled with all of our new posters and great ideas and opinions.
<modsnip> there are posters here who have studied all the documents ,interviews, transcripts and hearings for almost 3 years now,<modsnip>.If you have only recently started following this case, you may have a very different view of the Anthony's,the defense, the SA's and the surrounding cast ,in this case.
If you've only followed it in the media ,well, they often get facts wrong.

It's a LOT of info to cover, but definitely worth going back and studying ,if you really want to know this case and what's going on.
Cindy Anthony's depos are particularly interesting, especially the one with Morgan and Morgan in the Zeneida Gonzalez civil suit. You will see a very different CA than what we've seen at trial. Her depo with the SA's is interesting also.
They are a very complex family and created this 3 ring circus ,along with JB,IMO.

You just can't make this stuff up!

Maybe those who have been here awhile should compile a list of the best or most important documents/videos to look at . Any takers?

Rather than rewrite the bible on this case I think a great place for folks to start is at this site:

http://www.acandyrose.com/caylee_anthony_directory_index.htm

acandyrose did the most outstanding job of putting together some very important information including:

  • 31 day detailed timeline
    Casey Anthony statement and interviews
    Transcripts
    Live trial stream links
    Who's Who
You tube links (NifterMedia is the best IMHO)
It took me hours to get through some of the info, and I had already covered most of it on my own before finding this most awesome site. I refer many to it, and they only say thank you. It doesn't lean one way or the other (it's not pro or con -- simply provides the evidence known to date).

A huge thank you to acandyrose!

Perfect !

:yourock:

ETA: I'm certainly not suggesting that just because you are new you shouldn't have an opinion. I hope I didn't come across that way !

Oh no, I don't think you suggested that at all. I just wanted to make sure people knew this wasn't a "caysey anthony is guilty" or "casey anthony is innocent" site. It's really non-bias IMO.

Perfect for those who want to get up to speed. But it will take a long long time :) Once you get sucked in it really is hard to look away!

Huggers!

seriously is there even a snowballs chance of perjury charges against CA?
...I wish

LA's testimony and ICA's reaction is so strange to me. Every time I see it again, I can't help but feel something is very very strange.
Mainly I can't keep from trying to figure out ICA's reaction. ICA was genuine crying even down to facial twitching. If you only watch her during LA's testimony, she seems to feel bad FOR Lee, which is unique for ICA, indeed.
But what's also so weird, is as she is listening to LA, at some point she gets a scared wide eyed look on her face- when he is being questioned about why Lee was angry. Like she thought he was going to reveal something she didn't want him to. Then he didn't, and she resumes crying FOR Lee again. Anyone else sort of analyzed ICA's reaction during LA's testimony? I wish I knew what it was she was anticipating him saying.

I doubt the video (which I can't find the link now) of the start of his testimony would ever constitute perjury. If he and Dr. Bass discussed it as he testified, before it was in existence, he could consider himself a "co-founder"/"co-developer" etc.. He and Dr Bass "built the facility and they began the first research together" (paraphrasing).

I would have to hear Dr. Bass say "He didn't co-found the Body Farm! It was all me!"... I haven't heard that yet, so until I do, I doubt he violated any laws with his semantics on the stand. JMOO

Kathi Belich from WFTV did get this straight from Dr. Bass. At about 4:35

Even thought they are who they are, I think that Cindy said she is on disability for emotional/mental distress, which I think has to be real. Who wouldn't be a mess, learning what she has learned (even if she tries to block it out) over the past three years? And what employer could take on the circus that would inevitably come with hiring any of them?

BBM

If this is indeed fact, than I'll bet CM is the only one that felt "duty bound".

CM - the only attorney on the defense respected in the legal community. The only one that has the unblemished record.

JB - CLEARLY did NOT want to go forward with whatever the problem was yesterday. His body language could NOT have been more telling. He practically begged CM to drop the whole matter and was completely dejected once they came out of chambers.

Now, whose testimony?

My bet is Cindy.

My big thing was both CA and LA's testimony about the trunk stains being there when they bought the car. In the past 3 years, there's been sooo much talk about the trunk, the "outline of a body", trunk liner samples, etc....why NOW, all of a sudden, there's 3 stains that were already IN the trunk when they bought it???
IIRC, GA was talking about a "basketball size" stain in the trunk(???) in one of his interviews.....but, NOT that it had been there "originally".....it was there AFTER they picked up the car from the tow yard. If ANYONE would have remembered "other" stains in ANY trunk, IMO, it would have been GA....he supposedly took up doing the maintenance of all their cars....

I think CM couldn't take the lie...JB did NOT want to go into the room to talk about things with JBP....AND, his whole attitude during the Dr. F issue first thing in the morning was bizarre.

The WHOLE defense team looked like they were going to the firing squad or had that "deer in the headlights" look, IMO. I don't think I've EVER seen that defense table soooo somber. And it seemed that JB was somehow, IMO, at the crux of the issue. If it had something to do with the SA, I would expect JA's ears to fly off his head....and he'd be all over the place.

During the first trip into "the room"....both DT/SA in there....KC is looking at the screen, reading along...then says either "wow" or " that's bad"...it's at 28:23 (give or take).

I watched those trial video's about 10 times....looking at body language, etc...expressions....it seems that CM is talking "toward" FG....BUT, it seemed that FG might have commented/made a facial gesture about something to CM first....then the arms folded....but, just my interpretation.

I'm really hoping after all this, that things aren't just back to normal on Monday....like GR said....LOL
AND, if he's gettin his info from JB, we KNOW JB won't be bad mouthin himself to ANYONE!!

Their reaction looks like something big is going on and they do not look happy. Every time the door opens where KC is, the 2 female DT's jump apart and look at door like they don't want KC to hear what they are saying. The other male DT looks nervous. While this is going on, CA reads a text and looks up at GA with clear surprise on her face. GA looks at it and says OMG. CA gets up and leaves

How could they prevent ICA from seeing what was being said? I guess to keep her from blowing up on camera? Obviously they had to tell her???

I'm perplexed!

WOW - you are SO right. I couldn't figure out why ICA was sitting at the holding cell - but it makes sense to me now. SO SHE COULDN'T READ THE TRANSCRIPT! Oh this is getting good :) Especially your comments on CA & GA (which I didn't see).

You rock!!

...I wish

Maybe it depends on the rebuttal ,although most of our legal eagles say no.

If not ,perhaps that Courthouse Hawk will follow the A's home and scare the %^&* out of them.

Happy Birthday? How old....? C'mon, tell us.............:bdsong:

acandyrose...is a good one. Also, I got most of my info from the wftv website. After I read all the documents (my poor eyes will never be the same), I went back and watch all the televised hearings, which were to me, every bit as interesting as the trial has been. Plus Baez gets some good smack downs. A must see is the hearing when Andrea Lyons was arguing why the death penalty shouldn't be used in this case. Sorry, I'm no good with links, but I think is was in ????2009. Maybe someone else knows exactly when.

Who is FG?
Never mind, is this Frank George, the other prosecutor, the only one I like? :) I always forget his name.
