Bumping again. Is there a tally yet? I KNOW WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THE GOAL! I upped my ante a little. Heck $5 bucks doesn't even buy a ream of paper anymore does it? :)

Although many cases touch my heart, a few really, really get to me and Kyron is one of them. In the cases that touch me, I'll do something in memory of them that reflect something about their personality, such as a woman who had been abused, I donated a few hours at a woman's shelter. Someone who had pets that she loved, I gave a bag of dog food. For Haleigh, I gave a gift on a Christmas tree to a girl her age and for Kyron had intended to donate the basic school supplies for a boy his age. However, in honor, not memory, of Kyron, I will donate to this for him tomorrow.

At least 35 missing kids will have 1000 of their own fliers passed out all over the U.S. during the Fireball Run. Most of them have never had any media at all.

The whole point of the fireball run is to find the kids and bring them home.

So far 35 race teams have signed up. Each time a new race team signs up we need to print 1000 fliers for a missing child. The goal was to pay for the 35teams signed up. That's where we came up with the amount of 2600. BUT we didn't allow for any new teams to sign up. Because you all responded in such big numbers Marc can pay for more missing children's fliers than we had planned on.

Because of your generosity today Marc and Violet have reached their goal for the printer with a nice cushion for when more racing people sign up and that means more missing kids get their own 1000 fliers.

I do not have an exact amount but we OVER did it and that is so wonderful.


All day long I have been bawling my eyes out. All happy tears mind you.

In these incredibly hard times I am so impressed that you still took the time to donate.

5 dollars is like 5 thousand if you don't have it (believe me I know it) and I know some of you really had to scrape to donate.

Marc will be writing us a message soon.

:woohoo: It takes a Village to Raise a Child. And we have a wonderful Village here at WS. Let's pray that many many children can be found as a result of our generous members. Now I'm teary eyed also. Tricia it is a difficult time for many of us. What we give we get back in 3's though. And you give us so much! :blowkiss:

Even though the goal was met, I still plan on donating tomorrow (when I get my check).

I'm sure any money they receive will be put to great use.

I just wanted to mention that in case someone was going to donate and decided not to because the goal was met.

We can keep this going! It's a great cause.
 
Is it too late to still donate? I would love to. If its too late, is there another similar foundation I could donate to for Missing Children? I've been following the Kyron case since the beginning and my heart is broke over this. I've seen most of the missing children cases over the years and it makes me sick. Little NevaeH Buchanan was local to me (she was the 5 yr old who was abducted and murdered from Monroe Michigan last year and still her killer is free!). These cases just tear me up. Im a mother to two young boys and I want to do anything I can to help for missing children.
 
Dear ones,

We met the goal but if more comes in it WILL go to help further. DON'T STOP GIVING just because we met the goal. We can DOUBLE the goal. Marc will make sure that the funds go to help find the missing children! I spoke with him personally today and KNOW that he and Violet, his wife, are HUGELY committed!

SO KEEP POURING IT ON GANG. Let's don't just meet a goal let's EXCEED IT!
 
Please yes donate. KlaasKids takes donations anytime.

So if anyone was planning on donating please do so. We will have more teams sign up so we will need more money for the printer and on the off chance there is even money left over it will go directly to the KlaasKids Foundation. The Foundations goal is to help bring home missing children and to prevent harm from happening to our kids.

The money is always needed.

It's not too late, Ticia said they hadn't added in new registrations. Her post is above. Your donation will be put to good use with KlaasKids.
 
I feel really good about being a part of this cause. I had intended to donate $5.00 tomorrow but will donate $10.00 because I have 2 children and they are adults now (maybe) and I know where they are tonite. Unfortunately, there are too many parents out there that don't know where their children are and if I can play a part in bringing them home, it's worth way more than $10.00.

Although we don't agree on some of these cases and can get frustrated, we have good hearts and want these children's voices heard.
