While I wouldn't give props to anyone with that "killing for fun" attitude, either, there are always two sides. There are people out there who genuinely believe they are fighting for the freedom and safety of all of us, and who are willing to lay down their lives to do so, if necessary. To them, I have no problem giving props.

However, I could be biased, as my son is literally deploying at this very moment.
Oh of course.

I just don't automatically fall over myself to thank someone for being in the military. Not that anyone actually does that, I'm just saying it doesn't garner automatic respect from me.

Though my perception of the matter is probably different from an American's. That's fine. I can understand America's pride and it's certainly deserved.

No text here. I'm finding annoying vinnie from IS to be most reliable. I think he just discovered twitter because he tweets some carp.

I cannot find the live feed link to that. Does anyone have it?

When I click on the CNN link I get some lady talking on the Department of State or something. I don't want to hear politics today.

I'm sure it has turned them off. It turns me off and makes me block out much of what he says. Comments that he throws in like the "cut the cheese" thig does the same thing. That was so childish and immature that it completely discredits much of what he says. In general though, people that are overly dramatic tend to cause me to tune them out anyway.

I think he came up with that because he was jealous that Ashton had gotten a big laugh with his "pigs in a blanket" comment a couple of weeks prior (that I wasn't thrilled with either, but it was one of those things that you could tell from his previous questions that everyone was thinking, so he just came out and said it).

Baez is childish, so he had to try to one up him. :loser:

since we were talking about JB’s antics I just want to say that in reviewing Sunday video I think I need to send JA to my bedroom as punishment for teasing JB

And my hubby thought he'd have me "back" this week! :floorlaugh:

HLN on tv and sitting here with my laptop on WS just so I don't miss anything.

I hope the verdict comes back soon so I can get on with my life! Lol! :loser:

I am at work. Physically. I'm constantly checking for email alerts & reading this thread. Thankfully, my boss has been out of the office most of the day so far.

When I have not been reading here, I've been checking websites on how to fix hair color disasters. I was blonde yesterday and gray today. Not a good look for me ... lol.I love being able to pop in & out here catching up! Thanks all.

Is your hair bleached? What color did your use? You may have to strip your color, add a gold fiiler and then a color with red or orange..

Do they charge you for this?

Gotta remember to Baez - it's about HIM - not ICA.

Bill S told a story this morning on WFTV. He said throughout the earlier stages of the trial, Baez would call him personally to complain about things Bill S was saying about him.

Not about ICA, or her guilt, or the evidence against her, or anything to do with Bill's opinion of her guilt or innocence.

Just what Bill was saying about HIM. :loser:

Bill S. said he explained to Baez that the fact was, he was now under contract to WFTV to do legal analysis - for better or worse - and that is what he was going to continue to do. He said he told Baez that - sorry, he wasn't under obligation to follow some unspoken "code of defense attorneys" and say Baez was doing a great job when the exact opposite
was the truth.

Maybe that "unspoken code" explains why the vast majority of TH's that are/were defense attorneys keep spouting this complete and utter BS about Baez?

Thank goodness there are a few that have the courage to break that code: NeJame, Eiglarsh (for the most part), Hornsby (most of the time), and one or two that NG browbeats into admitting that he is just plain awful.

Site Where Caylee Was Found For Sale: A realtor says buyers are already interested in the lot on Suburban Drive. http://on.wesh.com/ldC24n

Mods, not sure if this is from MSM. I think whoever posted is affiliated with WESH. I'm sorry if posting this against TOS.

I don't know if this is old news, but check out the article. Especially the part about what the land is valued at and what the seller is actually asking for. It seems ridiculous to me.

I'm just sick about what those jurors must be going through right now. As I've been watching this trial I've been secretly wishing I was on the jury because I think she is guilty as sin. I believe in the DP, but now that I try to put myself in the jurors shoes, would I be able to actually sentence someone to death. As a Mom I am having a hard time wrapping my brain around a Mom actually planning and then taking the life of her child. UGGHHH!!! IMO she is a terrible Mother and person in general, but did she MEAN to kill her child or was she trying to drug her so she could go out and party? OMG, I cant even take myself to such a dark place, it makes me physically ill. Oh well I will quit rambling now. I just pray Caylee will get justice.

When I first woke this morning I was struggling with the same thoughts. BMB

It is so hard to comprehend a mother doing this to her child, yet, we know

it does happen. We cannot comprehend it because we are not

capable of it.

I can't comprehend stealing 100s of checks from my mother.

I can't comprehend stealing money from my aged grandparents.

I can't comprehend partying and torturing my parents and those worried about Caylee for 31 days +.

I can't imagine the stress KC must be feeling right now. Everyone, even the lawyers, will be ok no matter what the verdict is. They all have their families, careers, FREEDOM. It is KC and KC alone who will really suffer. When I begin to feel a little sorry for her I think of CAYLEE.

We will never know how Caylee really died or how she felt during those last moments. Chloroform may have been used to make it painless but I'm not sure. KC could have used it to try and clean the trunk after the dirty deed was done. During the DP hearing KC grabbed her wrist while Ashton talked about how Caylee may have been restrained.
I think Caylee may have been restrained physically while 3 pieces of duct-tape were placed around her little face.I can imagine her saying " Mama, are you angry mama?" Gosh sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo heartbreaking.

In the 20/20 segment on Diane Downs, last week, a psychiatrist noted that Sociopaths do not feel anxiety or stress at all. This is why they can lie so easily and feel no empathy for anyone.... other than themselves....Makes sense to me, as we are all shocked at what her demeanor has been from the beginning....Totally Unfazed !!

just looked at facebook and all those people seem like strangers to me now...

but if any of you know Jose Beaz’ Big White Coloring Book on facebook...I love the picture of the phantom stain

Someone...if you see my name ever again during a trial such as this....PLEASE remind me to stock up on groceries beforehand. I have no pasta, no potatoes, no NOTHING. I found some old tater tots in the freezer to go with dinner last night, thank goodness.

The problem is, "What if..." is a legal tactic for which the truthfulness doesn't have to be asserted.

When defense lawyers, or even a prosecutor, accuses someone of being a pedophile, it ripples out to everyone in the family. People do not live in a vacuum. Slimy lawyers besmirch others without giving a damn how it affects everyone involved, because their goal is to divert or mitigate. Truth is irrelevant; it must be. I get it. That doesn't mean I can't think it takes a certain kind of someone to get the job done.

Again, I do not think slimy lawyers are sociopaths. However, I maintain there are some similarities, but that's the nature of being human. It's my observation that we humans have more in common with each other than we'd like to believe, even sociopaths.

That's just my opinion, and well, we all know what opinions are like...

But if we dont have law and order then what option do we have?? Someone has to judge, prosecute, or defend thats our system. I just sense a lot of people coming down on hard on the law and lawyers but dont offer an alternative.

Also, lets say Casey gets life in prision or the death penalty. Then dont we celebrate the law and how justice was served?? Didnt most on websleuths herald Ashton as angel and speaking for Caylee. Am I to be so jaded to think that Ashton and Linda are just self serving people who care only about themselves??? Cause if it applies to the defense team then the same must be for the prosecution as well?? right?

Just like in the hood. Everyone hates the police and they are pigs, but once some crackhead breaks into your house then OMG call the police!! Or down with the military, but if the Taliban lands in Texas then OMG get the Army down here now!!

There are good lawyers and bad ones IMO, but I try to get in their corner most times cause I know its their job and one day you may never know when you might be in court. Or someone close to you.
