So, in the ninja story, did Jodi ever explain how the mixed blood dna got on the wall?

only that she got into a tussle with the female ninja over the knife, and cut her left ring finger in the process.
and she also said TA was 'bleeding all over the place.'

so in that tale, she's the heroine again. TA is very much in the background of her ninja story. he's just back there, somewhere, probably shot, bleeding, crawling.....whatever.

but back to the STAR of the story----HER! the ninjas are 'mainly' arguing over whether or not to kill HER. then the struggle, her daring escape to safety, her bravery and courage in defending her family, who they've threatened to kill if she talks, etc. so she soldiers on, even though it's very, very hard.

too bad about TA, probably dead back at the house!!!

:seeya:

It was her! Compare that fast talking over excited voice to the voice mails she left travis after she did away with him. It's her alright.

:seeya:Hi katie! I wasn't disputing it was CFJA. I said she SOUNDS just like Casey Anthony.

:whispers: Maybe it's the voice of Satan:devil:. :evil laugh: :evil laugh: :evil laugh:

Just passing through to see if Jodi was still in her "time out" cell...

you know, to make sure I haven't missed that she has started having "migrane related" seizures, or stolen a pen to use as a weapon, or has a hostage or anything.

Here's to a Jodi free weekend!

And I happen to agree with Mark 100% (not just because he is gorgeous) but because people DO get admitted to mental health facilities and wards and wings when they don't have a real diagnosis. That's a fact (a couple phone calls, an available bed and you are in!)

ITA. About time someone said it.

Good afternoon everyone! I am a 75 year-old grandmother, born, raised and living in a very small town in Indiana. My interest in this case started with the 48 Hours broadcast of 'Picture Perfect' and eventually led me to this site where I have monitored the discussion ever since. And yes, the eventual verdict of 'GUILTY' brought tears of relief to my eyes!

However, as most know, the saga is far from over. This idiot thinks she can charm everyone with her charming (?) demeanor by using REVERSE PSYCOLOGY. Consider the following statements from the after conviction interview:

"I was just overwhelmed." and "My mind went blank." - Really, another cloud? :banghead:

"It was unexpected." - It's your EGO!

"There was no premeditation on my part." - Oooooookay, Gun - Rental Car - Borrowed Gas Cans - Change of Hair Color - Another Gas Can - Dead Cell Phone - and the Handy Knife (I seriously wonder if this wasn't stolen from her dad who owned a restaurant and would have owned butchering knives!)

"The worst outcome for me would be a natural life." - Can you please define what 'NATURAL' means, in your way of thinking?

"I said years ago that I would rather get death than life and that is still true today." - Maybe so, but you also said: IF I WAS GUILTY, I WOULD BEG FOR THE DEATH PENALTY!

We all heard "No jury would convict me. Mark my words!" I think she ran into a brick wall when she got to the courthouse yesterday and learned that her lawyers had not brought civilian clothes for her to change into and threw a conniption fit. (It is my thought that is what her family member was referring to when they were overheard saying that they hoped the jury didn't hear/see that.) I also think her outburst is what pushed her lawyers over the edge, where they in turn requested to be taken off of her case.

Be patient everyone; Juan, the judge and the system are working. Justice is on it's way!

Great first post Indiana! Welcome ot our group. :seeya:

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

From what I remember, she tried to say it must have been from another time when she was there and the detective said, but your blood is mixed in with his blood. She did not have much of a response after that.

My personal opinion is much of the outrage comes from frustration with the justice process. The fact that JA seems to have more rights than Travis and his family in this trial is angering.
The fact that the DT can make unjustified comments, and it's 'just doing their job' means changes need to be made in the way our legal system is willing to allow a victim who is unable to speak be treated that way.
While I think some people can go to far, for the most part as long as they are not threatening harm, these forums are a place they feel safe to share their opinions and frustrations.

I agree with people sharing frustrations or ranting about tactics. I can not tell you how much my blood boils when they call Travis that horrid name or slander him. But I do get why. Because she gets to put on her defense. She gets to make a claim and have it heard. She gets to tell her story.. Fable that it is.. I have no issue whatsoever with the pure angst and feelings about Arias, But I do believe people have gone too far in their attacks on the DT and the witnesses. There is nothing wrong with a little ridicule and fun jokes about their quirks but then some people were trying to ruin careers and go after them. There is a line and some have crossed it. Not a lot of people but some. I think that is hard. Because we are on the righteous side. We are on the side of Travis. ALL OF US. But I don't think going after people or trying to ruin them helps anything. They are just doing their job. Someone has to. Someone has to defend her.

