Did CWW have a college degree, do we know?

Sent from my KFJWI using Tapatalk

I don't believe so, maybe he went to college with MS for two years and left before graduating. I can't remember what Facebook said before that was deleted.

Please don't sleuth family members of CWW and bring it here. It is against WS TOS.

:tyou:

Yep a "Snake in a Suit".

This is incredible BS. Contrast all this talent and accomplishments with the trailer they pulled him out of during the arrest.

Going to take LE awhile to piece this all together.

Thanks creepingskills for revealing this masterpiece of a lie.

Totally agree. My husband just retired with 40 years as a computer programmer (college degree) and analyst. He can program in computer languages. He rolled his eyes when I mentioned CWW's glowing resume and accomplishments...maybe Gates or Steve Jobs. Maybe he gained an online degree while doing time.
Fascinating! And yet this genius was dumb enough to get busted with a recipe for making meth, during a traffic stop?

I think he spent some of those long, sleepless nights tweaking his resume. MOO

Your husband can roll his eyes all he likes, but the bio that was posted is true. Every word of it, and then some.

Thanks Skinner for the confirmation.
Now I don't feel the need to contact Missouri Corporations Division to request a copy of the Articles of Incorporation for ODYSSEY INTERACTIVE, INCORPORATED formed 5/26/1994.

. . . business venture was Odyssey Interactive. Emilio, along with three business partners, began Odyssey Interactive to create multimedia CD-ROMs. The company’s first and only CD-ROM was Apollo XIII: A Week to Remember.
http://emiliocorsetti.com/bio/

The CD-ROM Apollo XIII: A Week to Rememberwon the top prize at the Worldfest film festival held in Charleston, South Carolina in 1995. The Apollo XIII CD-ROM, developed by St. Louis based Odyssey Interactive, won both the gold and the jury awards in the category of New Media/Adult Education. . .

Ok. Agree. CW had computer skills that not too many possessed at the time

So did MS tell you how and why CW never made billions from his skills?

Did ms ever say to you his true feelings towards CW BEFORE ALL Of This?

Thanks SeaSeas. Amazing revelation.

Skinner, I'm sure you can understand why we are incredulous about the self-proclaimed accomplishments of a teenager in 1986. Would you mind elaborating on your statement that every word is true and then some? Thanks.:)

From an earlier post:
Early in his career, Wright achieved several notable successes that showcase his ability to harness the power and flexibility of the computer environment:

In 1986, Wright was at the forefront of the developing field of interactive multimedia when he married then-new touch-screen technology with laser disk players and custom software for Sony Corporation. The result was Sony's Interactive Travel Guide, which used the first touch-screen controller as part of an interactive travel experience in kiosks and travel agencies across the nation.

Thanks SeaSeas. Amazing revelation.

Kudos go to creepingskills for finding CWW's bio. And thanks to Skinner (verified insider) for confirming the truth of CWW's bio that creepingskills found.

i look forward to see info regarding his digital footprint(s).

It would be interesting to hear what Mr. Corsetti has to say about CWW. Was he one of the three partners? This is bizarre.

ETA: Here is what Emilio Corsetti says about the Apollo 13 CD-ROM:
I was the writer, programmer, and project manager on the CD-ROM. The CD-ROM was produced by Odyssey Interactive, a company I founded with three other partners. This product is no longer available.
http://emiliocorsetti.com/apollo-13/

And here is what Wright says (posted earlier):
In 1995, Wright co-wrote content and programmed "Apollo 13: A Week to Remember," an award-winning edutainment CD-ROM. The CD, the first of its kind to be produced in the Midwest, employed a hybrid disc technology that allowed it to be run on both Macs and PCs while sharing all the media and content files including over 73 minutes of running video.

Who to believe? Who to believe? :scared:

Thanks Skinner for the confirmation.

He wouldn't be the first guy to throw away a good life - and a brilliant mind - for meth, for sure, but I'm not buying that resume.

