after reading the report by Flores, it is just creepy to me the two roommates were in the house for several days off and on with TA's body, I had been wondering about that...seems strange the smell was so obvious to the police but not to the roommates...why do you think that was, anyone?

That really stood out to me, too..
wouldn't the odor have been noticeable to the roomies... Even if they were not familiar with the odor of decomp?

the one roommate that had lived there the longest....works at a fish house (seriously) so his sense of smell has to be off

the other guy had moved in 2 wks prior and had not been there much

my husband is not really concerned with smells....I know, I know sounds gross but really I can say what is that smell and he really takes a long time to react....I think it is a man thing (do not want to actively look because they may have to clean something LOL)

Ok, an observation, if that's ok, while we wait for KCL's awesome insights. I was just watching Dr. Drew and saw Jodi putting her hand around Wilmott's neck, I suppose, to prove that her finger was broken in the pic of her and her sis from May. I hope the jury is paying attention though and using a discerning mind. I noticed, beyond a doubt, that the finger is still noticeably more crinkled in that position, not at all like the one with her sister, where the fingers are all uniform. Do you think the jury got that? It is so obvious to me. I can see that the finger is noticeable more bent than the others. Maybe that'll help them if the jury doesn't remember the picture or whatever, but for me, that just sealed in my mind that she hurt it in June and not January. Any thoughts, court observers?

Don't know if Katiecoolady knows about Jodi's friend Bryan Carr going on national tv (Nancy Grace) tonight claiming the second story Jodi Arias told the police is the TRUE story .... she is protecting her family but I'm sure she'll hear about it soon enough and will have plenty to say. I'll try to find a transcript or video.

I'm curious if he was in court today.

Ok, first of all, I connected with Tanisha when I first got there and clarified that the paypal email AND the PO Box posted are correct for donations/letters.

She looked really great today in a dress (and the figure to go with it) that I was coveting...tan/black wide striped on angles maxi dress. She just looked like a million bucks and she looked rested to me today. Of course Harold was as gracious and friendly as always every time he sees me. He's a very warm and loving person.

On to my notes. I also connected quickly with my friend Jake Orbin who's attending as I am (brother of a murder victim). He told me he saw the Judge roll her eyes a couple of times in the morning. He was bugged by the whole thing...he was asked to be on HLN today but declined..he doesn't do TV appearances anymore.

Jodi again had a pep in her step as she walked briskly to the stand. She is wearing ugly black tennis shoe looking shoes under her ugly baggy tan pants.

So I get in and quite a few seats available in the family row. So I sit with another "Cathy" , actually two other "Cathys" next to me right behind Harold/Tanisha (did you guys see me? I had a pony tail and an aqua cardigan and my nerd goggles) and Jake on the other side. Jake and Cathy were really chatty and Jake is a gregarious guy so hope I wasn't seen been inappropriately giggling. He whispers jokes in my ear sometimes.

I can see ALL the jurors today. And I can see stupid Jodi over the head of the court reporter.

Jurors walk in. As always none seem to look at her but with the exception of today tri color does seem to glance her way. Jodi lights up and smiles I'm sure thinking she's going to be set free because finally one juror looks at her. I see tri color's face as she pivots and there is no smile...she just glanced at her with a straight face. She didn't even have a basic smile of cordiality to undo. Her face was just straight.

Ponytail (who is the female next to Maureen) is wearing these wild shoes wtih her jeans today. She has skinny jeans and these HIGH platform shoes with red platforms and leapord print heels...at least 5 inches. She always wears a ponytail and long bangs down each side of her face to her chin. SHe really caught my attention today as she was writing TONS of notes. I mean really non stop writing. I was wondering if she was writing something else over there. She did pass notes to the juror question basket at least once and it appeared there was a LOT of writing on it! That was one of several passes to the question basket...more to come on that.

I printed out Anita's juror nickname list and brought it with me so am using her nicknames here (first page of this thread)

Maureen and Ponytail seem quite close. Maureen again is highly pivoted toward Jodi.

Paul Rudd places a question paper in the jury basket, pulls it out and writes on it then places it back in again.

