I think Brit knew long ago about her mother I think she was possibly there.
Remember Chessie saying Brit would be able to clear things up or something along those lines.

I do not think she got in that truck to confront DH. They \ knew LE was looking to talk to both of them.... THEY KNEW and they did something about it they both ran but in different directions. JMO

Now I understand (I think) the reason some think BW willingly left. So she wouldn't have to testify against relatives? Or be questioned by LE?

Should this end up being the case, BW should reappear after the trials are over.

I think she would or could come back at a later time after they are all in jail but that is only if she has no fear they will not charge her along with the rest of her family which I think is why she took off in the first place.

I always respect your opinion, but I don't agree. One problem I have with your theory is Brittney's involvement with this clan. I personally don't believe this victim would contact Brittney via Facebook and confide in her if Brittney was involved with the group of people that raped this young girl. I tend to believe the victim would know what involvement if any Brittney had with this clan. In my opinion, there is a reason the victim chose to reach out to Brittney. After being abused, trust does not come easy. I tend to believe there is a reason this victim trusted Brittney.

Persecuting the victim is probably not only not a favorite(at least of mine) but wrong to do in general. There is little(no) doubt that Brittney was a victim of this "clan" as you call it. There has been NO evidence that Brittney raped or molested ANY children. Personally, not only do I disagree but I think to suggest that is horrible without one shred of evidence to support such an accusation. Was she aware of what was going on? My guess is yes, or LE wouldn't have talked so much about how Brittney was the one that could tie it all together. That is a far cry from saying she was involved in raping, abusing, molesting and torturing kids.

Have paternity tests been done on CW's older children? Most particularly BW.

To my knowledge no one person has come forward and said yes I saw Britt & DH together that night. The reason LE puts him picking her up is, the phones apart then together for over 4 hrs @ Styx River. Along with some other things I don't believe I'm at liberty to share just yet. But I DO agree with LE that he picked her up in the neighborhood of CW, MWK & DK that night. I have often wondered if he didn't drive straight up to CW's door to pick her up. As is has been said there is some truth in all lies.

And as far as that being her battery found in DH's truck by WWH & then given to CW.


I would like to state for the record I do NOT believe that is/was Britt's battery, it's too convenient along with the statement that Britt ALWAYS kept 2 bullets in her/the gun that no one other than CW & Paul knew about.

reedus, we've been shown very little evidence at all. However when looking at the big picture, we have a young lady who family members describe as spending most of her days partying and using meth. Chessie said Brittney carried a gun for her protection. Chessie Wood, told WKRG that Derek and Brittney were extremely close. She told the network: 'They have the same friends, run the same places, I mean they're like this.

Then we learn Derek and cousin Paul JR are arrested for sex crimes against children. Chessie herself is arrested for sex crimes against children.

"Pretty much everyone in this extended family was having sex with one another and having sex with the children," said (Assistant District Attorney, Nicki) Patterson.

So when we discuss the possibility that Brittney might be included in the described extended family, it isn't too unreasonable. It might lead us to learn more of what Brittney was dealing with when she disappeared. It's a difficult topic for sure, but I think it merits exploration. That said, all of us here are Team Brittney, no matter what happened.

Please change any of the above timeline for corrections. I keep reading this over and over.

My thoughts are something happened to BW between 11:20 pm & 12:07 am.

At 12:07 someone called BW's VM, and hung up quickly, before listening to any message if there were any.

One hour 40 min later the last ping from BW cell pings from Grand Bay exit. (question: so this would mean BW cell phone died, battery was removed, or phone destroyed?)

So, BW either willingly disappeared or someone/s disappeared her.

A. Willingly: to avoid questioning or testifying.
B. Unwillingly: to shut her up.

There is no warrant for her regarding any of these abuse cases. This means no child/person has stated BW was involved. LE has nothing connecting BW with these abuse crimes. There would be a warrant for her arrest if she is suspect in these crimes, lack of whereabouts doesn't stop LE from issuing a warrant, in fact it would help find BW to issue a warrant.

If someone/s shut BW up, I don't think they would leave any remains to be found. (I'm so sorry Steph, I think you did touch on this when you mentioned wildlife before)

More than CW, I think the weeping widow has the answers.

My heart breaks for Brittney and her family. I really want to rehash this until we hit on something that can help us find the answers.

As to a warrant for Brittney, I'm not sure how we would know if there is one or not. I don't think there was a warrant for Donnie, only a request that he report for questioning. We know LE wanted to question Brittney too.

If Brittney is in hiding, for whatever reason, I doubt LE would say they have a warrant for her. Seems to me she'd only go deeper into hiding.

Steph, could you please tell us more about the Styx River setting? Are there several homes there? Are they close enough that neighbors would be aware of comings and goings? Wasn't Donnie staying with friends there? I had the address once but I've since misplaced it.

From Water World Road to Tillmans Corner 39 miles. To Grand Bay, 51 miles. So 80 to 100 mile round trip for Donnie that night. Twice that if he did indeed pick her up.

I wondered about that too! It would be clever- if one were a murderer, (sort of clever) to ring/text a victims phone after the act- a la Jodi Arias-to throw LE off your scent, so to speak. But, if Donnie was suicidal. as well as homicidal, that night, it would be hard to credit that he would bother doing that. Makes you wonder, huh?

As gliving said so well - "It's a difficult topic for sure, but I think it merits exploration. That said, all of us here are Team Brittney, no matter what happened."

Hope I can bring this up as just my own thoughts with no intention to imply anything in particular.

It just seems so convenient that DH must've harmed Brittney or helped her get out of town, yet he keeps her little gun so he could shoot himself. Convenient that the story places him and Brittney together. She disappears, and he shoots himself a day or so later.

It bothers me that DH lingered and did not die immediately, and he suffered. His "suicide" was poorly executed. I still think he would plan it so he didn't have to suffer. Then, I considered if someone else did it, why not finish the job and make sure he's dead. It occurs to me that someone may have wanted him to suffer, who knows, but he sure was in critical condition and couldn't talk.

It depends on if you believe DH did himself in, or so it seems, to be able to tell what happened to Britt.

There may have been some other people or other secrets that had to be protected, but I have no idea what to think.

Brittney still hasn't been found, so there's always that HOPE. Brittney could have been fooled somehow to leave,
or helped to leave, or taken against her will because she knew something crucial.
