No. They wouldn't have had time to do that and arrive where the sheriff's vehicle was found within 8 minutes.

“'We did get a video from a service station within two blocks of the shopping center and it was a timestamp for 9:49 a.m. The timestamp when they left the detention center was 9:41 a.m. So that’s an eight-minute window there, and that is what the amount of time it takes to make that drive,' said Singleton."

You have to be careful with what "others know." I once worked a place where the manager would tell other employees that another employee was doing something wrong. She would get them gossiping about that employee every time that employee would leave the office. This resulted in false information and accusations against the target employee. The target employee would end up quitting or getting fired. Then, the manager would target someone else. This happened over and over again. When I gave my notice to leave, it was turned on me. I was accused of saying things I didn't and the others claimed they heard me say them. It was like they were hypnotized or something. They parroted whatever the manager told them.

Possibly misdirection? What do you need for a do-it-yourself poor quality paint job? How much time for a poor-quality job? A place where neighbors won’t see you. A way to buy the paint—I’d think she’d be memorable, even assuming she bought it beforehand.

Yesterday during the press conference the sheriff said the patrol car was seen on camera at a stop light 9 minutes after it left the jail so there would not have been time for her to drive from the courthouse to where the car was spotted on camera.

April Davis sounds as though she tried out being ‘April’ at some time before she was married. But the other one sounds like a genuine alias—possibly from when she bought the orange Ford Edge—assuming that’s what happened.

Who in the world would drive an orange car when they are on the run? It sticks out like a sore thumb. This is total speculation, but perhaps she is trying to stage a DC sniper-situation where the public and authorities are searching for the wrong vehicle. Maybe they started with this car so that it would be included in the BOLO but she stashed another vehicle somewhere else. MOO.

“Investigators received information from inmates at the Lauderdale County Detention Center over the weekend that there was a special relationship between Director White and inmate Casey White," Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton said in a statement Tuesday. "That relationship has now been confirmed through our investigation by independent sources and means."

However, LE said that ‘independent sources and means’ had confirmed what the inmates said. I don’t know what that additional info is. ‘Means’ might be camera/phone info?