Nurmi's suit is actually a pin stripe.

Jurors attentive.

Poquito however has his head down as usual.

I saw more jurors look directly out to the gallery today than any other day I've been in there.

In particular the juror "Barb" on the back row closest to JA looks out many times during the day. Always toward the family section (which is also the media section). At every sidebar (many) her head pivots and she stares at the gallery. At one point it seems she is sitting on the edge of her seat and sticking her head out and kind of straining to see someone or something in the gallery...family side.

The Artist also looks frequently out at us. I made eye contact with him one time. I also made eye contact with the CEO (all inadvertent...I'm just watching them and they look over..then I quickly look away. I'm very careful to not show facial expressions after what happened last week).

JA is doing a major staredown of someone during this sidebar. Katie? FLores? That general direction. Her gaze just is fixed.

NO ONE looking at her during sidebar including Maureen.

Ponytail a lot of notetaking during the side bar...what is she writing?

Sexual partner (who had more) comment seems pure hearsay to me.

Did he just say "first rodeo"? Jake is getting so frustrated next to me he's making sounds of annoyance (meaning he's annoyed).

Barb looks over again at this sidebar.

JW is taller than JM at the sidebar.

All the screens are lit as if waiting for an exhibit.

Can you tell if Jodi's stare-downs are obvious? Who in the court room could see these? Can you detect what emotion she might have when she does these?

I ask because I find it fascinating that she would do such a thing in court!!!!

The Artist (male) seems to me more like a military man. He has a tattoo on his forearm. He also glances over off and on throughout the day.

No note taking re: anal sex including the "painful" part. Inc. Tri color who is always note taking.

How can she reference texts surrounding the ones admitted without them being hearsay or beyond the scope?

Weird feeling rushes over me out of nowhere like "what if" she could be telling the truth? I'm like WTH is that? then I remember the FACTS of this case, the forensics, the premeditation and I'm oriented again. I felt like for a small moment I was feeling the influence of the "vibes" of her sociopathy. Luckily she will not be in the jury room with them...but the facts will be.

Maureen and Ponytail the only two taking notes re: the sex stuff, texts, lollipops etc.

I think everyday before the jurors come into court they should be reminded this a murder case and shown the crime scene photos b/c the DT is trying to make this a sex case

Poquito slumps so far down his head is literally a foot lower than people on either side. Top of his head is at their shoulders. Neil notices this and laughs a little. It does look kinda funny.

Ok now Nurmi is playing his "greatest hits" video out of the presence of the jury. This is disgusting. He pulls all of the most salacious material from the sex audio tape and out of context and puts them all together in a montage and it's played straight through. I'm sick to my stomach over it.

The words are bright white on a black screen and HUGE on 8 screens including the Jumbo tron throughout the courtroom. I'm disgusted. It's all mixed up and out of context. Occasionally you hear JA soundig like a little girl but it's all Travis. How dare he?

This is purely abusive to Travis (again) and his family. To what end?

Can't imagine this is redirect ...he made this for closing argument.

Juan Martinez made eye contact with me at least 3 times. I think I'll stick with my ponytail look.

Lots of chitchat between JM and Flores as everyone waits, it seems for the JUdge tomake some decision here. I really can't imagine this dvd will come in now...???

During all these long side bars, JA's Mom seems to be staring right at her directly. JA doesn't even seem to look in her direction. She does seem to be doing her staredown thing from time to time..once I even thought she might be looking in my direction and I averted my gaze because ..well I just don't want that gaze locking with mine. I also don't eat poison on purpose.

JA has her chair pivoted toward the jurors more than I've sen before.

She just testified about how they bantered back and forth with sexual stuff trying to up the ante with each other...then now they play this one sided bs making it look like it was all travis (which we know it's not). I just can't believe this is coming in!

Jeff Gold (attorney, talking head) is behind me making audible sounds of frustration and writing furiously..he's pissed over this tape coming in.

Our thread was just full of our members being thoroughly disgusted over that presentation. We could not believe that the judge would let it in. How unfair for TA. Really how low can she go??
