I hope someone here can answer this question before my daughter comes unglued!

She came in from work tonight, frantic, asking if I had heard about the woman coming forward saying her son is the one that died and that he is Caylee's bio Dad.
The woman said she is more than willing to take blood tests.
The woman got together with the Anthonys and they both compared stories and everything/time-line fits.

I asked daughter where she saw this and she said everyone was gathered around the TV in the break room at work.
She said she had to go to the break room several times during an hour and employees were still watching, glued to the TV.

Please, Please tell me what daughter saw was a repeat of a 2.5 year old tv show like Dateline or 20/20.

Daughter's fear is that if this is true, in her words "Caylee will never get to rest in peace, Mom!!!"
 
WOW Amity! Just WOW. I've been waiting for something like this to happen, but Id hoped it would come out in the trial. Wonder if/how it will affect..
But how will this prevent Caylee from resting. In peace?

Just popped on to try and catch up again, and apologize for the earlier post in the closing arguments thread. I thought I was on this one. If anyone feels like giving a quick recap, I've been camping since last Saturday. I did see a few mins of RK on the stand while at the general store, someone was accusing him of being vague. I think.

I can't believe this is almost all over already!
I'm so frustrated that so many details were left out and there are SO MANY unanswered questions still. :( I wonder how many jurors (or hhjp) will come on here and read after the trial..?
 
ugh - I can't sleep so I'm all over the internet. Didn't see anything about baby daddy's family coming forward.

Yes, this is true. A woman started watching the trial on (I think) June 11. Memories started coming back to her of her son telling her back in 2007 that he'd had a daughter named Caylee and her grandparents were Cindy and George Anthony. She said he told her that the grandfather was a cop.

He never told her where the family lived. He apparently did not live with or near his mom. The conversation came up because she was saying something about having a grandson and hoped to have a granddaughter one day and he said, you already do.

He died shortly after that conversation and never had a chance to tell her anything else and not knowing very much information she was not able to learn anything further. NG interviewed her on the phone earlier this week.

She has offered to take a DNA test to see if Caylee is her granddaughter. Mark Lippman was on NG talking about this the other night and said she had contacted him and it sounded to me like he just brushed her off. He said she can contact law enforcement and have a dna test done since they have Caylee's DNA. As of that interview with NG, Lippman didn't sound at all like the Anthony's were willing to even give it any thought.

If your daughter saw a show tonight/today that said they had met with the Anthony's and compared timeline, then that is something new that has transpired since Lippman was on NG.

I heard this same story also except I never heard that the Anthony's met this woman. I heard she is willing to do a dna test but noone has agreed to it.
She sounded sincere, but who knows.

they is a picture somewhere of this guy at about 3 his hair is blonde and he has his head turned to the right sih IIRC and there is one of Caylee hat i think- haven't compared them they look like they are borther and sister... but would be daddy and Caylee,

Yep, I was wondering when someone 'in-the-know' would come out of the woodwork but I never dreamed it would be this!
My daughter has been very emotional over the whole trial, the killing of a beautiful baby girl.
Daughter feels if someone comes out to claim Caylee, there will be even more of a circus atmosphere than we've already seen.
Daughter feels there would be more court, maybe law suites, who knows.
Daughter said with all that going on in Caylee's name, Caylee will not be able to rest in peace.
That's the way she explained it to me anyway. I can sorta see her point.
All this we've all seen going on for the last three years, thinking it was almost over. But if someone comes out saying they are Caylee's 'other family', imagine what's going to come out of it. Probably more circus atmosphere.
I feel the Bio-Dad had every right to know his daughter and another set of grandparents should have been allowed to get to know their granddaughter.
But coming in at the eleventh hour, it just screams "here we go again" to me.

And I soooo agree with you.....so many unanswered questions!!!

I don't usually sleep at night....maybe a couple or three hours. So this trial, me getting up at 5 in the morning has really cramped my style. :)
Something tells me I won't have any trouble sleeping once the verdict comes in.
At least I hope....providing the verdict is what we've all hoped for (as opposed to a hung jury).

OMG....EEEK is right!
I had heard and read many stories about Caylee's Daddy being in a car accident and even Casey wrote on his memorial FaceBook or MySpace. But that guy was Hispanic. His family got an attorney and that attorney spoke for them stating that they had never known their son to have dated Casey.

But now another young man who also died in a auto accident could be Caylee's Dad? Eeeek!

I kept telling her she was wrong, or that she was watching a very old TV show on the subject. Ooopsy.
Just when I thought things would finally calm down......no more media blitzes by people who want the notoriety and/or the monetary gain. Now this.

How horrible to find a link from a son who is deceased to a grandchild who was murdered. Caylee Marie might have been spared some misery had there been another set of grandparents fighting for her. So many lives twisted into this sticky tangled web spun by ICA.

Oh my....thinking of it the way you wrote it makes the whole situation even sadder than it already was.
But from what we know of the A's....mostly Cindy.....I don't think she wanted ANYone else to take a claim to Caylee. That would be she would have to share. [/FONT]

Can you imagine how CA would have reacted with another grandmother on the scene? I shudder to think how that would have gone over.

I also doubt she'll want anything to do with this woman or finding out whether or not this is in fact Caylee's other grandmother. She'll have to share the media attention. IMO

If it were me, and it were proven to be true, I'd want to meet her and share pictures with her and tell her all I could about the granddaughter she'll never get to know.
