I am not sure that that is the route but have just found this article, which given my inability to link I will copy, but the police will have been able to track all their phones if they were IPhones as Apple apparently stores all that data for all their phones.BBM

Thanks for the info Rational....I think if police were able to pull up that facetime call they'd have no problemo pulling up locations at all. Itunes also holds info on locations....I posted a link about that some time back.

Also...just as an example, although it wouldn't have been an iphone she had at the time back in 2003, but the phone records/locations/calls/texts were all picked up by police in the Casey Anthony case & were all online for everyone to see.

It's a screen capture of a google map I assume has been modified to appear similar to the police map. The google route says to go west on Brookfield vs down Boscombe, which is the first dot signifying where they altered the google route.

The second place the duplicate map has been altered looks to be at the roundabout with winrock st coming off it. It's not different enough zoomed out for me to see how it is altered from the google route. It's not far off.

However, what has not been sleuthed properly is how he might have travelled out to Anstead - is there a back way that would kept him off the main roads?

We need the information from locals as they travel these roads, whereas if you live in another part of Brisbane and don't know the area, it is difficult making assumptions looking at a map MOO

Ok...here goes an extended version of my earlier post re the cars/phones/pings....

I'm going with that map.....EBC drops NBC close to BC's house (can't have her car being seen in the grounds of the BC house)....both GBC & NBC travel via Rafting Ground Rd to Kholo/Anstead.

GBC in the Captiva, NBC in the Prado with all intentions of leaving the Captiva at the creek or whichever location they left her body at,... to make it appear she'd suicided. Once they removed her body they found the blood in back of the car so the Captiva can no longer be left at that site.

GBC & NBC return to the Brookfield home via Rafting Ground Rd....NBC leaves the Prado there..perhaps helps NBC with some of the cleanup.....GBC then drops NBC at roundabout bus shelter. Can't have either the Captiva or the Prado being seen at the parent's home. (What is the "unusual" thing police had asked about??....an old man sitting at a bus shelter late at night in my book would be very unusual.) There he waits for EBC to pick him up.

I think perhaps police timed the whole trip going by the ping locations of not only GBC's phone but also NBC's phone as they both most likely had one each throughout the entire night. Then also, EBC would have had a phone so pings would have been taken from that one too.

Do you have an opinion or were you able to find out any more information on the hair banding question (ante mortem/post mortem) with regards to the hair strand evidence found in the car? Can you really tell?

And if yes, is it admissible in Australian court?

Hi Summer B Sorry - I think I must have missed that question. I tend to catch up in spurts, whenever I get a break or late at night, and as such, much of it is skimming. So apologies for missing the question.

Saturday evening, after going to the bridge mid Saturday, I developed a couple of itchy hives on my chest (above where the clothing went to). For ages I thought it was just some random thing, then I looked up closer and there was a little black dot at the centre of the much larger roundish welt. Once I dug in a little with my fingernail and removed the black dot the irritation went straight away, no more itchiness. While I was at the bridge I am sure one of the people said to me Watch out for the Castor Oil tree, and pulled me back as I was walking. Is this what a castor oil tree does? My immediate though was catepillar, but I don't think so, lol.

Nads, that is interesting as I had an itchy, stinging spot on my right shoulder on Saturday night, as if I had been bitten by an insect - not sure of the castor oil plant as don't know anything about them.

A later update has rectified that issue with tracking, from memory it was a few months after this all (iPhone tracking) came out in the press.

LOVE your theory Marly. It's probably the most logical, especially with the map that you have found. BTW thank you - I had not seen this map, but also need to say that it's completely stuffed up my theory! I was sure that GBC picked up NBC on the way out to Kholo! Bugger!

Anyway, based on your theory, I'm also wondering if EBC (or maybe OW) stayed to watch the girls. GBC and NBC then travelled out to Kholo Crossing. On the way back, they dropped off the second car and then travelled to Kenmore Village to dispose of a blanket/carpet in the industrial bins. GBC left NBC there. NBC walked over and waited at bus stop (crying and in shock) whilst GBC headed home and let EBC or OW go. EBC or OW then picked up NBC from the bus stop. GBC spent the rest of the night cleaning and planning his story. All IMO.