Would Nurmi be my first call if I needed a lawyer? Nah.. but I think he did the best he could with what he had. I think he went to far in some cases but this is an ugly brutal case. Who made it that way?? Arias.. That is where all the anger should be focused.. Just right there.

Jodi, I am sick of you. I just want you to go away - the sooner the better.

JW rubbed/patted her shoulder after verdict.

:seeya: coup de grace! I saw JW attempt to console JA by rubbing/patting her shoulder just after the verdict was announced, too. I also noticed that JA "contemporaneously" gave JW the COLD SHOULDER.

Actually, for the first time, I felt kinda sorry for JW...

I asked on the lawyer thread, in relation to the accusations Baez made against CA's father, and she said it's protected speech and they can't ever be held accountable for it. I think that's pretty awful but that is the law. It comes under the heading of priveledge (darn it I can't spell that word)... they are just relating what they have been told by their client.

I'm not defending them, understand, just answering the question posed by Curious in Indiana....

Jodi's whole suicide watch is because she is ashamed and embarrassed of being convicted of M1.
She is mainly doing this to protect her family. moo

BBM
I disagree. Jodi is not doing this to protect her family. Jodi does nothing unless it favors her.

As we know Jodi is a master of controlling and hiding her rage. And now that she's been convicted, she is raging at the thought that she lost and the Alexander's won. Remember, she initiated a plea deal. The Alexander's basically told her to frack off. She said fine, now I'll show you. Hence the reprehensible attack on Travis and her machinations to winnow sympathy with her DV claim. It didn't work. She played the ultimate game of chicken and lost BIG TIME.

Jodi never loses, she always exacts her revenge. Not this time and so she's in a rage. Her interview was cloaked in rage; still trying to manipulate in her favor. I have come to believe that the one thing Jodi does not want to do is have to face the Alexanders and listen to what they will say to her. For her, that is the ultimate punishment. It's like throwing water on the wicked witch.

That's why I don't think she cares about her family. If she did, she would beg for mercy and save her family the anguish of seeing her put to death.

Jodi is a sublime manipulator.

i've been on the receiving end of what DAs do. the victim is re-victimized by the process. i was embarrassed and humiliated in a courtroom full of strangers for being RAPED by a stranger----a cab driver who picked me up to go to work when my car wouldn't start. that's all i did 'wrong.'

this is what's done in the name of protecting the rights of the accused. i get that they deserve a defense. nobody's disputing that. but i don't really think the intent of the system was ever to just make chit up and malign someone who's been hurt or killed, in order to get the defendant off.

i know PERSONALLY how it feels. and until you've been there, or someone you love has been there, you really don't know what it's like.

respectfully!!

Well said. While their method of defense was reprehensible it was not illegal.

Look how long it takes JW to notice Jodi looking at her like "mommy? help me?" Finally JW turns and puts her hand behind Jodi's back and gives her a pat in a sort of "nice kitty" when someone pats kitty on the head in that awkward way. I still can't figure out where Kirk Nurmi was, maybe thanking his lucky stars she won't be getting out of prison.

StephanieHart always says the right things. She is fantastic!!!

I just found it such a huge slap in the face to Anne Frank.
If her father had still been alive I imagine he would have freaked out.

Anne Frank died BECAUSE she was Jewish.
If they keep making "mistakes" and "missing" names... they just need to stop with ALL Jewish people.

I'm a pretty avid Holocaust researcher... these people died for THEIR beliefs.
To impose YOUR beliefs on them AFTER death when they can no longer reject them...
It IS like killing them again... a posthumous Holocaust... and it's a huge slap in the face to survivors. :twocents:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/03/u...-posthumous-mormon-baptisms-beliefs.html?_r=0

Thank you for this. I am not Jewish, but I worked directly with Holocaust survivors for many many years, as well as with families who lost relatives in the Holocaust. Decades after the Holocaust what many families want is to find out exactly when, where, and how their loved ones died. They sought the truth, and even when I was able to tell them that their worse nightmares were true, they to a person cried with the relief of finally knowing the truth, and being able to observe a very important Jewish yearly ritual honoring their deceased loved ones.

Outside interference with, interjection into, or disruption of survivors and their customs is beyond reprehensible.

The big question I have about the interview was that the trial is really not over yet. We have all seen interviews of convicted prisoners, but there are 2 more phases left in this trial. Is it really OK that they were allowed to interview her before it really is over?
