Found Deceased AL - Paighton Houston, 29, left bar with 2 men, Birmingham, 20 Dec 2019 #5

So he’s been on LE’s radar since December 28, nearly 3 weeks! I really want to know how that came to be, plus how they then got more information for a warrant. Finally some concrete info coming.

These charges are to get him off the street, while they continue to gather and analyze evidence.

There will be much more serious charges coming, IMO.

For now....
It certainly would be much more comforting to know she OD’d but based on his history and the eerily similar prior conviction I think PH endured a far worse fate.

Agree. Heartbreaking for her friends and family either way but especially if she endured assault.

It would appear that she was with at least one "heavy set black male" based on the description of the suspect that LE has provided.

I just realized December 28 was SIX days before her body was found on January 2.

Did LE know she was buried on 12/28? Could they have bugged his phone or car and that’s where the “tip” came from?

I really want to know how they connected this guy to PH a week before she was even found!

Are we sure it is the same warrant?
If so, a standoff may indicate that he expects more charges (kidnapping, rape, murder?) to come later. Or maybe any additional crime will mean he gets an effective life sentence. MOO
