Right now I think it’s the person she met up with. The lack of information leads me to believe they have in fact identified this person, and spoken with him.
If that’s the case, they’re probably waiting on forensics and other evidence.
Gotta hand it to law enforcement here, they’ve minimized leaks.
Concealed well enough that a week later they haven't found her! I'm heartbroken for her parents. As her Mom said this morning "Aniah is my best friend, she was born on my birthday and we have such a special bond ".
I have to say though, this case had much info come through the socials. I personally saw the “tip” on the car.
Agreed LE has kept info quiet, but I also feel like they have been much more impersonal. I much preferred the press conference by LE in KM’s case versus this one.
I don't think she met up with anyone, I think this is an abduction. Not sure if that person was known to her or not. Could have been watching her or random encounter. Sad, she was such a responsible young lady who seemingly did everything right. She was tired that night, she may have let her guard down.Right now I think it’s the person she met up with. I live just south of Birmingham in Alabaster.Wow! Hello to you too!
I’m with you on this theory. Hoping she’s being held somewhere against her will and will escape. Oh I’m hoping for this family. I know it’s doubtful but without hope what do they have? I saw dumpsters nearby the car. Seems like murderers are using that disposal method more and more. Hope LE have checked that out. There must have been a lot of blood etc in the vehicle for them to determine she's a victim of foul play. They should start doing some ground searching near where her car was found.

It’s always been common, but it’s been a regularity in many high profile cases lately.I saw dumpsters nearby the car. Seems like murderers are using that disposal method more and more. Hope LE have checked that out.
You are so right! Where's my sense of hope, thank you for the reminder!I’m with you on this theory. Hoping she’s being held somewhere against her will and will escape. Oh I’m hoping for this family. I know it’s doubtful but without hope what do they have? MOO
Im wondering if there was signs of blood on the floor near the passenger side door, Its strange how the police showed a full on complete side shot of the drivers side of her vehicle but only a small portion of the passenger side front fender when its clear there is more damage running further back along that side.
It also looks like the drivers seat is reclined quite far back, is that the head rest visible in the rear window? doesn't like the the seating position for a 125lb 5ft6 girl, possibly a much larger individual adjusted that seat.
