There seem to be a few P's in that lot above Liadan, but I think it was P Cranna who was prepared to put up the 50K?

I guess the Pete in the blog could be anyone though, as many people would know a few Peters.

Yes so true but Pete Cranna (your rite) was the one who was going down the line for him- so it would make sense that he was the one GBC was talking about. He is on executive team on the Churches for Christ Board.

Gosh just reading some more of his blogs - sounds like such a Thomas Tank (Cockney Rhyming Slang). He seems to rave on about ethics a lot.

This one is kind of ironic...

"We’ve all heard the stories about the couple that buys a run-down home, renovates it within an inch of its life and ultimately recoups hundreds of thousands dollars’ profit on their initial outlay. (You usually hear these loudly embellished at barbecues and later go home to kick the cat.) We’ve also heard the stories about the couple that does the same thing and loses the lot: their savings, their dreams and unnecessary years off their lives."

33] Pursuant to s.305(2) of the Criminal Code, it is ordered that you must not be
released from imprisonment until you have served a minimum of 35 years
imprisonment, unless released sooner under exceptional circumstances parole under
the Corrective Services Act 2006.

Hayley Lewis may be remembered as the 15-year-old "girl next door" who swept to fame in 1990 by winning five gold medals at the Auckland Commonwealth Games, but former Olympian and now business woman, wife and mother, Hayley Lewis was inspirational at the Century 21 National Conference on Hamilton Island. Most participants must have had goose bumps watching film of her record-breaking races as well as hearing her speak as she shared her powerful yet simple message. “Be in the right frame of mind”; “surround yourself with positive people”; and “worship thy body” – phrases made the more appropriate because they were delivered by an exceptional young woman whom we all know has “walked the talk”.

MORE-

Shane Radbone spoke on the final day of the Convention and provided important inspiration to our franchisees and staff. It was a fitting way to conclude our conference with his motivating, down to earth words. Shane is a man familiar with life’s challenges, and a living example of how to work smarter not harder in order to live a balanced life. Shane said life is made up of CHOICES, your SUCCESS is an ATTITUDE, and ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! His presentation was what he has learnt from his sporting and business careers as well as the people with whom he has interacted. It is a powerful story about turning negatives into positives, and about having the right attitude for success – his theme was highly appropriate for his attentive audience: ”People, Success and Life”.

The end of the longest trial in Queensland's history...

MAX Sica has been sentenced to a non-parole period of 35 years - the longest term ever ordered in Queensland

After a 77-day criminal trial - the longest in Queensland legal history

I can't see GBC's trial being anywhere near that long...

I think the GBC trial may move along a little quicker, if this article below is has any bearing on the trial process.
