since everyone who was in the courtroom when this 'incident' happened has been told to zip it or else, sounds like she did something they saw or heard.
somebody here posted----and i'm not trying to start a rumor----that she refused to enter the courtroom. like i said, i don't know if that's true but it sounds like something she'd pull. so maybe she was back there yelling and the people in the courtroom heard her, and what she said.
follow that up with a trip to chambers, where i'm thinking the witch told JSS she wants to fire her DT.

after all, this conviction is all THEIR fault---not HERS. so on to an evaluation to see if she's competent.

that's my theory anyway, and i don't know anything more than the rest of us----just sounds like the petulant, narcissistic brat we know she is.

A poster on the previous thread (sorry, I don't know how to bring over a post to a new thread) made a list of what we DO know about yesterday's incident:

1. Dr. Horn said, "Something happened in the courtroom".

2. Jodi's Mom said, "I hope the jury didn't SEE that.

3. TA family was escorted out of courtroom by police.

Jodi's Mom didn't say, I hope the jury didn't HEAR that. She said SEE that.

I would add to the list that among the law enforcement agencies that came and went in the courtroom were U.S. MARSHALS. (We don't hear about them very often.) This made me think it had something to do with the bomb threat, but why leave everyone in the courtroom? Besides, they would have cleared the whole building.

OTOH…providing armed guard escorts for the TA family makes perfect sense in light of the threats by that GRIM Twitter guy. (I don't know if it matters, but I think he was already in custody by the time court was cancelled.)

But, one thing we can count on is we WILL find out. If the whole courtroom was "gagged", someone WILL talk. SOON.:twocents:

I don't see any comments on any page on the Fox-Phoenix website. Maybe it's my browser settings?

I don't see any as well. I use Firefox (latest version) .. you use?

I meant to say Jodi is embarrassed in a selfish way. Just like her avoiding the LE after the killing.

She is only thinking for herself, yes, I agree with that!

Jodi has never been ashamed or embarrassed a day in her life.

Is there a way we could find out if JA has access to a TV? She might not be liking what most people are saying. Maybe she was thinkin' her fan base was larger.

:seeya:

BBM: Her "fan base" is what, Donoman, Gus, and a handful of other   ... maybe 10 people total :floorlaugh:

:great: And Travis has THOUSANDS, and thousands and thousands of "fans" :great:

:great: I sure hope JA got to see the video of all the people cheering outside the courthouse when the Guilty 1st Degree Verdict came down :great:

:great: And too bad she can't access the internet to see how many THOUSANDS of FANS Travis has !

She just can't handle it ... oh well ... :boohoo: Jodi !

Jodi's attorneys have devoted YEARS of their lives to make sure Jodi doesn't get DP. Nurmi pleaded with the court numerous times to be removed from this case.

Then, their client does this interview.

I want to hear from Nurmi and Willmott. It'll never happen because of the attorney/client confidentiality thing, but sure would be interesting.

Now that we know that Jodi is not in the psych ward by choice but was committed by those who believe that she might be suicidal, I'm sure that Jodi is fit to be tied. The last thing that Jodi would have wanted is to be labeled with mental health issues. She was adamant about this during the trial both in her snarky answer to a juror's questions about whether or not she had ever sought help for her mental problems and later when Dr. DeMarte dared to say that Jodi has Borderline Personality Disorder. I doubt that Jodi is a happy camper with jail personnel and psych staff monitoring her constantly. She's probably not the queen bee in her new digs, either, and that in itself will make Jodi's blood boil.

Things have not gone as Jodi anticipated, and she will have extreme difficulty accepting the reality that she was convicted of 1st Degree Murder and will likely spend the rest of her life in prison. It must have been like he!! on earth to deal with Jodi on a daily basis, and I feel sympathy for her DT who made every effort to placate their uncontrollable client. And, as much as I disliked both of them, I actually feel a bit sorry for Dr. Samuels and ALV because they, too, tried to help Jodi and are victims of her lies and manipulation. :moo:

I agre with you except regarding RS and ALV. I do not believe they were JA's victims. They were willing participants.

I agree with what you posted here, but I will add that regardless of any JA antics, this defense team isn't getting any sympathy from me.

JW with her eye rolling and foot stomping and smirking was completely unprofessional and disgusting.

And Nurmi...well I won't go beyond his daily barco lounger display.

Will Arias be allowed to trash Travis in her statement to the court?????
Doesn't JS have to clear content and length of each statement?

I really, truly hope not. I'm so sick of hearing her kill him all over again with her disgusting lies. I wish somehow she wasn't able to utter his name again in a slanderous way ever again.

I think she's just pizzed.

Just like with Travis....it wasn't that she couldn't live without him...she was pizzed that he could live without her.

All she's had for 5 years is her hatred for Travis and his family, and her plan for how she could try to destroy him on the stand. The jury just told her they don't believe a word of what she said. Next she'll have to sit there dressed in stripes while she is further revealed for what she is, and her lies abput Travis are demolished by the very family she hoped to coerce, shame, and pain into silence.

What she has left now is only her raw hatred for Travis and for everyone else who didn't believe her and who exposed her for what she is. Suicide watch? Ha. If I were in charge of her I would make sure she isn't given so much as a little pencil or a fork or anything else that could be used as a weapon until she is safely lockd away by herself on death row.

I seriously doubt she would have kept Travis' "secrets" if the family and DA had let her plead to 2nd Degree. She would write a book complete with illustrations traced off of the crime scene photos. No way was she ever going to let Travis out of this with his reputation intact.

What do you guys think happened in court yesterday?

a. Jodi got crap for the post conviction interview?
b. DT and her got into a huge fight and decided to put Jodi away for awhile until next week, so she can't talk?
c. Jodi begging for the DP, wanting to skip the next phases and JSS says "No way Jose". So she can avoid the VIS.

Any others?

What in the world will Jodi's mother say if this gets to the mitigation stage? The things she mentioned in the letter to the judge in 2011--singing, drawing (copying), writing poems--aren't important enough to save her life. She can't say that Jodi was a good daughter or sister because the jury knows that's a lie. She hit and kicked her mother and hit her brother with a baseball bat. She has screamed at her mother many times. I can't name one person whose life she has made better. If she is in general population, she will continue to assassinate Travis's character. How many times and in how many ways is Jodi going to be able to kill Travis Alexander?

Thanks for the link to the NYTimes article on the Mormons still baptising non-Mormons. Loved the "allMormonsaregay" idea. I went in and "converted" Sidney Rigdon, the guy who lost out to Brigham Young after Joe Smith was murdered. (Sidney was a local boy - lived and preached here in Pittsburgh prior to and after his association with the Mormons)

Sidney Rigdon's life is an interesting read, by the way. He was a staunch follower of Joe Smith for a long time. Word is he "assisted" in the writing of the Book of Mormon - by lifting a copy of a fictional book written by another guy from the printing shop they both frequented.

Sidney was actually one of the "inner three" assistants to Joe. Then Joe got into the multiple wives thingy. Then Joe went after Sidney's daughter to become one of his wives....... and that was the end of the relationship between Sidney and Joe Smith.

KCL said they weren't allowed to talk about what they saw which was 'basically nothing' and since DT was ex-parte in chambers it sounds like they were reporting the 'nothing' and the possibility the jury had seen the 'nothing' - didn't someone say the jurors were called into chambers one at a time?
