Good point Nads, or maybe a combination of both.

Perhaps TM spilled her guts because of evidence that he (allegedly now) committed murder. Rather than that he cheated on her.

If I was TM I would give up the goods pronto and get the hell away from here.

Checking in for news, I must say takes me awhile to find thread now :( Looks like "no news" yet...(Wont stress about catching up..)

It would be interesting to know how keen TM was to be with GBC I mean could she ostensibly turn a blind eye to the fact that GBC was going remove Allison from his situation.

I think there would have been many times in their conversations that TM would have had the when are you leaving her conversation with GBC. I mean - she is practically accepted as a D-IL for the senior BC's. If GBC had so many affairs why bother leaving TM - he could string her along as long as he could. As far as the personal satisfaction of getting a bit on the side goes - he was serviced quite adequately it seems. Was this relationship again with TM a purely monetary payback?

If he could have groomed the other mistresses similarly would TM still have been the front runner for his affections? I tend to believe that he would have discarded TM the moment his debts came good and he had another few floozies to work his ego requirements and maybe one he look at being used as personal investment insurance.

I think TM was just insurance for his debts and probably better insurance than poor Allison.

I wonder what the attraction was with these women, and how did the others escape the media attention? Personally my husband and I found him vile.

On the photos, it looks like NBC has nothing in his right ear. So it's either the left one or nothing at all.

Some time ago my daughter emailed a photo to me. It showed Bwana with gun slung over his shoulder whilst carrying baby (I believe this was GBC) and another small child and a toddler standing either side. Whilst at a clinic today my daughter gave her 4year-old son the ipad to keep him and his 22 month old sister occupied whilst she waited to see the specialist. He decided to use the 'make a movie' function and somehow found the Bwana picture which he thought would make a great background. Imagine the shock my daughter had when she watched the completed work! Play school animals shrieking and jumping out of the arms of the "armed man", Sorry I cannot share this work of art with you all...........I am a complete dummy when it comes to computers - unlike my grandchildren.

OT my first post (getting braver) just to say ONYA Marlywings. Awesome. Thank you for everything so far!

While I'm here can I just say what an amazing, funny, entertaining and loyal group of people you all are. I've felt a bit 'voyeurish' and guilty just lurking for all this time; Allison's fate has stirred up some old 'issues' for me - there but for the grace etc. Same industry, same personality disorder and very, very nearly the same fate. Like Allison, too nice, too trusting - and therefore too easily taken in. But unlike Allison, I was lucky.

I've learned so much from you all, thank you each and every one. I hope with every bone in my body that the filth involved in this get everything coming to them in this world and the next.

Hello Tishy & welcome, I too can relate to this horror story and that is why so many of us have been touched by Allison as many of us could have suffered the same fate. They walk amoung us and deliberately choose their targets. C'mon September !!

Hi Tishy and welcome! There are so many of us that's this site that have a similar story to Allison, however we are here to tell our stories. For me and no doubt others it has been a little bit cathartic to be able to speak to strangers when it is/ was too hard to tell family or friends. We owe it to Allison and ourselves to speak out if only to help others. I have since been married to a wonderful man for 15 years but will always remember the "old days". I think one legacy Allison has left for a group of strangers that will never stop fighting for her justice is that it is never okay to be abused in any way. We never forget, but must always be sure to try and stop anyone, male or female, from being treated with such disrespect.

Thank you for the kind welcome. Cathartic, yes absolutely, for me, reading about all your experiences and learning that I am not in fact weird, I did not in fact 'ask' or 'deserve' to be treated badly, and that sometimes when you eventually learn that, the very act of standing up for yourself can be the catalyst for the worst behaviour of all. I can't help but think this is what happened to Allison; that he knew somehow she was slipping away from his control, and that he couldn't let that happen. IMOO.

I personally think it was the last straw regardless of what she felt. When told by QPS he was:

1. Seeing other women
2. Was in financial difficulty
3. His wife was missing and it seemed like foul play
4. That he was a probable POI
5. That she was also potentially a POI
6. Finally he was charged with murder

That's enough to make most women say "bugger you buddy, you're on your own".

No, you are not weird, although you may have felt that way for some time, I hope you are happy now. Nobody asks for it, but for some reason only known to those involved nobody talks about it. Allison's death is a tragedy that has made many people tell their stories that would normally have kept silent. Let's make it her legacy that we teach girls to speak out. And, importantly, make sure that the law deals these these men and women that have a disposable view of life. September will be here before we know it. Good on you for joining the forum.

I agree

1. Loser
2. Many people have been there big not insurmountable
3. Go looking for her
4. Should've known that
5. As above. Hard for the hills
6. You're lucky to be alive

I think the kicker would have been when she realised that he had motive opportunity and method - I mean really what else could have happened. The realisation would have been a light bulb moment and I would think she has had little communication with Brucey since she realised just what may have happened
