ETA: HLN says shortly after 1:00.

I'm watching noon news on WFTV on tv right now and they are telling us it will be back at 1:00 and they will continue with their gavel to gavel at that time.

Sorry for o/t but it is nearly 3am in the morning and I've just had to call the police as someone was trying to break in via my screen door. I've been hiding in the bathroom with a torch and a phone waiting for the police to get here.

5 policeman just arrived and the person trying to break into my house--------------> was a possum!

Very happy policeman no break in
Very relieved although highly embarrassed (cos I'm in my pajamas) me
Very scared possum still attached to my screen door by its claws and refusing to budge.

I've never been so scared in my life!

Crimes and trials happen every day, but few are as high profile and in the media as this one is. I can't imagine trying to live a normal life while being under constant scrutiny. It's hard enough to deal with the death and possible conviction of your own child as a murderer (even though it's deserved). Sorry, I just have to disagree, it would be very difficult emotionally to concentrate on my job while all this is going on. Some people might find it easier to go to work and distract themselves from it all. I for one couldn't, we all deal with things differently.

I agree she thinks ICA is guilty (which I think is the minority thinking here). I think she wants to save her. She testified that she did searches up to a point. She didn't go all out and say she did all the searches that were found, which has been glossed over but I think is important.

Perhaps in her mind she don't think it was intentional, but yet once it was done ICA didn't take responsibility for it.

I'm still on the fence about whether an actual affair took place. I do think George was being honest with his testimony, I guess if they were to come forward with something more concrete than just her word I'd be swayed.

So far what they've shown doesn't prove that he actually had a physical relationship with her. I just don't find her credible.

But if it's true he definitely can't fess up now...

I based my assertions on how they appeared and sounded as they testified, but it was the content of the texts that pushed me off the fence.

What is your take on the texts? As I mentioned, I am not a techy tech, so I dont know how viable text "evidence" is, or if it is at all credible.

I do understand the concept of texting as far as the general mechanics of it all and can certainly envision that it'd be dang hard to prove who pushed the keys to send a text, unless I had it on zoom lens video tape and had a busload of nuns watching and witnessing George texting and hitting "send."

but maybe I'm over thinkin it; bc then I have to get into who owns the phone, who has access to the phone yadda etc.

The content of the text that I saw seemed intimate to me - IF he sent it.

Not exactly. It is based on the disability itself and not the cause. I'm not sure she's getting it from the government though. Many employers offer disability insurance as a benefit for their employees. She could be getting it from a private insurance company.... although if Gentiva has been watching and sees she was falsifying her time slips (if that's true), they might pull that. JMO

LMAO! I can sympathasize with you, while laughing at you as well. I was in the same situation years ago.

I was on the phone around midnite, and heard noise. I just knew someone was breaking into my house and told my girlfriend so. Finally decided to call the cops. Hiding in the closet the whole time.

Turned out it was my neighbor trying to break into his own house, lol.

I dont take your words as bashing at all; Quite the contrary, I'd agree with your post and assessment of Miss Holloway. I'd even add it seems not implausible or even probable that she may have had intent as a blatant opportunist who possibly deliberately set out to seduce George.

But just as an example to illustrate a point, if someone is a, "people-user" and a drama queen, that person may not have intended to become enamoured of the person with whom she seeks to create drama;

but, again, for example, George is not a bad looking dude...

(imo) He chose to engage in that behavior -- (if he did, and I believe he did.)

And yes he was vulnerable and likely in need of who knows what.. diversion, ego boost, comfort, fill-in-the-sordid-or-non-sordid-blank.
