I do remember reading about Cindy sending him off one day to pick out jewelry and we were all wondering jewelry for what... IIRC at the memorial service GA made a comment about having something on his person and Caylee would be with him always...JMHO

How does CA think she can get away with her convoluted lies involving her work hours? I understand the nature of the excuses she was trying to lay out there, essentially saying Company policy was to adjust daily work times reported to avoid Federally mandated overtime pay. Aside from that being against the law, I get it. It's not a terribly complicated scam to follow.

BUT (LOL, always one of those with this outfit, eh?)

According to company records in the possession of LE, EVERY week surrounding the time of the computer searches (3/17) had overtime! Not just once or twice, but E V E R Y week! AND, on the day in question she worked TEN hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm!

I don't think I've ever seen a more clear cut case of perjury so easy to prove that a first year law student could nail her on it.

The State's rebuttal is going to be interesting to watch.

Yes, Tuesday was the 17th of June in '08. So that would mean someone was in the pool the night of the 16th or during the day of the 17th. I'm trying to find CA's calls for the 17th. But of course the 16th fits much better with the new story (not so new really, I think her brother tried to convince her that this is how it happened from day 31).

wait now I am all confused, what date was fathers day? B/C I think they had a big fight (CA and Casey) after she got home from her visit to Mt Dora, regarding Casey ripping the GP off, etc So then CA, Casey and Caylee all jump in the pool together that night? Nah... So if the fight happened AFTER they went swimming, how did Cindy manage to remain civil to CA, civil enough to swim w/ her? Cos I can just see her b****ing at CAsey in the pool- Casey would get out of the pool, she wouldnt stay there and listen to her moms bi*****g. Then again, its all about appearances so maybe Cindy chose not to speak to her about it outdoors- the neighbors might hear!

Am I wrong or did'nt something come out (I think Lee said it) about CA and Casey having a HUGE fight Fathers Day evening- and didn't Brian Burner say he heard shouting and lots of the F word?

I seriously have lost the ability to keep up and I thought I had it all straight, but to be honest sometimes I wonder if I didn't have a dream and just incorporated what I thought I knew w/ the dream.

Dunno. I have lost half of my mind thanks to this case. That I DO KNOW.

I am very familiar with cremation jewelry because I have lived exclusively within the military community for not only almost two decades but over 10 years of those were lived during the war(s).

To be honest I think nothing of it. I knew someone that had a small bit her Husband's ashes in an absolutely beautiful necklace and she said it was so that she could "always have him close to her heart".

But we each have our own opinions. That is what makes WS so interesting

Ah, thank you. Now as I wipe the noodle juice from my hair. My opinion is that CA HAD to finally acknowledge the smell. She knew someone else, Simon Burch, other than an A knew about it and figured she'd make the call. You don't wait to call 911 when a family member is removed from a pool, blue and not breathing. You also don't wait 31 days, find a vehicle that reeks of death, then wait another 7-8 hours while you try to find the driver of said vehicle that reeks of death. You don't make not one but two calls to 911 and neglect to mention the said vehicle reeks of death.

One does not wait to call 911 for a possible drowning or a vehicle that reeks of death after they have occurred UNLESS you have something to hid.

There has been so much effort, by the defense and the Anthony's, to get rid of the chloroform evidence. I would like to believe that Caylee was not conscious when the duct tape was applied. IF the defense is successful, in providing doubt about the use of chloroform, the jurors are left with the duct taping of a child that was not drugged, but most likely alert. This amounts to a much higher level of cruelty, IMO, and could very well push those jurors, on the edge, towards a DP sentence.

No, not unless you have followed every moment of the trial - even then - you aren't in the courtroom and can't catch the nuances of watching the person "live" give their testimony.

"They" say that 80% of communication, and thus credibility, is from body language and vibe, and is unspoken.

Which by the way does not mean your input on the board isn't just as important as those of us who've been stuck here at Hotel California for at least a couple of years....

When I had some free time today, I went back and read the police/FBI interview of Dominic Casey.

