Casey was "somewhere". Caylee was "somewhere". Someone isn't talking or we would know where they went, what they did, etc.. Who kept Caylee, if anyone at all? Maybe we just haven't been told yet. Maybe LE has this info and is not releasing it, as maybe one of her former friends did/does know and told. I think the answer to this will explain most of it. We may not like it - but I think most of the case is right here.
Agreed- Ricardo said when he was with KC, Caylee would always come with her when they hung out. I feel like until KC stopped hanging out mostly with Ricardo and that group, she just took Caylee with her. In Cindy's co-workers documents, they say
recently Cindy had been complaining that she was watching Caylee more and more- which would coincide with when KC started hanging out with TL and the new boys. They probably weren't as open to having a child around- they were college boys, her old friends seemed to have jobs.
Also, I think in a weird way kids that go away to college (like TL and them) are a lot more immature than kids who have to work and go to school part time. When I was away at college, we joked that college was where "we live in a bubble and don't get in trouble." The type of parties that happened right on campus (nothing nefarious, but just the NOISE level, [underage] drinking, making out) could never happen in the "real world." It gives you almost a sense of entitlement - just because you are so insulated, and everything is paid for (ironically mostly by student loans - but you don't think about that at the time). Compared to friends of mine from high school who went right to work, or had a family, or stayed home and went to a local college - they seemed 10x more mature than I was.
Tangent, but that's why I have been thinking KCs old friends like Ricardo, Amy, etc. who seemed to be doing a lot at once (school, work, making a living) were mature enough to understand KC needed to bring Caylee around. If Full Sail was anything like my college, I could see the new boys saying NOT to bring Caylee because (1) its "weird" to them since they are in that college-bubble mentality, (2) they don't think the atmosphere is good for a baby, (3) they don't want the responsibility of having a baby around (who could get hurt, etc), and (4) TL might have wanted to have "fun" with KC (which a child who could cry wouldn't be conducive to).
If TL told LE that KC would show up with an ID badge on, I think we know exactly what she was doing since May. She'd tool around online during the day, then drop Caylee off with Cindy and go to TLs/her friends and say she just got off work. Before she was dropping Caylee off as frequently, she probably tooled around online all day/ran errands, then took Caylee with her to her friends houses/parties.
It seems like she had enough different friends that she could realistically have just been hanging out with different people each night a week when she wasn't home. And I think she only told CA that Caylee was at "the nanny" when KC and Caylee would BOTH be at a party or sleeping at Ricardo's house - I doubt CA would have okayed Caylee being present at a party where people were drinking, or sleeping at a guy's house that she doesn't know.
[sorry for the novel here, i'm wordy today]
