Thought I’d put together a ‘feel better’ post about the vile JA and her unrepentant interviews. Just to confirm, her snotty mouth earned her suicide protocol. She’s now silent until she’s off “suicide protocol.”

http://www.fox19.com/story/22200427/mcso-arias-placed-on-suicide-watch
Arias did an interview with KSAZ-TV following Wednesday's verdict and, according to MCSO, "in light of some of her statements during the interview, Arias was brought to jail and per Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, was placed on suicide protocol."
MCSO said until she is taken off suicide watch, she will not be allowed to give any interviews.

So … In addition to the yoga mat dresses, thought you all might enjoy this description of Suicide Watch from Wikipedia:

Suicide watch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
“Inmates are often placed naked in suicide cells, which are usually bare concrete, often without bedding (to prevent hanging by using bed sheets), and under frequent or continuous observation by guards. Unsanitary conditions are also common since toilet paper, underwear, and tampons (all potential means of choking) are restricted.”

And here’s the reality, from Maricopa County:

http://www.mcso.org/JailInformation/CustodySupport/Default.aspx?t=AncillaryServices
The Medical Services Section is located at the Lower Buckeye Jail, and is licensed by the State of Arizona. It is comprised of (MY NOTE: ARGH! “IT COMPRISES,” DARN IT!!!) a 60 bed inmate infirmary, a fully staffed Medical Clinic, and a 268 bed Psychiatric Unit.

http://www.mcso.org/JailInformation/LowerBuckeye.aspx
The Lower Buckeye Jail was opened in April 2005 and is the largest detention facility in Arizona. Its design is based on Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s “no frills” philosophy, and provides safety and security for staff and inmates.

http://www.thefreelibrary.com/A+Rx+...lities+into+a+detention+facility.-a0221023127
Three of the psychiatric housing units treat adult males, two are for the treatment of adult females and one is for juveniles…..

… Beds are 19 inches from the floor, so if an inmate has a seizure or an allergic reaction to medication, he or she will not fall far. Beds are made of concrete, with solid platforms to the floor to reduce the number of injuries and to prevent inmates from hiding or becoming stuck beneath the beds…

Each room/cell was designed for specific types of behavioral and psychological problems. Suicide prevention observation cells have showers inside, and the majority of the cells are single-occupancy. Double-occupancy cells were designed so a nonsuicidal inmate can help watch an inmate who may be suicidal. To aid in suicide prevention, there are no columns to block staff visibility. Also, there are cameras in each of the rooms, and three officers in each house monitor activity in the cells.

Hope this info makes y’all feel better.

Thank you!

well... I think these suicide prevention rooms just may prevent Jodi from crying "wolf"... Err...ahem... Suicide ever again!

:what:

I don't think Jodi was there today .. think it was the interviews in full.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Beth Karas said that JA was in the courthouse. She didn't go as far as saying that she saw her in the courtroom itself. Later she confirmed that JA had been returned to the jail....

And to Stabby Einstein, I say: why would Travis admit to this deep, dark, shameful secret on a phone call he knew was being recorded?

He didn't admit to any such think, he was commenting on your juvenile way of "emoting."

Doesn't she realize by now no one believes her? She just can't stop herself.

She also says all this could have been avoided if the state had just taken the plea deal. And to that I say: what relevance did this alleged pedophilia have to your defense? Alleged abuse, I see that. Alleged rape, alleged psychological abuse. OK and OK. But what forced you, assuming it was true (no) to talk about this issue in such great detail if your sole purpose in life was protecting this secret of Travis'? Oh yeah: "I was asked." If it were true you could have taken it to your grave and it never would have affected anything. This is all moot since it is not true and you even forged letters in your cell to corroborate this hateful lie you told and you just made it up to be spiteful. She's glad this lie is out there. It will follow around Travis' memory forever and she knows it.

Death penalty.
I *SO* agree. I see the conversation going like this:

JA - Travis YELLED at me.
nurmi - is that all?
JA - no, he wrote mean things to me
nurmi - go on
JA - ummm, did he slap me?
nurmi - getting closer
JA - ummmm he did. HE HIT ME!!
nurmi - how many times
JA- ummm, three?
nurmi - you sure that's all? How hard? Did you ever pass put?
JA - OOOOOH - yes, yes, yes!! Good one.
nurmi - now my favorite subject. How many times did Travis FORCE you to have kinky sex?
JA - ummmm You mean WHAT did I teach him, or do you mean WHEN I taught him?
nurmi - No, no. The FORCE thing. the TRAVIS FORCE thing - you get what I'm saying??
JA - Ooooooooh. I see. Ya - lots!