I don't disagree but why are there not more arrests in that case? If they have access to the phones locations, and i am if the view they have, of presumably all of the BCs why are they still running around and have it been taken in?

I don't think they'd be able to go anywhere. I think they'd both be watched wherever they go so they're not really free in true sense of the word. Perhaps police may be waiting for one or both to crack.

ALso in that same article it says that turning off the location services on your phone will not stop the tracking data being recorded. So as long as their was some life in Allison's phone (which according to QPS it was for a day or so after she went missing) this data should be stored by Apple and be able to be extracted by QPS

This may be why we have not heard more about the phone missing, but why the defence asked for more time to prepare for the committal hearing as they were still waiting for more phone records.

Mmm I may have answered my own question above as to why there have not been more arrests.

Radster, back to OW..... I asked many questions in the beginning as to why, when she lives in Townsville, and has a family to tend to was she in Brisbane right at the time? most responses thought that she came over the weekend, but no one actually knew. anyway it didnt gel. Highly Highly Suspect.

What was also highly suspect was her standover behaviour during the interview, and her ' leading' the public towards the depression theory, when only the day before she had said that SHE SPOKE TO ALLISON THE NIGHT BEFORE AND SHE WAS HER USUAL HAPPY SELF!

If OW spoke to Allison the night before...I am going to bet my right arm she was not her usual happy self. I wonder if she was so pissed of and not her usual happy self, that OW felt it necessary to come down to Brisbane, you know, just to 'help'

OW was in Brisbane on 15th April.

Her brother in Canada had a baby boy, which she announced on the 18th.

I wondered if this baby boy was a source of contention to GBC. The family is so obsessed with the name, and until this baby was born there were only girls. GBC has three and his brother has one. Finally there was a boy to carry on the name! Did he get angry and throw that at ABC that she had only given him girls and not the son he needed? (It fits with the NPD, which is why I thought it could have been one of the things they fought about.)

I've re-posted squizzeys posts plenty of times thanks mani ...he was never told the exact time by his friend.

There was also another member who saw an old man at the bus shelter so it wasn't only squizzey.

I have also been confused about this lately... In the first reported sighting posted he was supposedly seen around 11.30pm.. The person who stopped to ask if he was ok and knew him... Then I read another post that said he was there at 3am...

Was NBC seen twice at the bus stop? If not and if it was only once, what time was it?

Mr Mahony said Baden-Clay had no inkling an arrest would take place on Wednesday and had made plans for later in the week.

It's understood there won't be any further arrests

I am so far behind..not sure when I'll catch up! too tired to go through all tonight.. My belief from the statement made in MSM that they understood there won't be anymore arrests.. was that it is likely there will be at some point down the track. They also understood there was no visible signs of foul play, I believe its likely there were, after further reports and despite the defence saying different at the bail hearing. Also the fact GBC was no longer a POI and then there was no comment on it..when in fact he was POI and suspect numero uno from day 1. Often its a case of read between the lines of what is being said. it is very often carefully worded and strategic on behalf of the QPS.

Forgive me for not being clued up on this in advance, but one question: the photos of inside the car—is that definitely Allison's blood? It seems to contradict the defence's evidence of only a chipped tooth, and that there were no signs of trauma from which she could have bled. Sorry to be graphic, just trying to get a clearer picture. There seems to be a degree of confusion regarding the evidence (though that may just be me)!

Without finding a link right at the moment as I am Sooooooo tired and about to head off.. The prosecution have said it is Allisons Blood. To be honest I am not putting too much weight in what the defence has said at the bail hearing. The Prosecution did not have to reveal all their evidence and I am sure it stated there was more forensics to come back. I don't know that the defence had access to all the autopsy details(?)
