I'm sure her Dad is unable to work and earn income while dealing with all of Brit's stuff. I don't have a problem with him drawing a salary.

It is clear that he cannot work and care for her and her affairs. I don't think this is any different than an executor who charges an estate for time spent sorting it out.... it's not like the guy is getting ready to give an interview and sell it to say, Us magazine, for a million (cough, Lufti,cough)...

I agree. He worked long hours as a cook running his own catering business. We have friends that are caterers who make more than $2500. a week but they work very hard. From what I understand he has not gotten any money from Brit for years. Not so with the mom as her manager. I don't understand why some people are upset that Britney bought her mother a house. I can't find a link for it but if she did whose name is on it and is it in joint tenancy? I read everyday that when a movie star or athlete makes it "big" they buy a house for their mother. Britney had her brother and sister living there and she would not want to come home to that little house she lived in when she was growing up. She used to go home a lot. As for her father who is a recovering alcoholic $2500. isn't enough when you think what he has done so far. Behind closed doors Britney has to be difficult and he knows that he's responsible for her. As far as the mother goes she cut Britney loose way too young, but i was not in her shoes. By the time she tried to put her foot down Britney's handlers and enourmous wealth were in the way. The only people Britney has saved money with are her parents who have spent all their time and energy trying to get her help and are sincerely interested in the welfare of their grandchildren. Britney lost her kids with her hotshot attorneys and is paying KF;s attorneys too. Now that her parents have stepped in she seems to be improving mentally and she's getting visitation with her children.

LOL...that cough is something medicine can't cure isn't it!?! I soooo agree with you. The Lufti guy is scum! I am still pulling for Britt to get better.

What I wrote is that Britt has been taking care of her family from almost the time she was a young teen. I have no doubt that Britt is a handful behind closed doors. Heck, she is that way in public! I just don't think her dad should take the money. JMO. I know that I wouldn't do that. I also think that her ex should pay his own attorney bills, and should NOT be living off his children's child support. I know that I always paid my own attorney when I was fighting custody. I think MOST people in the "real world" do the same when they are fighting for their kids.

I know her Dad is a chef/caterer.

It's entirely possible he grosses 2.5K a week doing that. I think her Dad absolutely needs to be compensated for his time...he's away from work and taking care of his daughter 24/7!!

Britt's attorney, Stacy Phillips, dug up a $365 dollar restaurant tabe, on top of which K-Fed tipped a whopping $2000! Plus, Kevin purchased $20,000 worth of bling, which he billed as a business fee. Another interesting revelation is that a credit card, carried by Shar Jackson, is also billed to his business.

I can't get your link to work. Nothing surprises me though. He is a loser and a cheat. I hope the IRS gets into the action. It happens when stuff like this comes to light.

I said MONTHS ago that KFed would have a whole different attitude if HE had to pay his own bills. It's easy to be noble when someone ELSE is paying the bills! And yeah, Shar (and KFeds kids with her) are NOT BRITNEY's RESPONSIBILITY!

KFed's attorneys (multiple) are in court (and ON TV) every time the doors open...billing Brit. If KFed is so darn interested in the misc court hearings regarding Brit and his sons maybe HE should be there.

I hope the judge shuts down the Britney Gravy Train for KFed AND his attorney. If KFed can leave $2K tip (A week's salary for a LOT of people), he can certainly pay his own legal bills now. And what's with Shar having a credit card that gets billed back to KFed (and thus Britney)? And if KFed can leave his sons to play golf and travel all over the country, he can now spend some of that free time earning a living.

I am glad KFed wants to be a "daddy" and wants to have custody of his children BUT a LOT of parents do that without charging their ex spouse for all their legal bills AND all their living expenses including a credit card for their children with another partner. KFed is NEVER going to make as much money as Brit, but he can darn sure learn to LIVE on his own income except for expenses directly related to his children with Britany. IMO KFed's lawyers (and to some extent KFed) have ALSO taken advantage of Britney's illness and hopped on the unlimited money bandwagon ...shame on the judges for allowing that! It's prejudicial against Britney - "let's have her pay and pay and pay because she's so rich and so out of it, she'll never miss a few million". For a while there, Brit lost every time she went to court - and paid and paid and paid. No wonder she gave up fighting....

I guess KFed will just have to get by with the "bling" he already has for a while and spend that $20K on his kids with Shar or his attorney fees.

Keep on it Jamie-Dad, it's time some of the leeches hanging on Britney got knocked off - time some of the expenses for Jayden and Sean were properly divided between BOTH their parents! In the end, it will benefit your grandsons to have BOTH parents contributing to their well-being and support!

The lawyer for the Brit conservatorship is arguing as we speak to slash K-Daddy's legal bills and is asking the judge to make Federleezy pay at least a portion of the bill himself.

Stacy Phillips told Commissioner Scott Gordon that Kaplan is entitled to $150,000 -- $175,000 tops -- for his legal bills over the last four months. Kaplan told the Commish he wants between $400,000 and $500,000.

The court has already ordered Brit to pay Kevin's "reasonable" attorney's fees. Phillips argued K-Fed is not that hurtin' for cash -- noting he goes to parties and throws around $2,000 tips, spends $20,000 in jewelry and uses his credit card like a motha.

Kaplan told the judge he and his partner, Jim Simon, bill around $600 an hour, claiming, "I believe we are under market for the package you get when you hire our firm." Phillips blanched, claiming it was totally unnecessary for both lawyers to attend all the court hearings.

The judge just threw reporters out of the courtroom and closed the hearing.

Good! Finally someone is seeing that he should contribute his part. Being a parent is NOT an excuse for not working and living off your "CHILDREN'S" child support. It is called "child" support for a reason.
