Credible source re: finding CW's shackles.

Officials tell WAFF that Casey is a free man and no longer restrained.

“We found her radio, sheriff’s department radio and the leg shackles and handcuffs,” said Singleton.

Detectives also believe Vicky has her phone but it is turned off.

“It wasn’t left in the car. You know, we’ve attempted using technology. We haven’t had any success with it,” said Singleton.

Missing Alabama inmate, corrections officer had 'special relationship': Sheriff

“Investigators received information from inmates at the Lauderdale County Detention Center over the weekend that there was a special relationship between Director White and inmate Casey White," Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton said in a statement Tuesday. "That relationship has now been confirmed through our investigation by independent sources and means."
I can't even with this sheriff. "Special" relationship? No sir, it's called an inappropriate relationship. jmo

Neither Phil Campbell PD (creators of flyer) nor Lauderdale County Sheriff have the poster on FB anymore. Seems they're walking it back.

WAFF article featuring poster is still live. U.S. Marshals release possible vehicle information for escaped inmate, corrections officer
Yes, but that image is a screenshot of the Phil Campbell Police Department FB page, and their page no longer has the flyer.
Phil Campbell Police Department

Maybe LE is trying to keep their information to themselves, rather than let the convict and his paramour know what they have.

Is there evidence the suspect purchased the vehicle in Nashville? I only see that it was auctioned in Nashville. Typically, dealers buy at auction transport them to their lots that can be located anywhere in the country.
The VIN info link I posted only shows where the vehicle was purchased at the action. The rest of the info has to be paid for.

U.S. Marshals tell News 19 the flyer in circulation (pertaining to #CaseyWhite and #VickyWhite) is inaccurate. Lauderdale Co. Sheriff Rick Singleton tells @whnt another department released the flyer in error and it has "set us back now practically to square one."

This sounds like horseshoe dirt. The flyer was originally published by The Marshals Service. So, maybe they didn't want it released? But to say it is inaccurate? Then why publish it at all?

Mother of missing Lauderdale Co. corrections officer describes last morning together - WAAY TV
<snipped & BBM>
It's not only Vicky's mom who is worried. Her younger nephew has been anxiously waiting for his aunt to return home.

Davis said Vicky never intended on starting a career in law enforcement, but when the opportunity came up 16 years ago, she accepted.

"Somebody called her one day and said, 'Hey, there's an opening at the jail.' And she just took it, and she's been there ever since. I guess it was just a job," said Davis.
She started her career there 25 years ago, not 16.
