Makes me wonder what other info they’re holding onto. Sounds like they know that they stole a vehicle (or at least a vehicle was stolen) and maybe they put out a law enforcement alert to look for that particular vehicle in connection with this case.

Now we need to know when this new vehicle came into LE’s view in Indiana. What day? If they say it was found discarded Saturday morning then it doesn’t help us because they’ve already moved on.

WAAY 31 has learned U.S. Marshals and law enforcement in Evansville, Indiana, are working Monday morning to determine if a vehicle discovered there is part of the Casey White and Vicky White search.

They believe it is connected to the escape of Casey White and Vicky White, and that it may be a vehicle reported stolen from the area in Tennessee where the Ford Edge they left Florence in was found, according to a law enforcement official in Evansville.

The vehicle was reported stolen after the Edge was found abandoned in Tennessee on April 29, just hours after Casey White and Vicky White left the Lauderdale County Detention Center.

ETA If definite, then orange vehicle must have broken down unexpectantly and therefore they were forced to steal a vehicle.
 
I doubt VW was the sole mastermind of this effort. She set up several aliases which would require fake ID. There is a university in Florence so fake ID's would be common, but obtaining one would be risky, especially since it is obvious she is not an under-age college student. She bought a car and was able to position it for her escape. Moving two cars around with a single person is difficult. If she used an Uber, that likely would have been reported by now. IMHO, CW may have had an outside accomplice helping her. I also suspect CW had a destination in mind where he has family or friends willing to help him - and it is likely VW did not know that location in advance. A lot of her preparations for this were rushed and suspicious: Selling a $250K house for $90K and converting her assets to cash. If she had planned a destination, I suspect she would have left some type of digital trail.

If there is an outside accomplice, that person likely knows that CW and VW have tens of thousands of dollars in cash on them and likely represents a major threat to them. Unless the accomplice is close family, CW may choose to eliminate him.

JMO...but if it IS a car taken by the pair, then that indicates they may be making a run at Canada. A bit of a surprise, but not too shocking, either.

They should already be in Canada by now. I wonder how long ago the car was actually physically abandoned? I can’t believe they have been on the run all this time.

Duty weapon or personal weapon? I'm not arguing she wasn't armed. I'm just questioning if she conducted her job armed. She walked out armed or unarmed nonchalantly with a prisoner trailing her - anyone manning the cameras inside seeing that should have been alarmed. But that's another topic for rolling eyes emojis!

I gotta admit if she planned to go to Canada then all that “Florida beach” talk fooled everyone including me! Canada extradites though so who knows. Is it easier to get on a plane in Canada?

It’s an easy drive. Lots of back roads in Indiana too. This only tells us about their past moves, I have a feeling. But at least it will get the Midwest looking for him.

Canada doesn’t extradite if someone might get the death penalty, though. (Last I heard, anyway.)

I used to live up there in N. Indiana when younger. There are a lot of wilderness cabins in Michigan and then up north along the “boundary waters”. Also a lot of Amish in N. Indiana. LOL CW could wear Amish clothes and I swear nobody would ever find him as long as he lives.