With all we know of how the Anthony family predilection (and Baez!) for taking a small piece of truth, then creating a story with a slight change of characters to suit their needs, I can imagine Kronk being a "stand-in" for Dominic Casey.

Re-read that interview, check the time-line, and join me in being suspicious of the entire lot of them (Baez, Casey, Cindy, and D. Casey).

George is the only one I am willing to cut some slack!

I think Casey tried to fire someone and the judge gave her the weekend to think about it. They got her to agree to the cooling off period and canceled court so going against her wishes would not affect her rights to counsel.

Come Monday morning she will tell the judge if she wants to go ahead and fire the person.

I may be all wet but here goes. Before the opening of court on Sat. the door opened and CM was in the holding cell with ICA. Either CM requested to see her or visa versa. If CM requested to see her, he may have asked her to fire him, since he cannot just leave. If ICA requested to see CM maybe she wants CM to take over lead council. Personally I think it is the former and hopefully tomorrow we will find out WTH went down.

That CA - quite the gal, really. First she is able to twist events to fit a kidnapping and the existence of a real Zanny (who owns a white dog as proof) and now she's right here making another set of facts work for a drowning.
If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be funny...

Brilliant point! Maybe LDB needs to point all that out in rebuttal. It would certainly show the jury just how CA lies to fit the story of the day!!

She didn't Tulessa - she waffled on which day it was from her original depo. Originally she thought it was the 17th, 18th or 19th, but Friday she said it was the 16th.

LDB challenged her and then confirmed that Caylee would have been unable to lift the ladder up herself and hook it onto the side of the pool.

Baez is trying to infer that the ladder was left up on the 16th, that Caylee went up the ladder herself ( which is what the pool/ladder/Caylee/Cindy supporting her pictures were about) and apparently fully dressed got into the pool and drowned. And oh yes, was able to open the sliding patio door which is always latched, by herself.

And I have solved the puzzle of Caylee's missing shoes!

They came off in the pool and George must have fished them out when he was doing cleanup later and put them out in the garbage can in the alley or wherever stuff in left for pickup.

LDB made a big deal of CA calling GA to ask about the ladder. I know she did this to later prove that there are no records of CA calling GA from her cell or landline that day.

However, I REALLY wanted LDB to ask CA if she called ICA to ask about the ladder. No one has asked her as far as I see. If they did, and CA said she didn't ask ICA - they should ask "why not?".

I also really wanted LDB to ask CA to tell the "ladies and gentlemen of the jury" if she still has her pool up in her yard - as we all know she does. Yes or no answer only please!

And if she answers truthfully, LDB should just turn to the jury with one eyebrow raised and simply say "Thank you Mrs Anthony, no more questions"

I have a theory. I think they are going to 'evolve' their theory to include George framing Casey for the crime. They have to because otherwise it makes no sense. He would not have put her in the trunk, or put her so close to home, or used duct tape and then kept it and used it on camera in the tent unless he was trying to frame her. So imo they are going to drive the bus over George and then back up and go over him again.

He did already say that. GA framed Casey for Caylee's murder. That being the reason for the duct tape.

Cindy would not permit ICA in the pool when she got there as the pool was tto cold and caylee needed to get out. YOU betcha! ICa stormed off and CA followed. IMO she never put the ladder up that night..
CA was hot about the stolen $ and ICA got what was coming to her...
I guess ICA did the same to Caylee...

Cindy testified about that night of swimming. I remember clearly this next part because it showed us how controlling and annoying she must have been.
She testified that she and Caylee were playing happily in the pool. Then Casey comes home and said she wanted to join them in the water. BUT Cindy then said NO, Caylee was getting cold so she told Casey to take her inside and change her into warm clothes.

I had to laugh because my dear mom is kind of Cindy like, and this was kind of transparent behavior. Why not just let Casey join them and share some fun pool time. No, Cindy denies her, and orders her to take some responsibility as opposed to joining in on the family fun. Maybe that is my projection but it is the way it hit me when I heard her testimony.
