I know lots of people who describe their children like this. I think it's an inner city/cultural thing. We grow up differently.

My cousin's two year old (almost 3 year old) is like this with adults. She literally isn't very friendly until she gets to know you and she will not go with just anyone. If I pick her up she hysterically screams. She will go to about 4 people willingly.
I guess I would have described my oldest as shy or hesitant, not unfriendly.

From the article:

[...]

"We’re growing more impatient,'' said Kamille’s father, 27-year-old Dominic McKinney. “We’re hurting. I don’t know what else to say.”

“I can’t imagine that being my daughter‚” Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin said Tuesday morning. “It’s tough for Kamille’s mother, her father, it’s tough for her grandparents ... to see the look on their face, to see the hurt in their heart and see the concern, genuine concern, about where their child, where their grandchild is.”

[...]

Police said the man with the limp is a suspect in the case. They have not said whether they have identified or located him. They asked that the other man in the video come forward as a witness in the case.

[...]

Birmingham police returned to his rented Woodside Condominiums home Monday evening to carry out a search warrant of the condo, which has been padlocked by the owner. Property management said police have been there almost every day, including over the weekend when they searched apartments that are now uninhabitable following an September fire there.

[...]

During the investigation into Kamille’s abduction, investigators learned that she had tried to contact the victims in the 2018 case, which was in violation of her bond. After a hearing Monday, a judge revoked Brown’s bond in last year’s charges.

[...]

Multiple search operations have been conducted – some of which have been made public, and many others that have not. They’ve used tracking dogs, and sometimes Jefferson County’s Star 1 helicopter.

Sorry to bring this up again, but the parking lot that IMO most resembles the background of the Toyota photo, has what looks like a storage shed. This is total speculation but could PS have been some type of maintenance person? This is why I want to know so badly if they had dogs that night! Could she have been brought to a building that is normally locked up, but someone with keys has access to? Maybe she was taken across 41st Place N. , and that is when the 11 yr old saw them. I hope that every nook and cranny of those projects was searched.

YES. The more and more I dig into this and go back over old MSM I am beginning to see likeness in that of the Relish Rudd case. And while all the details are not the same - yet they seem to be coming full circle. One thing that the father said in a early interview that just does NOT sit well with me - "she has nothing to do with this".
I am fearful that the outcome and closure for this this will end up being the same for that of RR. None. No outcome, never found, no justice. Nothing.

Agreed.
Which was why the fact that no one has been ruled out.
Someone knows vital information, and imo---needs to speak up and come clean to LE.

In his defense he did follow his comment up with saying she’s sweet and everyone loves cupcake. I think when he said unfriendly he was meaning she’s Got personality. She’ll tell u like it is kind of thing. A little bit of street smart in her. At least that’s how I took it. Moo

My mom would say “she’s a pistol”

I think you’re one street off in the aerial. If we have the video location correct she would have walked around the first build, through the middle of the 3 main building and cross the street to get close to that building.

I agree and I think a lot of the confusion about what the 11 year old saw can be explained if it happened like I think it may have happened.

I think the other girl on the video immediately told others what happened as she tried to explain what happened to Cupcake. So the minute she gets back to others and tells what happened, then the news would spread like wildfire through the other children partygoers and adults.

Everyone there at the party would almost immediately start sharing the same story that the single other child was explaining. This could explain why we heard about alleged statements from others about a man handing out candy in the day or two before the Video was released. All of that could have been just them retelling what they were told from others, and the only real source of that information could have been just the single other child with Cupcake.

Im afraid nobody else saw anything. It is shocking how quick she was taken and there was not much chance for anyone else to see anything.

And I am really afraid LE was blindsided when the arrested male person was able to bond out. I am afraid they did not see that coming. I sure hope they have a hard tail on him because if he disappears then its going to make this case all the more harder.

We need LE to tell us about the car's DNA evidence. Did it pan out or not that Cupcake was in that vehicle. If she was in there, I would think that would be enough for some sort of kidnapping charges.
I keep waiting for news of a conclusion to this case. There are so many opportunities for this to have been solved as far as who committed this crime. I can only believe at this point their main objective is physically finding Kamille. And by not revealling the kidnapper they are trying to have them reveal where she is.
1. DNA..ample time for results.
2. Second child in video had to have seen what happened after they went out of view on the video.
3. They say they know who, and even call him a suspect, the second person in the video is.
4. Grid search in area they knew he frequents? How do they know this and not know who he is?

So many things not explained and quite frankly make no sense to me. I am beginning to believe the information is coming totally from the street. And this is not a bad thing because the street usually knows more and is more willing to share it. I'm rambling here because I'm trying to be concise and stick to the logic and facts we know. This is just my opinion!

The words of her father and grandmother keep coming back to me. Both described her the same way -"she's not a friendly child, she won't go to just anybody". I feel sure she knew the 2nd guy, she didn't even hesitate before following him.

Hi ZsaZsa!

I'm not sure how much we can put into that being said. I've seen other family members of kidnapped children say the same.

In so many shows I've watched over the years where the parents are sitting right on a bench on a playground, have said they were positive their children wouldnt ever go anywhere with anyone they didn't know.

They were interviewed before the faux pedophile came onto the playground to see if they could be lured to leave with him.

Even with their parent sitting right there watching it all, time, and time again, one by one, he successfully lead the young children to go with him.

So I do believe Cupcake would go with a stranger, and I believe this is exactly what this beautiful little baby girl did.

I also do not believe she was taken for retaliation or to settle some drug debt. Imo

We have to remember pedophiles are very skilled in what they do. They know to appear very unassuming, caring, and kind. They know what key words to use to the targeted little victim. They have so many ways to immediately gain their trust. :(

Imo, we put too much on little children's shoulders as to what they should do with strangers, when we have seen countless grown men, and women who were lured away themselves only to wind up murdered by the strangers.

My heart breaks for Cupcake. Fgs, she's only 3 years old, and not aware there are truly evil people out there who wish to do her grave harm, and other little boys, and girls like her.

That is why it's so important for all parents to be very close by their young children so they can closely watch out for them, when they are out with others mingling around.

Jmhoo

Apparently, THE REWARD IS UP TO 33 THOUSAND DOLLARS I learned via this thread earlier today. 33k is worth being a snitch. You could easily afford to move, you could have a few very nice vacations, a very nice new car, a down payment on a new home. You could sit at home and watch Netflix and not work for a few months. You could be debt free or greatly reduce your debts. You could go to college or learn a new trade. Start a business. Scratch something off your bucket list.

My nieces hated my husband, we finally figured out they didn't like his mustache.

Not if you’re dead.

Maybe certain people would like us to believe she isn’t friendly, flip side.

My 9 year old daughter frequently watches that American show on YouTube (I forget the name) it’s staged situations to see people’s reaction. Right enough mostly all the fake kidnapping scenarios the children go with the stranger, it’s scary!

Does anyone know how old the 0ther child in the video of KM is? Some children are not real verbal at three or four, but some are My great nephew can carry on a conversation and he just turned two in August. If KM knew the second man changes are the other child knew him.

Not if you’re dead.

Hence the first option being to move....or travel.
Option 2: trade info for police/FBI protection perhaps is something to also consider & ask for.

Regardless, if you're someone who knows about any key details of the case because you hang around the type of people who do this sort of thing, time to reevaluate your life and form new friendships. My opinion only.

And a good opinion it is!
