So, in reading between the lines, it sounds as if G's brother is describing a sort of sugar daddy relationship but at the same time, not really, as he makes no allegations of her bleeding him for money or whatever.

MOO, she was not "in a relationship" with G. She may have considered him a friend, but I don't think it was a GF BF type relationship. I think he liked her and was happy to help her out with the kids, perhaps even in hopes that by showing himself an involved male model with the kids, he might someday convince her to take their relationship to a GF BF level.

Total speculation on my part, but it is my feel for the moment.

The one video mentions a man named "Jeff". I don't know if this was the man JG considered was "sharing" the mother or if it was Deandra, but Jeff had the same addy as the mother when I checked. He's 46, iirc.

His wife left him and returned to CA shortly after moving back to AL. How much did he have to pay her...or was paying her? That would "hurt" his finances as well. Sorry to say it appears he was a very vunerable man in this day of age. You can't be careful enough, imo.

I believe Wells Fargo can accept donations for the account set up for Girdner at ANY Wells Fargo. You may need to know the name of the account. I'm sure it's Jack Mac Girdner of something of that nature. I plan to make my donation this weekend.

As for the case, I haven't read yet how this guy encountered Girdner and the kids on the fateful day. We had discussed a possible carjacking. Did I just read that he met up with him because the guy inquired about buying the car? Or was that on some previous occasion?

I think he was the "ya can't take it with you" type because someone had syphoned off all his money. Perhaps this someone is now stating that they were just good friends. (Mom told the police that she and Dr. Girdner were only good friends. Dr. Girdner had told his brother that THEY WERE DATING X 3 YEARS.) Dr. Girdner's brother found letters (while searching for the missing Last Will and Testament) which showed that mom was having a fling with Dr. Girdner and Deandra at the same time. Dr. Girdner had responded in the letters that he didn't want to share a woman.

His family can't bury him yet because all of his money has gone "poof". The family is coming in tomorrow. One brother and a SIL apparently lived very close to Dr Girdner. They only have $900 to bury a person that likely earned close to a half a million dollars/year before he retired. His Last Will and Testament and any life insurance policies/burial policies he might have purchased are MISSING. Hmmmmm.

On the last video in the series above, the reporter states that she heard Deandra had robbed Dr. Girdner previously before this mass murder.
The reporter also states that she heard the mom had been fired from her previous job at a juvenile correctional facility because she was inappropriately having a relationship with an inmate (Deandra).

Although Terrye knew Dr. Girdner's brother and knew that he lived nearby and was very close to his brother, she didn't bother to call Dr. Girdner's brother during the three days that her kids were missing to ask him if he knew where Dr. Girdner could have gone with her children. Hmmmmmm.

It does raise some questions about the death of the twins' father. And I hate even typing this, but is it known if there was a life insurance policy on the kids themselves? :(

I thought maybe there would be a victims assistance fund to help with funeral expences.

The brother mentioned on one of those videos that he and some others set up a burial fund for Dr. Girdner because all of his money is GONE. At the time of that video, only $900 had been donated into the fund.

Dr. Girdner had a retirement/pension fund check and a social security check coming in every month according to his brother, but for some reason he couldn't make his house payment and hadn't made it in months.

The brother stated that Dr. Girdner was generous and took needy people out to lunch, but taking a few needly people out to lunch every week shouldn't have wiped out this man's monthly pension and social security check. Anesthesiologists make close to half a million/year.

Dr. Girdner had enough money and excellent credit to get a mortgage on the $300,000 home he had been living in for years. What happened that suddenly he was penniless? I can't imagine that someone who went 8 years to college, completed one year of internship, and then completed 4-5 years of an anesthesiology residency learning to be meticulously safe and prepared for patient emergencies didn't have a Last Will and Testament. He would have wanted to leave anything of value to his family or his church. Where is his Last Will and Testament ? Who is going to say they are Dr. Girdner's "family" if he is found to have any assets? :silenced:

That was the story that Terrye told Dr. Girdner's brother. The brother talked about this story in his newly released interview. There is no telling at this time if that is the truth. Terrye interestingly mentioned how Dr. Girdner gave Deandra one of his personal cards with his address on it.
I hope LE found this card because I'm thinking that it has someone else's fingerprints on it besides Dr. Girdner's and Deandra's.

