Welcome back to the Delphi Murders discussion thread.

On the afternoon of Feb. 13th, 2017, best friends Abigail Williams and Liberty German were dropped off at a bridge in the town of Delphi. On Feb 14th their bodies were discovered around noon about 50 feet from the north bank of Deer Creek which is about 0.5 miles from the bridge.

Richard Allen has been arrested and charged with the murders of Abby and Libby

this last witness being shown the BG video and confirming BG was the man she saw that day standing on the bridge - a young, boyish guy, about 20 years old with poofy reddish-brown hair. I am veryyyyy curious how this witness will be presented at trial and honestly which side they will appear for since all of the very specific identifying information in their witness statement is entirely omitted from the PCA .

RA says he left at 1:30, a car similar to his is seen driving westbound (the direction towards his house) past the storage place at 1:27. Why would it be assumed that by an “old farm bureau building” it would mean he parked at CPS building and not the Mears Farm lot where everyone else seems to park?

Again, It would be wonderful if LE actually recorded the interviews so everyone could know what RA actually said and not someone else’s idea of what he said.

Oh you’re right! Im mixing up my witness quotes from other sources:

Police said the suspect has reddish-brown hair, stands between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10 (1.7 and 1.8 meters) and weighs between 180 and 220 pounds (82 and 100 kilograms).

Ok thanks, I didn't think I remembered "reddish".
To me, from 50 to 60 feet away and depending how good BB's far sight is, this could very well be the poofy brown hair, JMO

They are in fact the only contemporaneous notes, to which no external motivation or conspiracy can be directed. IMO the jury could well give them higher weight than anything said years later.
