Thank you KatieCoolady!!! You are most awesome. It must have been electrifying in that courtroom this afternoon. I didn't get a chance to hear or read about how she answered the question about the definition of a *advertiser censored*. If you recall, I'd been interested in hearing her response.

Did you get the sense that they were going to move the trial to a new courtroom tomorrow to avoid the technical disruptions? My fear would be the lack of space if they don't have another courtroom available with the same, or larger, gallery space. I would go through withdrawals if I wasn't able to get your observations. Especialy during this unprecedented questioning from the jury.

A slew of questions come in there at the end that seem like they come from the same person and almost have a ring of sarcasm to them. "mental condition" "have you been on medication for your memory issue?" "you claim...yet you..."

These seem more like accusations than questions.

Damn these questions are good.

That's the last of my notes.

Again, I didn't see ONE man sincerely taking notes (maybe CEO took a sentence or two) and they all seemed just utterly pissed off. If they don't believe her, now they know she's lying directly to their face. This throat slashing, stalking, gun firing, back stabbing crazy B*** is trying to pull something over THEIR eyes? No. It's not happening.

Ok I have to split pretty quickly after court but I do down to the studios because I've brought a note for Nancy and want to see her (as do many others) she rushes out of her studio truck then quickly throws a different jacket on and they whisk her off ...I think she then went on AC 360. She's so gracious to the sidewalk stalkers (of which I"m one) and says "I'll be back in 15 min I really want to talk to you all!). Dangit if I dind't have to go and as I don't know if she'll be there manana I gave my note to her asst.

Beth came up and gave me a hug and I told her I'd passed her note over here to WS. She's so warm and friendly ...even more so now. :) I loves me some BK.

Oh and in Katie's notes she said "there's a Mormon on that jury" and several others said the same! Interesting.

Ok guys I'm back again tomorrow ALL day. Need to eat dinner now after this aerobic typing.

I"ll go back through questions after a bit. Let me know if you want me to look for anything i particular for tomorrow.

I'll just end it on this note:

Juan Martinez touched me today!!! :great:

he's amazing.

I saw Nancy in the mobile studio. I wanted to meet her, but chickened out. LOL!

I adore Beth, she is so professional, some of the THs could take lessons from her.

Wow, that is quite an ending to a great day, contact with Juan. :)

Forgot to add: NG will be here tomorrow.

Let's not go :offtopic: of the Jodi Arias trial and please keep this thread for questions and answers of our courtroom observers.

A BIG thank you to our observers and all you do!

*This post lands and random.*

:gthanks: so much for this post! It's frustrating trying to weed through the senseless chatter and hoo-rahs to find what this thread is really meant for!

Katie,

You remarked about JA's mom in the bathroom talking about the case today. Can you please tell us how she is being received by other bathroom patrons, or the crowd in general? I don't expect any head-bashin' beer-brawls towards her, but are people generally kind to her, or stand-offish?

Thank you!

She used a few big words one of them being "perjorative". :::rollingeyes:::

No I don't htink they are moving the courtroom..that would be a nightmare as all their exhibits, media are all set up there. They worked it out. No worries. We'll be back for more in the am. :)

Where is here? In the courtroom? On WS?

That's a great question. Is this the largest, most technically wired courtroom there? It seems reasonable that such a high profile case, as in CA trial, would be in their deluxe courtroom.

People, including me, are respectful and polite. All I can tell you is in many ways things are very different in person than on TV/online (anyone who has ever online dated knows what I mean). Her family seems much less ...what is the word....offensive...in person. Unpopular as it may be I will always do my best to keep it real. I feel compassion for them. Esp today after she was pretty sh***y to them on the stand. Her Mom I mean. The one who sits there day after day in court being ignored by her sociopathic daughter. That has got to be grueling.

You're welcome. I do think there is a book in me somewhere about something. I'm just not sure what yet. I'm more interested in sharing the message of survival/thriving/living a good life after tragedy so not sure how that fits.

But also maybe there is something to be said about trial watching and putting oneself in a situation you feel drawn to and bringing positive focus in to it.

Nothing describes this better than my (and my friend "Jordy") participation in the Peterson trial. If you guys haven't read this, it's a good read. We went trial watching and ended up producing a piece of evidence used against Scott Peterson completely innocently.

I spoke with the writer of this story yesterday and she's gonna meet up with me at the Ricki Lake taping next week...you meet a lot of great people through things like this too...this case is no different...lots of nice folks I'm meeting.

Anyhoo, here is Katie and Jordy's Excellent Adventure:

First let me say how sorry I am about your sister. That is so awful.

The article was VERY cool!! I may have just joined for this trial (Arias), but for some reason these things (trials) really interest and engage me, and it's pretty awesome that you've been part of this community for so long. :Banane41:

I heard that-- she used pejorative instead of saying promiscuous. Very adroitly avoided the question.

Oh this IS the deluxe courtroom. They do hold other cases in there on other hours than this one so maybe someone messed with the a/v. This is like 5 star hotel deluxe courtroom. Seriously.

Katie, I think I love you :blushing: Not in a creepy way! I promise! But I do.

Thank you for taking your time everyday, not just to go to court and sit through all of JA's lies and support Travis and his family and infect them with your positive energy, but also for coming back to us every night and filling us in with your great insight. Thank you for your observations and your stories and your light.

I just think you're the bee's knees.

Worse comes to worse I get to be in the anteroom if there aren't seats available but so far I've lucked out. I am a good luck kinda person so we have that going for us. :great:

KCL,

Oh, before I forget. One of the people in the seating area (hall) used to work with Doug Grant. How freaky is that?

Juan also prosecuted him (for those not familiar with him).
He worked with the local pro-basketball team.

I'm available for set ups with cool guys. Fyi. ;)

For realz thanks for the love guys. You're the wind beneath my wings (and today, my heels). :seeya:
I"m working my way backward through the questions now.

My take on The camera question is: the person who asked the question thinks TA would think of picking up the camera versus chasing Jodi. Jodi assumes she is all consuming of TA's attention. I think this person is pointing out that TA's concern was his new camera NOT HER. Jodi had a plan and she didn't allow for TA to rewrite her script. Good for that juror. I am glad they asked that question.
Thanks Katiekoolady for all your notes:)

It was the second part of the question that really bothered me. It was..."Could this explain his delay in chasing you and his anger at the closet threshold?"

It seems to imply that they think her story makes sense if she ran, TA picks up the camera to see if its broken, then starts chasing her and is in a rage when he reaches the "closet threshold". :waitasec:

That was the ONLY question I didn't like. I really hope that person gets straightened out or ends up being an alternate.

Katiecoolady, Watch her when she takes a drink. IMO, it's not normal. She picks up her water cup ALWAYS with her left hand, rotates her hand/wrist and arm in order to expose her fingers so they are facing forward as if she's trying let the jury see her fake bent finger.

It's like the hand of a reptile. Ewww.

Wow...that is freaky! He's still in prison right? Or is he out already? Sad story. My friend Paul Rubin covered it and thought it was a wrongful conviction (we don't agree). I thought he was a wild narcissist. Sad story...another LDS story. I guess Juan is an expert on LDS now huh?

Sorry, Nancy Grace will still be in Phoenix tomorrow.
KCL wasn't sure NG would be in town, and I was letting her
know she would.