"Terrye Moore was in a relationship with my brother and the kids loved him," Kenny Girdner said. Jack Mac's youngest sibling says they were in a relationship for three years; something he didn't find out about until three months ago.
In an exclusive interview last week, Terrye Moore said Girdner was a friend of three years.
"That contradicts what my brother says," Girdner explained.
Kenny says pictures of the twins and their mother are still on the refrigerator and in picture frames in his brother's home and says it's a sign of his love for the twins and their mother.
"That's what he told me," Girdner said.
While searching for Jack's insurance information, Kenny says he found a letter from Jack that indicated Terrye was seeing him and another man, who is her current boyfriend.
"He couldn't share a woman, and that she had to choose," Girdner said.

I think Terrye "chose" and the financial help from Dr. Girdner began to dry up which made some people VERY angry.

This case stinks to high hevens. I hope LE can unravel the "money trail" which might lead to a clue.

Is it possible that Mr. Girdner was in the early stages of dementia/Alzheimers and was more vulnerable?

I would also wonder if he had life insurance policies out there somewhere. The fact that no papers were found at the house is very hinky. If there are policies, I hope someone puts in a claim to bring them to light.

JG's brother mentioned that they would invite him over for the holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) because he didn't have anyone. Yet, if he was seeing her for three years, I guess he kept it secret and they spent the holidays apart. ???
I'm still confused on the church(es) as well. So she went to the baptist church and he is 7 day adventists? Is that correct? He was known to church hop?....for lack of better word.

Unless the wife really took him to the cleaners when they divorced, he should have been OK financially. The brother should go thru his financials as well as LE and find an explanation. I guess the brother could hire an estate lawyer and be appointed the executor and that would give him legal access to start, but of course, that is another expense. I wish someone from the church, if in finance or accounting will step up to help his family.

So much is just not making sense.

Article clears up one point, Mr G was a nurse anesthetist, not an anesthesiologist as reported in msm. So more than likely not as wealthy as theorized.

Nurse anesthetists are making $180,000/year where I live and over $160,000 in most states according to a recent salary article in a nursing journal I recently read. His brother stated that he worked in anesthesia in the Vietnam War, so he had this career for half a century. Even if he was only a CRNA, he shouldn't have been completely destitute. Something was happening to his money, IMO.

I do agree, something happened to his money.
He should have not been in arrears on house. NA make a good salary, just not as much as MD
Still, where did his money go?
He had children - college? helping out?, indulgence?
Family members? (not to be disrespectful, but he had large immediate family, and they couldn't pay for funeral?) although, seems something was worked out, as services are scheduled now
Lastly, taken advantage of by someone who used her adorable children to get monetary things?
Seems there's still a lot to be learned about Mr G's finances.
Rip
All of the above :moo:, not to be read as anything else, just theorizing.

Did someone malevolent volunteer to manage his finances and was he becoming a little forgetful or senile?

In the interview with the brother, it is stated that Terrye was living with Mr. Girdner at one time. A comment under a local news article stated that the twins told people that Mr. Girdner was their stepdad.

I wish LE would release more info on this story.

Please, PLEASE don't misconstrue this as an accusation as it is NOT. It is simply an open question to be examined as a possibility. Frankly, I hope someone knows enough to be able to put this to rest quickly.

Could there have been addictions that account for the obvious oddities in this case? Drug addictions are not exactly unknown among the anesthetist and dental professionals. Also, a pornographic/sexual addiction could make this a mighty twisted case.

At this point, I am really wanting to hear from some third parties what kind of relationship this mother had with her children. I am so hoping her children were NOT a premeditated part of a horrendous swindle. I'm also hoping, with the victim's history of 'helpful actions' that one of them was NOT buying life insurance with this mother as a beneficiary. :(
