Please, keep reminding me of things - I don't think I knew she tested dirty then. Was that where that other mug shot came from? She sure puts on the loving mother act with the tears for Brittney, saying if she were here she'd clear this up. Yuck.

I'd have more doubts about today's charges, but I know this goes all the way back to the attitudes within the family. After what happened to Brittney years ago with gma's bf, it should've been a clue to CW what damage sexual abuse and rape does to children.

Today, she says she didn't say anything against certain people and sounds like she feels betrayed and will be talking in payback. Hope so. Why didn't she say something though, if she knew they were up to these horrible acts with children and about Brittney's disappearance?

It all hurts my head, and makes me sick to my stomach.
 
Hope this video doesn't disappear because it is worth watching several times. She was caught so off guard, but she wasn't shying away from answering questions and being filmed in handcuffs. She sure said some things that caught my attention, but for investigative purposes, I'm going to watch it again. :wave:

Ah I wondered about that, I thought maybe it was normal to do that in the states as I don't remember ever seeing it in the UK.

I keep thinking about the emphasis on the gun only ever having two bullets. I'm sure it was CW who said that?
 
This is the first time I've seen CW looking genuinely upset and outraged. It's telling that it was over her own situation.

She brought up Brittney as an ace card - 'I can't look for my daughter in here'. As most of CW's 'looking' seems to have been getting on with life as usual, while saying the odd prayer and asking others to pray too, then I don't see any interruption. A person can still pray in jail in Alabama, can't they?

Steph - well, what an advocate for Brittney. She's unstoppable. She just addressed directly the questions she knew this would raise about her and WH, without being asked. She is SO believable. Mentioning that they haven't been asked to take a lie-detector but are very willing to was a great move as well. Especially as people can compare it to CW and her 'I'll take one if I can choose the questions' clip.

I bet RSW's attorney's heart dropped when he heard CW declaring her brother's innocence. A character witnesses like her is probably the last thing anyone would wish for.

I'm hoping her attorney will advise that dang 'gravestone' rock for Brittney gets taken away too. Even if CW can't see what that suggests, most people with a bit of sense think it hints she knows something no-one else does, yet.

AstroKitty, did you notice that waiting behind the double doors was a very sturdy officer, wearing latex gloves? And as CW walked through, she glanced down and saw the gloves? It gave me a little shudder - heaven knows what it did to CW.

To me that says, the victim was already being counseled about being abused when she/he implicated Chessie.

Not sure who "us" is, but it sure sounds like Chessie also thinks sissy may have rolled on her. I'm honestly not 100% sure she's guilty- ON THESE CHARGES, but I think the police may have found a perfect way to put a wedge in the sisterly love.

Sadly, the phrase "sisterly love" grosses me out when referring to this family, but you guys know what I mean :)

I totally agree with your whole post, exactly how I feel. I keep thinking she knew about certain things but turned a blind eye...either as a trade or bc she was so stoned outta her mind at the time.

Also, I caught the "us" & wondered briefly if she was referring to herself & Brittney fwiw.

There was another faux pas when she mentioned innocent people in jail... Did you catch it?

:dunno: Her charges go back fours years ago? Wasn't she pregnant? I hope her young children are going to be alright.

I totally agree! She sticks up for RSW but not for Wendy? She can't for Derek bc he admitted it himself. So maybe Wendy added more fuel to the fire... Could this have something to so with how her bond got lowered?

I can't work out if she's on something or just a complete state. The crying noises don't match up with the actual tears coming out. She has damp eyes at one point but it looks like self pity at her situation.

I sincerely hope that the truth will come out now for Brittney. I've been following this for a while now but never felt I had anything useful to add so hello to everyone. CW's arrest has bought me out the woodwork.

Steph, when you check in, really sincerely prayed VERY hard for you guys last night. Woke up this morning & immediately thought of you. You seem like an amazing person. Stay strong, you have much support here. Wanted to let you know that its nice to see & read about somebody that stands for TRUTH, that's you. I love how you're up front & beat people to the punch just to get stuff out there & outta the way, so as the case can move on without being deterred. I'll bet Wally puts you on a pedestal right about now, which is right where you deserve to be.

I wanted to pop in this morning and say I have not left y'all. As you can guess I was very overwhelmed with FB last night plus the 2 interviews i did. I am at work now and will try to pop in and answer questions on lunch and break. I will also be picking up Payton after work it's my time with her. But tomorrow afternoon I will be on full force with y'all...

I'm glad to hear one of Brittney's fb pages is being kept updated. I'm guessing another probably won't be. Certainly not with the latest news, anyway.
 
Wait, did she say she doesn't even know who the victim is? I'm taken aback by her statement there bc in every charging document I've ever read, the victim is always listed.

Yes she said in the video she didn't know. Chessie can't open her mouth without telling some version of a lie.
 
I hope this leads to a break in brittney's case but like Steph said, they need someone outside to step in, the FBI or someone.

To say haven't done nothing suggests the opposite bc of the use of "have not" & "nothing".

To say didn't have nothing to do with suggests the opposite bc of the use of "did not" & nothing".

Nothing doesn't equal Anything or Something... Just sayin'. Her use of context is very off.
 
Wow, I have a lot to catch up on. I have been following the case of Dylan Redwine. Sadly, his remains where found yesterday. It was announced yesterday around 2:30 MDT. I have been focused on the details coming out on his case. I totally missed the news on Chessie!!!
