Amateur Astrology, what's ahead for the USA

John Hagee? Free Republic? A Gun nut's website? Let me just say that while I do very much believe in astrology it is no wonder some of you are scaring yourselves to death by using any of these as news sources. They are anything but. The only words I'd believe at any of those sites are "and, but, and the".

And Glen Beck? Like Rush Limbaugh, he's had his issues with substance abuse.

First, I have no problem with substance abusers who have recovered. They have to be honest to stay sober/clean so their word is better than most. That statement to me is a red herring to the subject.

I do have a problem with politicians who believe themselves to be gods and we have D.C. full of them right now. Lying, stealing, greed and sexual perversions have become the norm instead of what they were elected to do and that is to SERVE their constituents.

No one is being "scared"..........I am not the least bit scared, but when this hits, don't count on me and others when wanting food, or medicines, or help. The Bible tells us to be prepared, and that is not fear, but good sense in these days.

This is the best example of the "handwriting on the wall" I have ever seen in my lifetime, and my elderly relatives say in theirs. I do seek the counsel of wise advisers, and I will not be caught unaware.

The astrological signs are all there, the ancient predictions are all there and only someone too full of fear to fact reality would deny all of them in my opinion.

There is also a series of books, I think they are called Foxfire. I am not sure if they are at the library or even still available, but they will teach you how to do lots of different things.

Interesting you brought those up. I have had the set for years. I bought each edition as they came out. They started in the 70's.

I bought them, not to learn how to do those things, but for "remembrance" of the old ways at the time. I grew up in a rural area in the mountains and most of the things they speak about, I have experienced in my lifetime.

They would be excellent if one did not know how to say raise and slaughter a hog, or field dress a deer. I would recommend them.

(((disappear)))) a big hug from another military wife. I can relate in that I've watched my Husband's benefits dwindle over the years. It frustrates me too in that aspect to no end. My own Husband has been active duty for over 24 yrs. He is a vet of Desert Storm and now has 2 tours to Iraq under his belt. He has worked so hard to serve our country. The least he and all vets should have is medical care provided. He will be in for 30-32 years, so I have no doubt he will deploy again.

I am looking at the transits to the USA chart, and notice that transiting Mercury is squaring USA Mars, opposing USA Neptune today.

Then, tomorrow, Mercury will conjunct Uranus.

In mundane astrology, Mercury governs the literary world, newspapers, pubishers, trade and commerce, communication, etc.

Mars, along with military and fires, rules industrial disputes, strikes and conflicts.

Neptune rules socialism, collectivism, fraud, swindling, loss, bogus companies, etc.

So we have the AIG/bailout scandal and conflict, which we keep hearing about in the news. And, other companies have similar bonus payouts, like Freddie and Fanny. Covered up is the larger billions that went to overseas banks and other investment companies.

Mercury conjunct Uranus, is a fast moving influence. We may hear more about strikes, rioting and political tension.

The Sun will square Pluto on Monday. Maybe we will hear about espionage, things hidden from public view, organized crime, violence, etc. This square is in hard aspect to the USA Venus. Jupiter will form a hard minor aspect to the same on the 26th of March.

And, to add to the interest, Mars will square the USA Uranus on the 26th, and will also semisquare USA Mercury later in the day.

Let's see what happens, and how well it fits the keyword concepts.

I am thinking about the Sun/Pluto square, and it's proximity to the USA Venus.

Pluto is "debt, death, and taxes". According to Wikipedia it is also associated with:

"Financial or political power, factions, big business, nuclear energy, mines; criminal detection, but under affliction the criminal underworld, death, catastrophes, dictators."

Venus, besides relating to art, women, beauty, is symbolic of wealth and money.

Pluto's opposition to USA Venus will last awhile, well into May, when it goes retrograde. I think the financial mess we are in is related to this transit.

Jupiter/Pluto together = the desire for power, plutocracy.

I expect that Obama/Congress will be eager to use the financial crisis to gain more governmental power over our financial/banking/investment system. There could be other events related to this transit, but the above seems the most probable.

I watch several of the charts, and don't have a firm opinion on which one works the best. The Scorpio rising chart seems to fit the present situation, though. Pluto is presently in the USA second house in that chart.

Ohnobama's ideas are so bizarre, I don't see how Congress or the public can even take him seriously. I wonder if his plan is that nobody would volunteer for the service having to pay for their own injuries incurred while serving our Country. Could this be a plan that he has to reinstate the draft? As far as I see, there is absolutely no way he can reasonably try and pass universal health care with putting us so far in debt in only two months. Of course, he'll try! I did not vote for him, but truly gave him the benefit of the doubt. That lasted approximately one week.

Please thank your husband for his service to our Country. I am proud of each and every brave soldier in our Armed Forces. I will include him in my prayers and God Bless him.

I dont like what I see happening, and I sure as hell dont like to think about what is going on behind the scenes. Thousands of people called and wrote their congressmen, telling them to vote against the bailout, and they did not listen.

Yes I did, I posted a article awhile back in here also Eric Holder saying that we must "appease" the Mexican government in order to help them with thier problem, it was also said not to long ago that the American drug addiction need is what is leading to the growth of this cartel. If they continue to spout off at the mouth that all of this is America's fault than it want be long before people start beleiving it,and then how are we suppose to defend ourselves when that happens, because our lovely government wants to disarm the law abiding citizens. If I have said it once I have said it a million times, criminals are not going to legal obtain their weapons, they will not registar their guns or get fingerprinted or take a mental and physical evaluation, and then turn around and use those "legally" obtained guns in a crime so that they can be tracked back to the criminal, I mean come on now. All this does is leave us defenceless against criminals.

Sorry to jump in but... have you seen how well gun bans have worked in (I think) Chicago and Washington DC? Crime rates are astronomical since the criminals know law abiding citizens don't have the weapons to protect themselves.

Looking at the chart I have for Mexico, I notice that Uranus and Neptune are conjunct at 0 Capricorn and 29 Sagittarius. Both of these are square to Pluto.

Mexico also has a t-square, with Moon, Mars, Saturn, and Jupiter involved... Her Sun is square the Uranus/Neptune conjunction.

So, Mexico has the proper signature for the war between the government and the drug cartels.

Thinking about the planets to consider as symbolic, Neptune is obvious for drugs, and I would assign Pluto to the drug cartels.

Pluto's entry into Capricorn is the trigger for the intensification of the drug wars. In the Chart for date of the arrests in the article you posted, Mars was in hard aspect to Pluto (semi-square). And, Pluto moves very slowly and will be hanging around the early degrees of Capricorn quite a long time.

I do not know, but think there is a good chance that Mexico will eventually collapse, and the cartels will be the reason. Timing wise? The summer of 2010 should be a hot time for Mexico, as well as USA. We both could be in civil distress by then.

USA Venus is in hard aspect to Mexico's Neptune. Our Jupiter is in hard aspect to Mexico's Sun. Our Pluto is hard to their Jupiter. There are many more cross aspects.

Our drug use, as a country, is encouraging these cartels to move into our cities. Mexico's Jupiter/Neptune midpoint is right on our Saturn.
