Autopsies revealed in mysterious death of sisters at tropical resort
September 30, 2016

Snipped...
...The medical reports on Robin Korkki, 42, and Anne Korkki, 37, did not answer the key question of how they died, but toxicology tests were still being performed, officials said.

(Anyone see anything more being reported about toxicology? Unless they DID those rapid screenings Pamela mentioned, it could be months to be concluded no? )

This says "soon" ...
"Seychelles police spokesman Jean Toussaint said there were no visible injuries found on the body of the sisters. He said that the result of a toxicology report which is expected to be received soon may give more clues about the death of the sisters."

*eta: They can get BAC levels @ time of death as well.

Let's hope soon is soon and not weeks like this article stated.

Police on the island told DailyMail.com that toxicology tests were now being carried out on samples taken from both bodies.
The results will not be known for several weeks.

Seychelles Police spokesman Jean Toussaint told DailyMail.com toxicology tests would be carried out on the island of Mauritius at a forensic pathology lab.

He said the results are not likely to be known for several weeks.

'The autopsy has given the cause of death but toxicology tests have to be carried out,' said Toussaint.

'Robin Korkki died from acute pulmonary edema and her sister Anne died from acute pulmonary and cerebral edema.
'Further analysis is need and we can expect the results in a matter of weeks. The investigation is still on going.'

Always wanted to try it... Party at tarabull's house!

You're serious? I remember my son talking about it in his college days, and I said "you're out of your mind". Not that it did any good. LOL

Both Annie's and Robin's FB pages have been removed.

I don't think I've had the Polish vodka, maybe you can bring some to the party  :happydance:

Ya'll get started on these, I will return with more. Cheers.

Goodness gracious, I'll stick to a good dry white wine or a Pinot Noir. You guys are a riot, LOL. Sound like some hard drinkers. Party Time! All I can say is, PLEASE BE CAREFULL ! :seeya:

Wow...we are vodka drinkers & never heard of THAT...just looked it up --- two stores here sell it! Thanks for THAT blue! Will have to check it out!

Back to the girls...

What do ya'll make of the sliding door unlocked on their villa???

I just wonder if it was unusual for the butler to check on them so early, as they had to be helped to their room the night before. It wouldn't have alarmed me if they were still in their room at 8:45, after the heavy partying on the previous day and part of the evening. I would suspect that they may have been hung over and were taking longer than usual to be up and around. What do you guys think? Thanks, Katt

Here's the entire sentence from the link Pamela shared...
Snipped...
...It was around 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 22, two days before their scheduled departure, that the hotel’s butler arrived to find the sliding door of their villa locked, the same way he said it had been left the night before, according to local newspaper Seychelles Nation.

And the next sentence...
...As the hours passed by with no movement coming from the typically boisterous women’s room, he alerted hotel management, Seychelles Nation reports.

hmmm, now that is an interesting point. I agree, if they were drinking heavily the day before I wouldn't expect them to be up and around until closer to noon. I wonder what motivated the butler to check in on them so early.

ETA: just read tarabull's post above....sounds like there was a time gap so he (the butler) wasn't immediately checking on them.

Does anyone know if this resort has a lot of CCTV cameras? I was wondering if there is video proof that they were helped to their room as has been reported.

You enter the rooms from outside (rather than a main building) but I would think they still have cameras around. I don't see any though...