It took him another three hours to help her "remember the pedo thing", and I'll be darned if she still didn't mess that one up. Not the computer!! It was the chatioc pattern of paper falling - doncha know?

nurmi - I don't think the name calling alone is going to do it. Let's add some battered women abuse, and just to be safe, we'll add the pedo. How's that sound Jodi?

I will not feel guilty for replaying that guilty verdict being read over and over again. After the 3 months of crap that she and her defense put me through, I'm owed this satisfaction.

I'm doing the same and enjoying it immensely. :seeya:

This baffles me. She IS a convicted Felon about to be sentenced to Death or Life Without Parole.

DRAG her out, sit her down and she will be like every other convicted murderer in this Country. Sit down and take it. NOBODY is beating the crap out of you, slicing your throat, shooting you in the face!

Sit in a chair and listen to what you have done to these families! TAKE the rest of your punishment.

Why can't they just tie her with those shackles and drag her back to her seat in court? She will scream? So what, zap her like a shock thing, make noise get zapped, and forget the pretty clothes, where your Jail issued jumpsuit.. YOU are no longer "accused" you are convicted and nobody believes your stupid stories.

The video is online scroll down to ARIAS COURT CANCELLED http://www.abc15.com/subindex/video

WOW...just WOW....did someone get upset and have a hissy fit? With the Arias family comment "I hope the jury did not see that" or words close to that...that statement leaves one to wonder.

It was reported FJA was in the building. It was reported there were several sheriff officers plus called to the court room.

Thanks for posting the clip. :scared:

Notice how different her voice is on that voice mail and the voice in the interview.

Wow, if 1st degree come on down. If 2nd wait until after sentencing. Wow.

Omfg she sounds like she's on a business call.

With the seething, simmering rage that was just under the surface in that interview last night, I would imagine one of the main reasons JA doesn't want the Alexanders to give their victim impact statements in person is because she's losing the ability to control herself. I really think if this goes on much longer and gets more intense, we're gonna see her lose control. I can't say I'd cover my eyes if she did ;)

I emphatically agree with you. The monster is simmering, percolating just under the surface. She's kept in check fairly well until now. So the jury had the nerve to convict you, eh? M1, no less, premeditated. It's going to be very difficult for her to hear the victim statements. What, she's going to plug her ears and sing carols? She is such a dangerous person.

I will admit I must have some very twisted thoughts, but I agree with a previous poster who wished they could see her in jail.... I would pay for a subscription for a Cell Cam...All Jodi, All Day, All Night, Not Right (in the noggin) :)

An eyewitness on HLN said the Arias family had no one to escort them out.
Another eyewitness said the Alexander family had 5 deputies.
Did Jodi say something threatening concerning the Alexanders? Or, are they always escorted in and out?

Hmmmm.....quite possible, huh?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Beth Karas said that JA was in the courthouse. She didn't go as far as saying that she saw her in the courtroom itself. Later she confirmed that JA had been returned to the jail....
I thought I heard her say that first the attorneys were in with JS, and then just JA and JS!! Is that even allowed?

Sounds like JA went bonkers.....armed guards, family hoping jury didn't see then the comment wow!
Appears some family members saw a side of JA they had never seen....

Or they finally saw what Travis saw the night she murdered him.

Just how much more outrageous can she get?! I have to admit that I am as enthralled by the seemingly unending antics of JA, however, at this point I really think the best thing to do is shut down any and all attention on her. I mean, could you imagine if all media outlets completely ignored her?! What a message - you are nothing, Jodi, we really don't care.

Of course, it won't happen but it would probably be a bigger punishment than death because she's such an attention addict. Cold turkey can't come soon enough for this girl.

I cannot agree more. JA would rather die than having everyone ignore her.

HLN kind of cut JVM mic. It is kinda funny to see her walking around all excited.. no sound coming out

So how come the sheriffs didn't stop the interview?? Who's watching the convict??

They must have known, that's all I can think of!!!

JC is driving me nuts!!! She's just so sympathetic towards JA and family.

I think she just wanted to be able to watch TV, I guess they have them in their rooms at the psych ward!

Media said deputies were in and out of court room - then Arias family comes out and says they hope the jurors didn't "see that" and the Alexander family comes out surrounded by 5 deputies?

Jodi was never in the courtroom today was she?

I thought only the families and attorneys were in the courtroom today. No spectators or media. So how would anyone know if fja was there or not.
