Can't bring up adjustment disorder (hmmm)

During f/f, can't organize, plan, don't see higher ordered behavior
Donovan sitting over there next to Sandy...Katie DDJ sent me a screen shot of her glaring and making some kind of gesture in her direction

"not flight or flight at ALL" double BOOM

Just spoke with demarte's friend or associate sitting near me and she agreed how amazing she is on the stand.

Ok I just returned from TSI (The Spanx Incident)

Dr. D sitting behind the pros table and she sitting and JM standing, they are nearly the same head height. I'd say she's at least 6 feet tall. Slender, attractive.

Jurors return and all pull out their notebooks.

No questions in the basket.

Approach after "clean up'--most jurors on the front still writing during the SB

All jurors on front poised with notepads and pens except Trump of course.

You can see memory impairment in flight/fight.

JW looks tan today.
 
I watch the trial coverage live streaming on radaronline each day, and I don't know if the camera angle is the same as what HLN shows, but the camera rested on Jodi a lot today and she appeared totally immersed in whatever she was writing/drawing. She seemed almost uninterested with what was going on from the witness stand. Perhaps she was trying to tune out the good Dr. DeM. JMO

Jodi glares at Dr. DeMarte, grabs her glasses and flips her the bird as she is putting them on. Start at about 36:10 and watch carefully. It is right about 36:18.

fight/flight means increase in memories over time

No complex activities

Indications of complex activity (ya think? deleting photos, packing a car, doing laundry, driving thru the desert in unknown parts, disposing of weapons etc etc)

Lots of things overruled today

Deleting photos example (that's my girl!)

Maureen, Barb, CEO, HW, Church Lady, Nancy note taking re: f/f memory issues

Dissociation skill developed over time.

Coping skill. prolonged periods of trauma

Doesn't develop overnight

CEO, HW, Barb, Maureen, note taking non stop the pens don't stop moving

True dissocation is rarely seen--associated with severe trauma

Pattern of memory loss she reported losing

Hippocampus takes STM and puts it in LTM "like a hallway" If the hippocampus is damaged, it's damaged...will show up later (whatcha think of that Dr. Samuels?)

No indication of long term cognitive deficits

JA still refusing to look up

I wonder if ALV is watching this (re: domestic violence lab she worked in)

Wow, she's a diverse witness--worked in a setting where DV perps were mandated

8-16 evaluations per week

DV minimum in 1/2 of those

Oh, KCL, this story made me smile.... because (years ago) the very same thing happened to me. At a Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

In my case, it was pantyhose rather than spanx. I entered the meeting room and walked right over to the buffet line!

Oh, well, I can laugh about it now. :seeya:
 
Hi KCL, thanks again, TH talking what we didn't see, they are saying Wilmont did well today, I have to disagree, any thoughts as to your observations. As well I am so glad the Alexanders are having a moment of reprieve
 
JA's reporting of DV incidents changed over time frequently. SIDEBAR

Inconsistency in reporting:

First evaluator: 2 Later: 4 Another evaluator: "numerous"

Inconsitency= not truthful re: abuse

HW, CEO, Paul R., Nancy, Barb note taking

All jurors attentive

Not everyone in abusive relationships has BWS

1. Re experience abuse
2. Avoid contact
3. Hyperarousal
4. Impaired social relationship second to power/control
5. Increased medical problems, global dislike of their body
6. ?

I seemed to have missed number 6??