Ic-all's website is either broken, abandoned, or is altogether a sham; the (one) picture of the "Security System" they sell (via "Authorized Vendors" only, of course) shows an empty server case. The "contact" is a blind e-mail address. The "About Us" list no people, has no physical or mailing address, and no phone number. It's a lot of mediocre marketing key-words with no bones behind it, as far as I can tell. From "New Products":

Our broad line of products and technologies remain cost competitive solutions in a consistently developing market. Our exciting features will continue to enrich the user's experience...

...In addition to manufacturing and integrating DVR systems, we also carry an extensive line of cameras for all DVR installation applications. We have cameras specific for License Plate Recognition, Car Wash facilities, Boat Docks, Casinos, Banks and more. We will help you select the appropriate cameras for the locations needing monitoring...

In fairness, there is a place to log in, so maybe the "more" I'm looking for is behind that, but that website stinks.

Hey COASTAL:cheers: So glad to see you here! (For anyone who doesn't already know..COASTAL IS A SUPER-SLEUTH!) If Coastal says it's fishy...then it is probably fishy. I have a lot of catch up reading to do, but couldn't help but give you a shout out!

There is something very fishy about Corsetti's website above.

I compared it to his LinkedIn profile and the apollo 13 company is not mentioned in tbe Linked in profile.

Hi coastal. Would you be so kind and take a look at the Corsetti web page and tell me if you think its looks legit? I think someone is using his identity for the benefit of creating a false company claiming to have created a non existent Apollo 13 CD' Rom. Hope this makes sense.

I see the award for the Apollo 13 CD listed under honors and awards. He mentions several unnamed "start-up companies." Perhaps because the CD is out of print he doesn't mention the company by name. He seems to have done a lot since then. JMO

His personal website also has some personal information on it about the birth and death of his daughter. I think it's legit. JMO

re: Intelligent Technology
that company is associated with the interactive CD-ROM "Apollo 13, A Week to Remember", as well as
Build-A-Bear Workshop
it's past my midnight so i am going to refrain from interpreting the significance or lack thereof

http://web.archive.org/web/20030212074518/http://www.childstarcam.com/management_team.html
"Wright is a master of numerous software packages, operating systems and programming languages. He has worked in various capacities with several St. Louis-area companies, including Hytech Interactive, Intelligent Technology, Odyssey Interactive Inc., Anheuser-Busch, Inc., Multi-Media Solutions and Build-A-Bear Workshops."

http://www.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/1999/07/05/smallb2.html
"Intelligent has seven full-time employees and revenue approaching $500,000. The company established the first touchscreen kiosk in the Midwest for Sony Corp., as well as the hybrid (Mac/PC) interactive CD-ROM "Apollo 13, A Week to Remember," chosen as the official CD-ROM for RCA Universal's "Apollo 13" movie."
"Intelligent recently teamed with Build-A-Bear Workshop to develop interactive kiosk software that creates a custom birth certificate or storybook for new bear owners."

I found a review of the CD from 1995. It does exist, but I understand your skepticism. :) Can you believe sleuthing CWW is taking us into space?!! Now whether he actually had anything to do with the CD is an entirely different matter that I hope can be cleared up. JMO

-- "Apollo XIII: A Week to Remember" (Odyssey Interactive, (800) 539-6272; Windows, Macintosh; $29 street) is a step-by-step narrative of the entire mission, combining video clips, narration, photographs, animations and - most fascinating of all - audio tapes of the tense conversations between Mission Control in Houston and the Apollo 13 astronauts. I give it three stars.....
"Apollo XIII" is divided into five main sections: "Odyssey & Aquarius," "Liftoff," "Mission Aborted," "The Trip Home" and "Splashdown." Within each section, you listen to the voice of a narrator as you jump from page to page. The individual pages offer either video clips, animations, news stories or audio clips explaining some aspect of the troubled voyage......

Going through "Apollo XIII" from beginning to end requires about two to four hours. My only complaint with the CD-ROM is it lacks enough depth to justify multiple viewings, even though it tells a compelling story in a winning style.
